THis company was sent to my house by American Home Shield to replace a leaking electric water heater. I get back a quote for over $400 on the story that code requires that they install the ""water relief valve"" in the brand new water heater and that they ""need"" to replace two copper corrugated water lines.
First every new water heater in America has to be built at the factory with a new water pressure relief valve-- there is nothing for a plumber to do -- it is already in the new water heater-- they wanted $200 for what?
Second the copper lines are in good shape and do not need replacing and even if they were replaced it would take all of ten minutes to replace them and screw the nuts on the incoming and outgoing pipe and to the water heater nipples -- surely this is not worth over $200!
They were also getting paid by AHS to install the new water heater and then they wanted me to pay for completely unnecessary work to pad their fees on this simple job.
To add insult to injury-- despite my never agreeing to pay them any fees for coming out to look at the work -- they were paid by AHS for this and the email I received said $0 fees to contractor for inspection- they emailed me an invoice for $60 after I canceled this installation with AHS.I am not paying them unsurprisingly.
The only thing they are interested in is resurrecting their bank account at my expense--- lots of other plumbers out there that at least only do work that is necessary --
Bunch of baloney -i had a new water heater installed and the plumber did not install a thermal expansion tank - ahs specifically said a "" pressure relief valve"" - which is already in the water heater. And charging hundreds of dollars to screw on two corrugated lines is crazy - ten minutes work - so your rate is hundreds of dollars per hour?
Make sure you get specific quote -and make them agree to give you a free quote - so you don't get stuck between a trip charge and a high quote.
Screwing on a couple copper inlet and outlet tubes is not rocket science-- your not doing brain surgery --
And ahs does not pay for modifications but they do pay for the normal installation and it is not code that copper corrugated lines need replacing every time.

I was very pleased with the level of service from Jesse and the Resurrection Plumbing team. I got connected to Resurrection through my home warranty company (American Home Shield). Jesse called to get details on the leak we had in our kitchen to get further details and he said he would be out to check on it asap... he showed up within about an hour and diagnosed the issue and started working on it... it was a multi stage issue, which required communication and pre-approvals from my home warranty company and Jesse handled that all seamlessly and without hassle to my wife or me. Very easy to contact and quick to respond. Even though I didn't have to pay directly for the services, I did have visibility to the pricing and all costs seemed very reasonable.
Overall, very professional outfit and special thanks to Jesse for resolving our slab leak issue.

Working with this company through our warranty company and they sent a guy in that couldn't stop complaining about working for resurrection. He claimed the owner wouldn't pay him and he wanted to quit. The handle broke off on the sink the day after the ""repair"". Water started coming out of the handle so he said we needed a new faucet. I had to call several times in 2 weeks to find out the status. Turns out he did quit but Jessica was unable to answer any of our questions and hung up on us. We asked for another company to work with because these guys reek of unprofessionalism.

Once again very happy with the service I received from Resurrection Plumbing. Ron was very friendly and knowledgeable. He installed the water faucet for my washer machine in less than 5 minutes. I recommend Ron for any of your plumbing needs.

My first awesome experience with a plumbing company, after a series of disappointments and utter frustration with other companies that did not communicate or care. Jesse was extremely professional, courteous, communicated with us constantly, and went above and beyond in getting us taken care of. He also knew his stuff! They have our business for years to come, and if I have to go through our home warranty plan, I will specifically request them.

I just had Resurrection Plumbing out to our home tonight for a emergency sewer back up. Coy called me with a 30min eta. Both him and Don were here on time, plus resurrection Plumbing has a app that you can follow the plumbers on live feed to see how far away they are. Coy and Don explained about they grease build up in my mainline sewer. They both got right on it with the hydro jetted and cleared the sewer just in time for me to get my 2 boys in the shower before bed time!! I have no idea about this Brett L. Guy comment but all I gotta say is resurrection Plumbing is straight forward about the right way of doing the job and perfect in communicating with me on how it needs to be done right the first time. Hands-down best experience I have had with a plumber, most definitely they are not cons or scam artist! Just plumbers doing their job right.

BEWARE! Up sell scam artist. Another review was spot on regarding Coy, who I believe is the owner and tried up selling and unnecessary jetting. I first spoke with reception to verify they'd clear from roof and for a matched price. Explained exactly the problem and fix needed as I've done this before and she called him to verify. Called me back and said no problem. When Coy arrived he said he would only jet through roof and would be $375 instead of $175 quoted. I'm sure he scams and up sells others in need so beware. Probably the reason for multiple dbas with complaints. Go Green is one of their other plumbing scam companies. Good luck if you choose them!

I explained exactly the issue and NEVER stated I had ground level clear outs. Nice service, now making false statements to cover a TRUE review. Sad.
***Well good thing I'm able to record phone calls as I did with your company. If needed the BBB will be given access to my call that clearly states I never said what you are claiming. Bad business and even worse in accusing potential customers of not understanding their own home and putting false statements in my mouth. Again, just sad.

This is the best plumbing company I have ever worked with. It's always a great experience from the first phone call until the job is completed. I have American Home Shield as my home warranty plan and I have had some really bad plumbers. I always try to get Resurrection Plumbing. They never disappoint.

Most horrible plumbing service company in my experience. Coy exemplifies unprofessional and poor customer service, he pressures/cheats customer to purchase unwanted products, and charges the most outrages prices. I actually saved $700 to install the same exact water heater with another plumber who was humble, courteous and more importantly listened to my/customer need. I wasted $105 just on the service call and to be entertained by Coy's attitude and unprofessional service. I will not recommend Resurrection Plumbing to anyone iround San Diego.

As with other reviewers, our Home Warranty company directed us to Resurrection Plumbing to assess our leaky water heater. Jesse came out and told my husband that, not only did we need new water heater, we needed to fix issues that were not to code. We had recently purchased the home and were a bit disheartened! It was right after Christmas and not exactly thrilled about the expense! But Jesse was extremely flexible, made it affordable, showed up on time, did an amazing job fixing all the issues and installed a beautiful (if you can call a water heater beautiful!) water heater! We HIGHLY recommend Resurrection Plumbing and we will definitely call them with any future plumbing needs. Thank you Jesse!!!
