Rescue Your Air & Drain
Company Overview
Rescue Your Air & Drain was established out of a commitment to provide unmatched customer service within the Memphis heating, cooling, and plumbing fields. Mike along with his staff are devoted to serving their clients as if they would their loved ones would be treated. Moreover, this dedicated crew works to assist local pet rescues and animal welfare groups. Every quarter, a percentage revenue is given toward a regional animal rescue.
I have been in the HVAC industry since 2002. I hold the view that if you treat your customers the same way you would look after your family and consistently doing the right thing, you’ll be successful for those who support you and your business. I care deeply for animal rescues and own a few rescued animals. What I love about my company is that my staff have been with me for more than a decade. We all understand how to work together from each other, and this transforms the experience to be a passion instead of just a job.

I wouldn't trust them to fix my paper airplane's AC. At the direction of my home warranty Rescue Air and Drain was sent to my home. From my first visit on May 23rd until my 5th visit on June 18th I still DO NOT have any air. I am now out of a great deal of money and vacation time and still hot in 90+ degree weather. The timeline is listed below:
May 23th My scheduled service window was 12-5pm and they arrived at 7:30 pm; determined my 2 ton condenser needs replacing
May 29th Finally contacted about replacement parts and the greater than $1,000 that I would have pay outside of the home warranty coverage.
June 6th 10-2pm scheduled for install; Rescheduled at 12 pm due to family emergency for the tech
June 7th 10-2 pm scheduled for install; Rescheduled to June 10th at 3 pm due to other jobs taking longer before mine
June 10th arrived at 10 am installed a 2.5 Ton Unit(instead of a 2 Ton Unit) because the first technician requested the wrong size unit. A few hours later the air was not cooling, the unit has an oily substance leaking, and electrical wires were exposed.
June 11th They returned and discovered that my brand new 2 ton AC Coil was not working with the incorrectly installed 2.5 Ton Unit that they requested and installed.
June 13th They returned with a 2.5 Ton AC Coil to hopefully rectify the issue, it did not. I notified them on June 14th it was still not working and I had to continually call them until they scheduled a return visit 5 days later.
June 18th I am told there is nothing else they can do and that I would need to get an electrician to rectify an issue they started and they would notify the home warranty company.
June 19th Notification has not been provided to the home warranty company in order to schedule an electrician. You would think that after nearly a month of dealing with them there would be some urgency to get this completed.
I am out over $1,000 and I still am not closer to having a functioning air conditioner unit.

They were reluctant to give me a morning appointment in the morning because ""the tech is not normally in that area before noon"". I explained that due to my work schedule, only a morning appointment would be possible. They gave me an appointment for 8am-12pm more than a week away. The day of the appointment, they claimed that the tech ""had an emergency"" and would not give me another morning appointment. I guess they only have 1 HVAC tech and he/she decides when and where they will work.

We had a leak left by builders. When the patch failed 20 years later we called and the technician Jeremy responded quickly and identified the issue and corrective actions needed. Scheduled for the next day to help with our schedule. He completed the job quickly and efficiently. His professionalism and work ethic were amazing. 10/10 would recommend.

This company is very friendly make you feel like you family, they always come in the time frame. My air had been out since this summer no one could seem to find the problem. Let me tell you about Andy !! He took his time found the problem and got us back and running. This man loves his job you can tell by his pateince he shows towards customers by listening to them, and solving the problem..

My home warranty company sent this company out and the Tech broke my drain. I reported it and of course the tech denied the damage. I then called the company back and was told by someone name Brandie that because their tech said he didn't do it then there was nothing they could do to help me and that I would need to file a new claim (meaning pay for their technician damage). Very unprofessional, no one calls back when they say they will and only cares about the money.

My home warranty company assigned them for my AC. I completed the claim on the weekend. Monday morning I received a text asking if a time was good for me. Technician was timely and very pleasant. Once he arrived my air was blowing snowballs within minutes! I recommend this company to anyone.

Rescue was called out by American Home Shield for a service call on a tankless water. The tech showed up without any tools and performed a ""diagnostic"" on my water heater without even removing the cover plate from the unit. He looked at one error code, after being told that it was throwing multiple codes, and that was it. The water heater itself was leaking internally, dripping onto the electrical, and ponding in the bottom of the unit. All of this the tech would have been able to see if he had bothered to even take off the cover of the unit to perform a true diagnostic. Instead, they sent in a report to AHS three days late and offered to flush the system as a ""repair"". I contacted the owner, sent him pictures and videos of the leak and informed him that flushing would not repair the unit. In fact, it would most likely flood my attic. I also explained how his tech did not do his job properly by performing a true diagnostic on the unit. Instead of owning up that his tech did not do his job properly, he told AHS that I did not want to repair the unit and wanted a cash out...forgetting to mention that the unit could not be repaired and his ""repair"" was likely to cause more damage. I work in this industry and had a licensed master plumber come double check my findings and they were confirmed by him. If you are expecting quality work and good communication, I would strongly advise against using this company.

Austan the Plumber front Rescue Your Air & Drain was always Courteous and Professional when he arrived to repair the plumbing issues. He is very knowledgeable and always knows exactly how to repair or correct the problems. Sincerely, From Crawfordville, AR

Very knowledgeable & personable. I even got my appointment a day earlier than originally scheduled. Brennan was very courteous and explained what he was doing while the work was in progress. Definitely would recommend and use their services again.

They didnt show!! They left a voice mail, instead of letting the phone ring through. They asked me to call them back to confirm...6 tries later, someone answered ""oh sorry, we're across the bridge now.. we cannot come back"" THEY WERE NEVER HERE to do the job they contracted to do!!!
