I was skeptical after reading the reviews here, I am happy to say that I was pleasantly surprised! I was in a bind and they were the only company that could come out same day. So I gave them a call.

They gave me a window when they should arrive and they said they would call me about 30 minutes before the tech was supposed to arrive.

I received the first call about 1 hour before that window started to let me know they were working on getting someone to my location. I got a call about every 30-45 minutes with updates. I loved that, I did not feel like I was forgotten. I didn't even mind that they showed up over 1.5 hours past the original window, because I was kept updated.

The service was excellent. Very knowledgeable and professional. I was provided 3 options and explained the benefits of each. I was very satisfied with the work that was done and in the time it was completed. I didn't have a ton of paperwork, as other reviews stated. We only went over the estimate and the invoice.

I will certainly be calling them again if I ever need plumbing help!

Don't trust this company. I called them after trying to snake my main drain line. They sent out a guy who tried the exact same thing I had done and said it didn't work but charged me $400 for it. Then they said if they hydro jet for another $800 it will fix the problem 99 % of the time. They were unsuccessful at even getting the hydro jet to the clog and gave up still charging me the full amount. Every time I stopped by to check on the progress they would be sitting in their truck with the AC not doing anything. They then told me for another $8000 they could dig up the line and add a clean out so they could jet it probably. I said I would install the clean out myself if they would come back and jet it for free since they charged me $1,200 for doing nothing. They agreed. I dug up the pipe fixed the problem and installed the cleanout myself in 5 hours and it only cost me $600 including parts and excavator rental. When I called to have them come back for the hydro jet they said it would be another. $500! Total scam artist and completely worthless. Don't trust these crooks.

Peter came out and unclogged our tub drain. After doing so, gave me some tips to help keep the pipes clear. Great service.

I was faced with a broken sewer line and back up that came up in my laundry room and outside. It was awful and Rescue Rooter sent Robert Gine first thing in the morning. Robert was extremely knowledgeable and explained the process to me. My sewer line has been replaced and I am most grateful to Robert and his crew. Robert went above and beyond in the cleanup and I am so happy with the result. Thank you Robert Gine and Crew. Thank you Rescue Rooter.

Robert was fantastic!
We began with a toilet & washer back-up. By the end of our repair: our basement piping was replaced; concrete flooring replaced; and sewer pipe relined to street. He also hauled away the deconstruction waste after Waste Management refused pick-up of their Bagster which we purchased through Amazon, due to our Zip Code!
Robert carefully explained each step of the process as well as being respectful and patient as we secured financing.
We will call on Robert to assist with any future issues our 1924 Wallingford Bungalow may have.

The plumber showed up 3 hours late for an appointment to get an estimate. We had to delay our dinner and no apology was given. He finally showed up right as we sat down to eat (eyes rolling... we decided to eat because we gave up on him coming!). No discount was offered for the inconvenience. Instead, the estimate was $700 for a clogged dishwasher drain + bathtub diverter replacement. Are you kidding me? I know it's Seattle and prices are high, but we can smell a ripoff when we hear one. We had to decline in the nicest way possible. Lastly, he had nothing to write with- I had to run outside as he was leaving because I realized he took my special pen when I clearly told him I needed it back.

At least the dispatcher was friendly, notifying us twice that he was running late. I suspect there are some good, honest plumbers at this company, we just didn't get one.

Our sewer line got plugged early morning, Saturday, so we called Rescue Rooter of Seattle. They sent out Robert to rotor root our drain. He was not successful, so he said that we needed to replace a section of our drain and put in a clean out in our yard for $6000. We asked him about using a water jet. He informed us that that was not possible because our basement would flood. We told him that we would think about it. We got a recommendation from another plumber to call Action Jackson. They came out a used a water jet and found the same brake. No flooding. They installed the cleanout as Robert suggested than spent quite a bit of time with water jetting the rest of the sewer line to finish cleaning the line for $3200. $6000 - $3200 = $2800 savings

Excellent service and good price: fast service for clogged toilet and after unclogging toilet only for only $141, John offered a $306 price to view entire sewer line to street on camera to make sure there were no renewed problems since we had root problems there 11 years ago. John discovered a misaligned section that could cause future problems and wrote up multiple bids for fixing this in several different ways.

Just normal paperwork so don't understand previous review complaining about this and upgrading toilet (maybe that toilet was not upgraded to high efficiency toilet yet to save our planet, etc.?)!

Highly recommend this company for solving clogged drains. Did not use their other plumbing services yet but will in the future based on this pleasant experience.

Ok, so Cody who helped me was totally fine. Hear that, Rescue Rooter, the problem is YOU, not him.

The amount of paperwork this company requires turned what should have been a 15-minute stop into a 1 1/2- hour ordeal. All of this while the only toilet in my house was clogged and un-usable, by the way. I called because it was after-hours and my toilet was clogged beyond what plunging could remedy (not my doing, mind you, it was my small kid). Anyway, I just needed it to be snaked with the special toilet snake that ""rooters"" have.

But the company required Cody to fill out pages upon pages of paperwork showing that he had offered me every ridiculous option that exists from using a camera to find the problem (I definitely definitely already knew what the problem was) to taking my toilet out just to look underneath it for fun. One thing that pissed me off too was that he told me that I should consider replacing my toilets because the life span of a toilet is 5-10 years which is patently ridiculous. Last I checked, porcelain does not ""go bad."" I mean, the inside parts might need help or replacement, but one does not need to REPLACE a TOILET because it is clogged. There are old houses with 150-year-old toilets in them. So I told him that there was no way in hell I was replacing my 20-year-old toilets which had never had any problems until my 2.5-year-old tried to flush an entire package of wipes down one of them.

Even so, Cody had to spent a long time writing up a bid to replace my toilet and the one in my basement apartment (which had zero problems) with various options even though I told him there was no way I was going to do that. The company still required him to write it all out freehand so I could sign a thing saying I didn't want $2000 worth of completely unnecessary new toilets.

So, after over an hour of paperwork and signing various things saying that I declined hundreds and hundreds of dollars worth of wholly ridiculous options, Cody easily un-clogged my toilet with his special toilet snake which was all I ever wanted him to do in the first place. It cost about $140, which is normal (or maybe slightly cheap) for this kind of thing in my experience.

Even though Cody was great. I am DEFINITELY going to call someone else if this ever happens again because I just do not have time for this much bullshit. (Ok, honestly, I'm still annoyed at Cody for trying to convince me that I needed new toilets even if he was required to say that. That's just so clearly ridiculous. He could have at least demonstrated that he knew it was absurd. But the fault does not lie with him.)
