Be very careful that they don't pull a bait and switch. I responded to an ad for an $88 drain cleaning and camera inspection. No one ever appeared to do the camera inspection. Jordan told me it would cost an additional $400. He didn't seem to have any intention of providing the service advertised. The 'Clean out' had very easy access. Beware!

Horrible company. Avoid at all costs. Called them at 7am about a clogged bathtub drain. They said they'd have a tech out between 9 -12 the same day. At 11:30 they called and said they didn't have enough technicians to get to us today and that their next appointment was the following Friday... 8 days from now. How do you go from service within 5 hours to 8 days??

They wasted 5 hours to tell us that and now we are scrambling to find another company so we can get our drain cleared.

I hope all of their own personal drains overflow with sewage. Thanks for nothing Jack Howk.

I'm not one to write reviews but in this case I feel I need to. This company has a problem with communications. From technicians failing to show up, to the office staff returning phone calls. Then a salesman who does not return phone calls either. I called on a Sunday afternoon to have someone come clear a sewer line for me. I was given a time frame of 4 to 8 pm for a tech to be at my home. At some time after 9 I gave up on them. At this point I should have just called someone else, but I didn't. I figured Rescue Rooter was a well known name. Didn't check reviews either, my mistake there. But Monday morning I called the office and was given yet another time from of noon to 4 that same day. Only to get a call later in the day saying they were overbooked for the day and to call on Tuesday. Again I should have called someone else, but didn't. Tuesday rolls around and I call and am told that the techs were all in a meeting and someone would call be back as soon as they were done with their meeting. I waited 3 hours and got no call, at which time I called the office to find out what the heck was going on. Finally a tech showed up that afternoon to clear my line. The tech was friendly enough and gave me a quote and started the work. Well he ran into some issues and had to wait for Dave to show up to continue. By the time Dave showed up it was 830 in the evening. I was quote a price to take care of the issue that had come up, when I questioned that amount Dave made a phone call and that amount was changed. The tech came back the next day to finish up the temporary fix in my line, as I was told I needed a new line. So new line was put in, no issues at all with the guys who did this work. Almost a month later we finally got the ditch in our yard filled in and paid the bill. During all this time there was original paperwork and changed order paperwork. The $ amount on the change order paperwork and what I paid came to two different numbers. When I questioned Dave on this, he got a bit ""hot under the collar"" about me questioning things. He said he would have Cindy look at things. Which I have no idea if that happened or not, as I have not heard another word from them. Ok so if you have gotten this far, good for you. Bottom line on this company? If you choose to use them, make sure you totally understand that they are more expensive than other companies, they do not return phone calls and also make sure the amount you pay is the actual amount owed. Keep very close track of the paperwork and your payments. It was not a good experience at all, and looking back on it, I wish we had used a different company.

Never had a chance to work with them, they canceled beforeever coming out. Apparently they are only a 24/7 emergency plumbing company when they feel like it.

Don't count on them. I called their local number and got a scheduling agent in California. She told me she would have someone to my place same day between 12-4. The job is in the crawlspace so I got the access all set up. Some guy calls me at 3:30 to say they should not have scheduled anything and he is very sorry but cant get out for quite some time. He says I cant even tell you when I could get someone out. You will just need to call back.
I doubt it!!!!!

We were in a bind as we had a water leak in a pipe on the outside of our house and our water was turned off and we needed it fixed so we went with the company that could fix it the soonest, but I wish we hadn't. We were charged $1700 for a job that took less than 3 hours and not many supplies to fix. I have called corporate and the local phone numbers multiple times and not one person can give me an answer of how they come up with their pricing. I just keep hearing we charge flat rates. Well, that flat rate is a complete scam if you ask me and compared to other prices I have since been able to look up. I will never use this company again.

Have called them 3 times now. First for installation of hot water dispenser. Even though they do ""plumbing"", they said they could not install it. Second, for help with getting the pilot light lit on a water heater THAT THEY INSTALLED. Said they could not do it--they only do plumbing and drainage issues. (Yet on their website they say they have 24/7 emergency plumbing.)
Third time, I called to have a new water heater installed. I called them because I received a mailer saying ""If you still required help with your home service issue..."". They said they did not have the manpower to do a water heater installation. Again, their website said that they did water heater installation.
I will not call them again.

I recently had couple of issues in Portland and I reached out to ARS. Below were the issues that i reached them out with
1. My toilet bowl was not filling water immediately after flushing. It used to take 5-7 mins for refilling the bowl.  This team (two of them) have replaced a part (as per cost in Amazon it is 30-50 USD) and they charged 379 USD to me which is too expensive.
2. Second issue that i had was a faucet in my master bathroom that was making noise. They did not diagnose the issue and said that the faucet needs to be replaced and they will charge around 800 USD for the same. I searched youtube (How to Fix a Noisy Faucet) and found the below link

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8jSd_G-rRXg&ab_channel=ThisOldHouse

which solved my issue. I had to turn my hot water valve thrice to fix it as demoed in video.

This proved that they do not do any diagnosis and are expensive so use them knowing these facts. Looks like they mint money. Most of the time i see that plumbers do not diagnose the issue but suggest you change the parts unnecessarily and charge you heavily.

One of our supply lines to our water heater burst at night. We called and they said no technicians were available at night. They said they would call back in the morning for availability. I was able to look up some videos and shut off the water and slow the leak.

The next morning, we did not receive a call. We called and they had no record of our call. They also said they could not service leaking pipes, but only clogged drains due to how busy they were. They said that they could not look at it within two weeks.

They could easily offer a disclaimer on their website that their work can only involve clogged drains. It would save a lot of time.

They are better than they used to be.. I am glad they are trying to improve but hounding clients with quality calls is not the way... nor is it on insisting that I speak to a quality assurance person at 1030 at night after a long day..

They have improved.. but they need to understand upsetting clients in the name of improving is not a great way to have return clients..

Advice to them is streamline front office, ease up on insistance and multiple quality calls.. on the right track just not there yet..
