2/27/2017 * Rescue Rooter and, in particular, one of their service providers, Rich, are top notch in my book. We had a pipe that burst on New Year's Eve day -- and despite the fact that we were hours away from the holiday, RR sent us Rich who knew exactly what to do and did resolved our emergency with a great attitude and with an explanation for everything that he was doing and why. Professional service, friendly and very helpful service guy and a very fair price. I hope we don't need a plumber again for a while (nothing personal), but this is my new go-to company and Rich is the guy I will always ask for first. Thank you, Rich ... thank you RR.

Requested a quote for a new water heater. One of their plumbers came out and gave me a quote for over 3,000. I about died. I asked how much was the water heater. He said he did not know! What?! I told him that I did know and to try to charge me over 2400 for install was stupid. He of course said... It's not me... It's management. I told him to get out. What a waste of my time. They go around ripping people off. So sad. Do not use them.

They tell you they will be there in 90 minutes. Than they tell you it will be several hours. I will never use them again. They also tried to get me to spend several thousand dollars. That work was not necessary. Don't trust them

Horrible service!!! The only reason we called this company is because they are contracted thru Home Depot and we purchased our tankless water heater from Home Depot. They set up a service appointment to arrive between 12 and 4pm. They never showed up. At 5pm I called and they said they were running late (stuck in traffic) and ETA was 6pm. Still a no show. Said they would call back in 15 mins with a new ETA - never did. Called them at 7pm and now ETA is 745 and of course at 745 they still have not arrived. No respect for other people's time. I will take my business else where! Total flakes and unprofessional- do not use this company unless you want a headache!

I manage a 5-plex. One of the tenants was trying to ""help"" and the other tenants ended up without water. I get a call at 8PM from the other tenants. I called Rescue Rooter to go see what happened. They arrived around midnight, surveyed and determined what was needed then called me for the go ahead. After all that the charge was below what I expected. Jonathan did a great job and I would not hesitate to call them again.

If I could give zero stars, I would. These guys left me high and dry. My contractor was working on my kitchen when there was a problem with the valve that turns water on to my home. Rather than tackling it himself, he called around and arranged for a plumber to come out and resolve the issue. He was quoted a 90 minute time window. Without getting into all the details , we waited 5 hours! When I called they nothing to say that would resolve this issue....we waited another hour as it was a Friday, now evening. Once we got to six hours waiting we called again. They promised me they would make me first on Saturday morning. I had to find place to stay for the evening for my husband and I with our two dogs. Trust me - that was not fun. Next morning, after a phone call to verify they were coming- they blew us off. We had to call someone else, pay double time which left me stuck with a five hundred dollar bill for something that should have only cost two hundred.
Stay away from these guys. Everything about them sucks. They say they will do the right things and then back out without any remorse.

Two stars only for being relatively pleasant. Wanted to charge over $200 for a simple rooter job. Went back to my usual local rooter service (these guys were called by another member of the household) who did the job for less than half. I remember now why we stopped using them!
