Quick response and thorough, respectful employees. Every person you are in contact with - from the phone call to the service person make you feel valued as a customer.
I broke my cesspool pipe today accidentally trying to repair a fence post. I called Chris and within 2 hours his company was at the house and the pipe was repaired. I couldn't be happier. I will be recommending this company to anyone that has cesspool needs.
We were in need of someone to come help us diagnose an issue we started seeing with the cesspools in front yard. When I called the number someone picked up on the first call and it was a secretary who had to then put me to someone else or take my number and have someone call me back; so that was great. They were able to then come the very next day. We found out we need a while new system. They did the install 2 days later !!! Not weeks. I was very happy about that. They communicated with us the whole time. I think the cost was reasonable ( my first time dealing with anything having to do with cesspools). I think all around a great company. You wouldn't be upset or worries if you gave them a call.
After witnessing a clogged toilet and water leaking from the waste pipe in my basement I knew this was not going to be a great day.
I immediately called Rescue Cesspool. They arrived within 2 hours. I was advised my septic tank needed to be pumped but also was told I had a clogged pipe. I am a woman living alone so it was great not being taken advantage of. The gentleman that came to take care of my problem explained everything as he went along so I had an understanding as to what was being done.
I really appreciate the promptness my call was answered, the courtesy I was shown and the overall outcome.
I would highly recommend RESCUE CESSPOOL to anyone looking for a good, honest snd reputable company which is not so easy to find these days.
Thank you so much.
I have recently had a very unpleasant experience with Rescue Cesspool & Drains. I wanted to share my story as I would not want this to happen to anyone else. Please read my story and decide for yourself if this is a company you would want to do business with? For me I know I will never do business with them again.
On March 30, 2020 I had an issue with my cesspool. I had TP and ""stuff"" coming out of the vent pipe on the side of my house. I called Rescue Cesspool & Drains as I have used them before in fact they actually put the cesspools in about 12 years ago. The women who answers the phone is always courtesy and helpful. She scheduled a trunk to come to my house that day and they arrived when she said they would. The technician also seemed nice and appeared to do a complete job. He said he emptied the cesspool and also snaked a pipe. After he left to my delight I found he did not clean up the area by the vent pipe(I had to do that myself, so gross I almost threw up 3 times). Anyway for this ""service"" $900 + dollars. I thought that's a bit expensive but it must have been bad if TP and ""stuff"" was coming out of the vent pipe, which has never happen once before since I brought the house in 2001.
Fast forward to May 20, 2020 this is later in the day probably between 5-6pm after work. I go out side to get my bike from the shed. Again I have TP and ""stuff"" coming out of the vent pipe on the side of my house. So we call Rescue Cesspool & Drains they tell us it must be a clog in a pipe and they will send a roto specialist as it can't be the cesspool if it was just pumped 7 weeks ago. Later that night the roto specialist arrives he is very through and detailed after spending about 45 minutes he tells me my main cesspool was never pumped they only pumped your overflow cesspool. He says he can tell as my overflow cesspool is filled up mostly with water. He also locates the main cesspool but tells me there is nothing more he can do as the main cesspool needs to be pumped out. He also calls the company with his findings. He tells me I should call them first thing in the morning to schedule a trunk to come and pump out the main cesspool because it was not done back on March 30, 2020.
March 21, 2020 The same technician comes and comments he remembers being here and the only difference is the gazebo which is up now. He stays only a short while as he says the ground is too hard to dig up by himself and he needs help. He say he can come back later after his other scheduled jobs but we have a ""virtue party"" that night so we choose to have him and help come back first thing tomorrow morning.
Today March 22, 2020 The same technician and help come they say the ground is one of the hardest grounds they have come across so they use a pickaxe to get to where the roto specialist and they believe the main cesspool is. The problem is where the main cesspool is isn't where the access value they put in is but guess what was there? My inground sprinkler pipes, which are destroyed by the pickaxe. They finally find the access value and pump the main cesspool and again snake a pipe. This time I make it a point to mention that I would appreciate it if they could also clean up the TP and ""stuff"" that came out of the vent pipe. They do. I figured I might get a small bill but really thought I shouldn't get charged at all as they didn't do the job right back on March 30, 2020 and that is what caused all of this. Wrong another $900 + bill. So I called explain this entire situation to the women who answers the phone. I am told the owner will be called and they will get back to me. The owner doesn't call me back the women who answer the phone does. She tells me the owner said they are not liability for damage to inground sprinkler pipes but he will give me a $200 credit because I have been inconvenienced by all of this. Horrendous and completely unacceptable
Prospective buyers paid Rescue Cesspool for cesspool inspection on house in St. James. The Rescue Cesspool service tech on the job site opened pool, & told owner and prospective buyers the concrete block pool looked in good condition since it was empty & could see all way to bottom. Prospective buyers called Rescue owner, told him it was a block cesspool. Owner told them "" it is a cinder block pool, it is sagging, and will collapse. You will need a whole new septic tank system"". A second opinion from Mike, a different cesspool company tech with 41 years experience said "" the CONCRETE BLOCK pool is in good condition, because it's empty, I can see all way to bottom, there is no sagging, this pool is solid"". Mike then told me he has heard many cesspool companies are now pushing new systems since the new law for septic systems just went into effect for Suffolk County on July 1, 2019. Bottom line, the Rescue owner did not even see the cesspool & scared the prospective buyers with just plain non-sense. STAY CLEAR of this dishonest company. He is out to make a quick $6,000. for work not needed.
This is by far worst company to deal with. They put a new system in my front lawn, as they started to dig and had a 10 foot pile of dirt on my lawn, the boss said there dump truck broke down and they would rerun the next day to remove it.Well 4 days passed and they returned late Friday in a torrential rain storm,I called there office and girl insisted they finish in rain which I was against.the backhoe sunk in and destroyed my yard. They worked in the rain and in the dark .I told him they are leaving too much dirt but he insisted it would settle.when it came time to pay he insisted on 3500.00 in cash which was never discussed. The ground never settled,I called office the girl said the would take care of it,after email and phone calls the owner came up with one BS story after another.I had to pay 500.00 to landscaper to remove 4 yards of crap off my lawn. These guy lie through there teeth and are a bunch of crooks.Do Not Let Them on your property.
How can anyone give this company less than five stars? I would give six if at all possible. The price, the service, the mechanics/technicians, the owner. I always try to use local small businesses whenever possible and could not be more elated than I am right now that I found this one. Going to go on every single social media website I can find to sing their praises!!! Thank you
Rescue replaced my old failing cesspool with a new one, and did a beautiful job doing so. They took the time and effort to make sure the job was done correctly. Very professional, would recommend to anyone.
Jay M.While looking to purchase a house I arranged for a cesspool Inspection. They came late and it was getting dark. After finding cover to tank they said the tank is too deep to inspect and therefore can give me no certain information about the tank. Then he proceeded to charge me full price and the owner said on the phone said though we can't see it his opinion was the tank was brick and probably collapsed. So now I had no evidence of condition of cesspool for negotiations and I was charged full price. I felt completely ripped off and taken advantage of for work that wasn't done complete. If you can't inspect then how can you charge me for it. I feel like this was total scam. Even with text messages back and forth with owner he never even offered any money back for absolutely no work done.
So they wrote back that I declined bringing in a machine. Of course I did. I am looking at purchasing a house. How do I dig up the front lawn to try to get idea about condition of cesspool. If that's a $600 dollar service call telling me no info except what they think and that was the owner on the phone not the guy there, meanwhile he was late and it was getting dark then you can count me out. Sorry but my dad is a plumber and if he goes to a job and does not do the job it's a $30 service charge, not a $600 charge.
