Dealing with RES-COM Plumbing was a dreadful experience. Initially, the original plumber who responded to the call did the work and gave us the quote was a decent man. I would enthusiastically work with him again if he were not connected with RES-COM Plumbing. Once the job was finished a new contact billing person started contacting me. That is when the problems began. His first contact was to issue an unexplained bill for $992.00 when the original quote was $500.00. There was also a $75.00 holding fee my tenant had to pay to assure services. The bill arrived void of any breakdowns of costs or charges and was presented in narrative form as if he was trying to tell a story. When I contacted him to ask for explanations he became indignant. He even called my tenant numerous times seeking payment before we were able to agree on the terms. Finally, I was able to speak with the owner who agreed to lower the cost to $700.00 in addition, he would provide a 30% future discount for any future services. The decent thing to do would have been to give that discount for THIS job along with the reduction. He surely knew I would never use them again to ask for that discount, which means he would never honor it. Decency was not a consideration. The biggest problem I have is with the billing colleague who harassed me and my tenant for the better part of a week and the way he/they presented an invoice void of costs and charges. The hostile manner in which the billing person communicated with me also shocked me to the point of disbelief. To be fair to the original plumber, he did a fine job and it was a joy to work with him. My issue is with the hatchet billing man & to a lesser degree, the owner for harassing us for payment - even blaming us for the added arbitrary costs. The bill was fully paid within nine days. It was a horrible week and a half of harassment. I have never witnessed such unprofessional and despicable behavior from a company whose sole job is to provide an honest service. They are far from honest from what I experienced and could never in good conscious recommend RES-COM Plumbing.

Luigi is a skilled and honest plumber. He's done several jobs at our house, and we've always been very happy with his work. He's the first plumber I recommend when anyone inquires.

Luigi Lamberto installed a new water heater in my home last week. I have rarely met an individual in this line of work, who was able to concomitantly demonstrate the attributes of knowledge/ proficiency/skill, with the personal characteristics of humor/courtesy/kindness, as well as remarkable competence. Unfortunately I had to click 1 star to post this... does not deserve even that. We had to file a THEFT REPORT with the police against Luigi, the owner & ONLY employee of Res-Com Plumbing, in order to get our plumbing parts back. ( Luigi did return them to the police) He left early as usual 1 day with 2 important parts we had already bought for both the bath faucet & handheld shower & said he'd have to get adapters & he'd be back... he never was. When we reached out to him to demand our parts back, he literally texted to say he'd bring them back when we paid the remainder owed for bath hook up, which was far from done. My husband & I started work on a re-pipe & bath remodel in December 2018, as of today, 3/5/19 the remainder of the bath hook up is not completed. All sounded great up front as Luigi said he didn't have employees because his name & business are his reputation & he didn't want other workers not doing a good job...well, it turns out that Luigi didn't have to worry about employees giving him or his business a bad name, he is capable of this all on his own. Luigi works when he wants to work & when he DOES decide to show up you can be guaranteed you'll get maybe 3-4 hours of work out of him.... oh, & he will use your tools/supplies as well. I have no idea how a plumber can do a job when he doesn't even come with the correct tools. If my husband was not home on the days Luigi worked, more would still be left undone. My husband was was his unpaid assistant & provider of 2x4's, nails, screws, saws, chisels, files, wrenches, etc. We are now working with Code Blue & they have been absolutely fabulous!!! Bottom line, if you want a qualified, honest, hard working plumber who will do right by you & the job....then go with someone else.
