Republic had everything I went there to get, and confirmed my sizes, etc, before bringing out the item I needed. Asked a follow on question and that was courteously answered but with no availability of that kind of thing except for a custom creation. They know their stuff, and were very busy with 'trade' customers as well. Be sure you know what you need to get before going there

Complete bathroom gut and remodel. My contractor suggested Republic in Framingham, for the plumbing appliances and supplies. Working with the team was easy and made the overall experience excellent. So much so I will choose Republic for all my future needs. Thank you Republic!

If you are not a plumber don't even go there. Anybody can do a simple plumbing job but they refuse to help the regular young homeowner. Bad service.

Been buying at Republic a long time. Our contractor put us on to this plumbing supply store suggesting it carries the quality, tested products that professional plumbers rely upon. Keep in mind, there are 2 sides to the shop.

1) Retail side with a small showroom of bath and kitchen fixtures with good breadth of brand names.

2) Supply desk that caters primarily to pros, but will sell anyone the plumbing part they need. Particularly good for DIYs. Just be willing to wait, recognize this is not a big box store, and in the end these guys know what they are talking about. My experience this week buying a large HWH and several toilets from Brian was excellent. Most informative, willing to help me. The purchasing system is still in triplicate, but no worries. A little patience will get you great product at reasonable prices. Pull around the back to the loading dock and friendly faces will help you.

Actually, it should be minus one star.

I was very annoyed by the condescending tone and impatient attitude of the sales rep who gave me 15 minutes of help in finding what I wanted after I waited for more than 1.5 hours. There were two sales reps. One looked busy typing and didn't say anything when he saw me walk around and around. The other was with a customer. I waited for an hour or so before anyone told me someone would be with me. I have never received friendly service in this Framingham store except once when the sales rep Neil helped me. He is not there anymore, but after seeing so many good reviews on this website, I gave it another chance. What a mistake!

The next day, I, the same old Asian woman wearing the same clothes, went to Ferguson Plumbing in Newton. The difference is like night and day. The receptionist got up and greeted me as soon as I walked in and found me a sales rep, who walked over to introduce himself and shook my hand then efficiently found and ordered what I wanted after I showed him the same pictures and asked the same questions. I only spent 20 minutes there and received all parts at home before 8:30 the next morning. Even better is that I don't have to buy the whole set and only buy the parts I need.

Suggestion: Have Neil come back to teach the current sales reps basic etiquette for salesmen.

I was trying to repair a leaking body jet and as a woman with little knowledge of plumbing, I was absolutely thrilled to be helped by Donnie Marino at Republic Plumbing in Framingham. He was incredibly patient helping me figure out what part needed replacing and then even gave me advice on warranty and how to repair it. I am very grateful for the time spent, but mostly for his patience in explaining and then helping solve the problem! I am really glad thai I purchased my products from Republic because of my excellent experience with customer service! Thank you Donnie!

We went to Republic Plumbing and met with Dave Parido. I can't believe what great service we received. We bought all of our fixtures: toilets, sinks, faucets, you name it. What makes Dave stand out is that he came to our new construction site and we had a vanity installed in our powder room, he took one look at it and said that the toilet wasn't going to fit! He was the ONLY one out of our contractors that figured this out! We had to have the vanity cut down so that this bathroom would work. How amazing is that? If you want a full 100% wonderful experience go see Dave and listen to what he says. He did not steer us wrong on any products and was honest which we truly loved. I love all the products we bought and they work exactly the way he said they would. Dave didn't steer us to more expensive products just to make a commission, he truly cares about the customer and the experience.

Thank you Dave for making our bathroom work and our whole house comfortable!
