I have to admit, I was at first skeptical because my opinion of plumbers is that they've got you as a captive customer since you're pretty much willing to pay for plumbing issues to go away. However, Chris is a different kind of plumber - the honest, straightforward, knowledgeable, patient kind! He started his diagnosis via Yelp messages and came out immediately to do a consultation. He then sent a quote within a couple of hours, and after approving, he came out to work the next day. Such efficiency! He finished in the time he told me he would, and after he left, I texted him with a question to which he immediately called me back with an answer. He even came by the next day to help fix my next issue. All I will say is that in the last 2.5 years, I've dealt with five different plumbers. One was great at ""guessing"" the issue and providing misdiagnoses, one was great at scaring me with potential issues, one was efficient but didn't want to do more work, one was incompetent, you name it. You can say that I've had my fair share of experiences with plumbers in the area, and Chris tops them all with how well rounded, responsive, and honest he is. Don't look further; give him a call or text via Yelp. I will continue to go back to Chris for all my plumbing needs going forward.

I had a leak underneath the kitchen sink that I couldn't figure out. All the other plumbers I reached out to wanted to stop by for a ""free"" consultation. I asked Christopher from Republic Plumbing if I can send him a video of the leak and to quote me. He agreed and quoted me without wasting his and my time. Christopher was reliable, responsive and very helpful! I had a garbage disposal leak and needed a seismic shut off valve added to my main gas line. He was able to provide me with an estimate that was competitive and came out the next day and repaired everything on the spot. My toilet was constantly filling and there was an issue with the filling mechanism. Plumber came by during the time he stated he would, and then managed to quickly change out the unit in minutes and then clean everything up. Everything is working perfectly now. So I had a plumber come out to install a new shower/tub faucet in July. I noticed that the pvc pipe beneath the tub was now leaking so as I was trying to fix it, I noticed I had a pinhole leak in my copper pipes.

I had used angel plumbing for the tub and called him back so he could fix the new leak I found and the leak from his previous installation. He was not available that day so a friend recommended Chris at Republic saying he did a really great job for him.

So I called Chris. He quoted me a much better price and was available the same day. So not only was he super efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable - he fixed both leaks and said it wasn't as complicated as he thought so he further reduced the quote - so for half what I was quoted by the first guy I called - I got both leaks repaired. I could not be happier!

And, though this has nothing to do with plumbing, my dogs liked him, and my dogs are pretty picky.
