I shopped for weeks to find a good reliable plumber. Jim is very honest and really wants the best for your project. I had many plumbers give me outrageous bids and try to take advantage of me. It's very hard when you're a single woman, and not familiar with the questions to ask or really know what the truth is. Jim will explain everything and you can tell he has a passion for what he does. Not only would you get a good plumber, you'll get a very honest one. Which now a days doesn't happen very often.

I called another company and they came out and gave me a ridiculously inflated estimate, while they attempted to re-work the pricing, I got a hold of Jim and he gave me a fair price and came out to fix my hot water heater that day. Jim stayed late to make sure that I would be taken care of and didn't have to take another cold shower! Jim is very knowledgeable, kind and clearly puts a lot of hard work and care into what he does. Jim at Republic has handled several plumbing repairs and installations around my house. I always felt as though I was their most important client, every time he came to my house. Prices were reasonable, work was super.

He even fixed things that were not strictly necessary to the repair in question, but that the plumber before had done incorrectly. He asked me first and explained the consequences of leaving it as it was. I felt like he was doing things the way hewould want them done at his own house. All this and still at a very fair price.
