My elderly mother was told that she needed her whole unit replaced and there was no Freon in it and was going to charge $1200 to charge it up or to replace it for 10,000. She called a new company and they came out and said there was a pinhole leak and that it still had 3/4 of a tank of Freon. They charged her $150 to service it and get it in perfect working order. Please beware of this company they are huge scam.

I just canceled my subscription. The technician bolted the door shut to my filter and want to charge me $109.00 to come out and take the bolt off so I can replace my filter!
I have been a customer for years, and I now see how they handle their mistakes. Time to give another company my business.

Jose V was my technician. He ultimately got the job done. He was not the friendliest and was confrontational a couple of times. He also threw in $189 maintenance package on the price that I did not realize that he had done. He did not tell me about it. Can you say fraud?! I did not even realize it until I called their office to complain about Jose V and how expensive their service was. I know prices have gone up because of Covid but I thought their price was extreme and I was correct! One of the reasons also that I called was because I also had not received their digital email receipt yet. She then broke down what I paid for and informed me about the maintenance program which I knew nothing about! Unbelievable! No wonder Jose did not send it to me.
I talked to another HVAC company the next day and they said that their company was not the cheapest nor the most expensive but that republic way overcharged me. Jose showed me three different prices on an ipad he kept in his hands. The prices were for additional extra services. Which I refused. The third price was what I paid. That is the one where he fraudulently put in the maintenance program and I did not realize it. It should not have included the maintenance program that should've been another price to show me but he did not do so.
On their website they have all five star reviews. But you can't add one there... I wonder why?!

Completely unprofessional. charged for an inspection, then the second guy came and was a disrespectful jerk. Never answered any questions, said he didnt care what we wanted and made no difference to him. Total tool. the first guy was at least nice and respectful.

My air inside the home was unbearable. It went out yesterday and I knew I would not make it another day in Texas heat. Customer service was outstanding on the phone and in person. The technician Jose arrived within the window as quoted and he provided top quality services as well. The price quote and timeframe for service completion was as stated. I was not thrilled about the price, but everything else made it worthwhile.

My blower motor went out under warranty so I called to have it replaced. The technician did a great job removing the motor and replacing it with a new one , however the price the company charged for this job was outrageous . $650 labor for 45 minutes of work is insane . They replaced my cooling coil last year under warranty which took 2 technicians half a day and my bill for that was much less than this job that's why I called them back thinking it would have been a reasonable price. For this reason they have now lost my business for any future repairs .

Republic Heating and Air (972) 617-4822 has always kept my HVAC! system running up to par for a very affordable price. And when my thermostat died in this December 2018 they came out the same day a replaced it before the house even had time to get cold. Thank you !

I am extremely disappointed with this company. I really wanted to like them because the tech was very nice and professional, but he pretty much told me that there was no way to get the part for the age of my furnace. I got two other quotes and the third company found the part right away. He wanted to replace my whole system for $9k yet here I am only spending $700 for a part he didn't even try looking for.
