Janet P.We are VERY pleased with our whole experience with Repipe Specialists. We (family members) had been discussing getting the galvanized pipe replaced (late 60s era,1800 sq ft, 2 bath, tract home) were already familiar with PEX, and did some research online. The estimator was clear, had material samples, answered all of my questions, offered suggestions, and pointed out that the code upgrades would be included. There were no high pressure tactics used. Making an appt was also easy. At the arranged repipe date the sub-contractor arrived on time, While his crew (all licensed ) was laying tarps to keep the floors clean as they went in and out, the owner/lead discussed the options on the work to be done with us, took the rough in valves and trims we had already purchased, and they all dug right into the project. When the job was completed they did a great job of cleaning up. We did chat with the sub-contractor who said he was happy to partner with Repipe Specialists- that it kept his SMALL LOCAL BUSINESS busy doing what they do best - plumbing- without having to hire someone to promote the business and chase down leads.
The BEST part was getting up this morning and turning on the hot water in the sink which warmed right up within 15 seconds - instead of 3 minutes!!!! Ditto the shower! Thank You!
Mike G.The Repipe Specialists did a great job, explained our options and completed the job quickly and on-time. And best of all - no more pipe leaks!
Lila L.An outstanding job at an outstanding price. Very satisfied with both the plumbing and the customer service with this company. They put some extra work into our house (bathroom shower wall was half inch concrete and required specialists to come in; they moved the hose bib twice at my request) but no extra charges.
I would use them again.
Repipe just finished our house. Price was around $9000.00. 1.25 bath. 1636sq ft house. Will keep you posted if any leaks or problems. One thing to note, they sub contract out, they do not have their own crew. The business is located in California.
Karli K.These guys just walked out my door after finishing the job.
I don't understand the other review that claimed they wouldn't share the costs. When the estimated came to our house he explained the costs of all materials and labor. He even let us know where we could save money if we wanted(for example buying a valve ourselves for our shower)
The estimator was very kind, professional, thorough, and not the least bit pushy. If you can, ask for John to do your estimate. We also found the price to me very reasonable and were actually expecting thousands more.
The crew that came out were outstanding. What a great group of guys. They are fast, efficient, kind, polite, and do excellent work.
I'd recommend them to anyone needing a repipe. It feels so good to not be afraid to use our water.
I had original galvanized pipe, very low water pressure, one water item at a time in my house, and at times yellow ice cubes. I thought I had to live with it, no idea I could re-pipe my house, then I heard about Re-Pipe Specialists thru a plumber I talked to on the phone.
The Re-Pipe salesman came to my house, listen to me complain about my water issues, he took a pressure measurement, walked thru my house to see my bath/kitchen/laundry areas. Then he explained what he can do to fix my issues, had samples of shut-offs, pex pipe & connectors. He took a few minutes to write up a quote, one to re-pipe the house & the other for the main line to the house. It included an additional outside faucet & moving the shower head in the second bath. He answered our questions, let us discuss it a bit. Our re-pipe was scheduled the next Monday for 8-8:30am.
The work crew arrived before 8am on Mon, introduced themselves, did a walk thru the house & got right to work. 2 guys in the house one under the house in the crawl space, yuk! At 4:30pm they were all cleaned up & done. I was given a walk thru & explained what was done in each room. I now have clean water and a ton of pressure! Plus, a laundry area ready for utility sink :)
It has been 2.5 weeks since my re-pipe & I love my water pressure! I can have many water items running at the same time now! My ice cubes are clear! I can run a sprinkler in the front yard and also in my backyard at the same time! I should of had this done years ago!
If you can relate to my situation, I definitely recommend Re-Pipe Specialists!
Thank you Re-Pipe Specialists!! Life is good! :)

I moved into my older house knowing I was going to have to have the pipes redone at some point...and shortly after I moved in I started noticing the rusty color water more and more often. Just as I was starting to research who to contact about this major job, a professional colleague happened to mention that he'd had Repipe Specialists perform a similar job at his house and they had been quick, meticulous and cleaned everything up when they had completed the work. He gave me a referral coupon in case I wanted to go with this company. I did check around a little and while I believe that I got a good deal financially speaking, more importantly after meeting with Jeff and seeing how incredibly prepared he was to help me understand what the job would entail, what I could expect and what options I would have, I was very impressed and felt immediately confident that working with Repipe Specialists was going to be the right choice. And it was. Jeff was communicative through the planning process with me. The project team from Advanced Plumbing was courteous, efficient and competent....as well as friendly and helpful. The job was completed inside of 2 days and everything turned out perfectly well, just as I'd understood it would. These days when customer service seems to be a dying art, I have to say that this experience was really refreshing. I'm most appreciative and would recommend them to anyone needing help with pipe replacement. That's what they do and they do it very well.
They did a good job repiping part of my house. I will have them back when I am ready to redo the rest. Everyone was courteous and friendly.
I have some water pressure issue due to old pipes. I have a very simple 40ft run of pipe. with four vertical connections. I was at the home garden and remodel show. these folks had a special. I had them come and do a bid. Nice fellow came but didn't bother to see under the house (not a surprise) the bid was a little high but as I discussed it with my wife for a week we got a call. I expressed the issue of cost and asked for a break down for labor and materials (a very common request). I was phoned by a very aggressive and frankly rude person who indicated that it was basically none of my business what the cost was. My house my business so I bed to differ.
So now lets set the record straight. They charge a very high labor rate and are simply afraid to admit it. Which is rather funny as I had great confidence in the company with the sales pitch and the demeanor of the other two folks I spoke with until this nasty women called me. I accepted that the labor rate was high and I was simply curious how high it was. (for the record I our family van to a specialist to work on, they charge more but do the job well and fast)
Would I have had them do the work? As I told them, money is tight and I am waiting on my tax return. So why try to pressure me? Think of this, they had a sale at the show. When she called me she offered another sale price. So if your work is good and your price is fair why the need to discount and be so aggressive and why the need to hide your costs. In a down economy you would think a little more accommodation would be present a little customer service. So I will post here, on Google and on Angies list to make sure every one knows just what sort of folks your giving money to. If your pipes have a problem shop around a bit and you will find a better price with nicer people than these. If your not worried about the money I am sure they will do an adequate job. Of course, they won't remove old pipes and they will drill through your walls and floor boards to avoid proper removal of the old pipes. So beware if you have hardwood floors and ever plan to remodel after these people come through. In the end I say stay away from these folks.
We had our water lines replaced in May 2012 by Repipe Specialists of Oregon, and we could not be more pleased. From their sales rep to the work crew leader to the workers to the patch worker, all were very professional. They showed up on time, knew what to do, and used every minute to get the job done. They completed the plumbing work on our 1938 Portland home in a day and a half, and cleaned up after very well. The wall and ceiling patching was done on schedule in less than a day, and turned out better than I expected.
