We were having our kitchen remolded so we decided to get our copper pipes replaced with pex, The estimator arrived right on time, was very friendly and explained how the re-pipe would happen, we decided to have repipe specialist patch the holes since I have no experience with drywall, the estimator said he thought there would be about 25 holes to patch so he gave me a quote for that number, when they were done there ended up being 12 holes to patch and not 25 so I feel the estimate was way too high, other than that they did a great job replacing the pipes the crew was very friendly and they were very efficient, I would highly recommend them for repiping.

After our main water line broke, I called for three estimates, as I do with any work in my home. Re-Pipe Specialists came out for an estimate on time, with samples of PEX piping, and information for me to read through. The representative they sent out was incredibly knowledgeable, polite, friendly, I can't say enough good about him. Of course I'm not knowledgeable about pipes; he made sure to explain things but I didn't feel dumb about it. I actually learned a lot. The price he quoted me was completely affordable.

Fast forward to yesterday, when the crew showed up to get to work. There were a number of guys who patiently waited as I cornered all five cats to get them into one room for safety. They laid down sheets all over the house so the floors would stay clean and did a walk through inspection and explained everything in great detail. The personalities of these guys were awesome. They're from ProDrain, the company subcontracted by Re-Pipe Specialists. I felt comfortable with them being in my home while I was at work all day. They were confident, friendly, and just the nicest guys.

I came home from work and there were no work trucks outside of my home. I walked inside, and my home was silent. No more water leak sounds, no more dripping faucets. I double checked everything - above and beyond work. I think they actually left our garage bathroom cleaner than it was when they got here? Our tap water is drinkable straight from the tap. Our water pressure is amazing. The bathroom shower is amazing!!! There was zero, zero mess left behind. And the pipes are professionally put in place - the job passed inspection today. They literally re-piped our entire home in a work day.

They even watered my daphne plants before they left. Come on!!!! It does not get better than this. The great, positive attitude, the great customer service, totally reasonable price, and the exceptional job... I am beyond happy with my experience.

Two months in and I am taking the time to write the review. The job was done just okay. The fridge hookup they left me with is 3/16th, which isn't standard at all so now I have to walk up and down the aisle at the hardware store looking for a conversion. The back hose fitting has some issues since it looks like they ran 1/2 inch instead of 1 inch so the hose sputters. They knocked a couple of drains loose that also caused problems.

Overall, they got the job done but these guys really need their own QA team to review the jobs afterwards. For what we're paying (10-20% higher than hiring a plumber) they should, at the very least, send a follow-up guy out to review any issues related to the project.

Oh, and the sales guy said hot water will come out the faucets ""instantly"". That turned out to be total crap.

Had Repipe Specialist repipe my house last month and am very happy with the job they did. The salesman was on time, walked me through the options and answered all of my questions. Within a few days the job was scheduled to be done in a few weeks. The crew from True Blue showed up on time, walked me through the job and got to work. They were very professional, clean, and I couldn't have been more happier with the job they did. Since the job was done I did have a few follow up questions that were answered and addressed immediately. Overall, very professional with great communication.

The salesperson for Repipe Specialists was on time for our appointment to the minute. He took his time and explained everything that would need to be done to bring the house up to code. He tested the water pressure and found that it was way over what it should be. I was lucky my pipes hadn't already burst! He gave me discounts associated with the Home and Garden Show, and discounted his bid further to be more competitive with the plumber who, in the course of doing a job for me, alerted me that my pipes were substandard. (We did the research and found he was right. Insurance wouldn't cover a leak or break from these--now--substandard pipes.)
The job was contracted out to Davis Plumbing, which I didn't realize was going to happen, but a friend had used Davis Plumbing and really liked them. They showed up with a team of 4 at 8:00 am sharp and did the job in one day. (Because I'd had a washing machine hose accident, much of the ceiling had already been opened to dry out the subfloor.)
They had to put a new plate on the shower in order to make a hole big enough to do their work. They didn't have a plate with the brushed nickel finish I had, so they switched out the shower fixtures including the shower head at no extra cost!
They also moved the washing machine valves up where we could now reach them and replaced the box where the refrigerator hose attaches. There was some reluctance to reattach the washing machine and they refused to do the dryer (a condenser dryer, so it's different.) They also refused to take the garbage because the dump no longer accepts piping. However, on a return visit to fix various problems, one of the crew took the bag. They also switched out the refrigerator piping from plastic to metal. to lessen the possibility of future leaks. And replaced an outdoor faucet head which had a problem. (They replaced all the outdoor faucets as well.) I had a drip coming from the bathtub cold water faucet, which they determined was unrelated to the repiping (it would have leaked constantly if it was from the repipe), which they fixed for a modest charge.
They work long hours to complete their jobs Monday - Thursday to leave Friday for any unforeseen problems.
All in all, I was very satisfied with their work. They were very responsive to my questions and came back to tweak their work right away.

We knew the water pressure and flow in our house was not what it should be. The Repipe estimator confirmed all of this and being an older home our hot water system was not up to code. They explained exactly what needed to be done and we moved forward. They did a fantastic job, brought our entire house up to code, and finished the work slightly ahead of schedule. The difference is outstanding. Good pressure, great water flow, and almost instantaneous hot water. Something we used to wait a long time for!
What a peace of mind.

I had recently noticed that the hot water pressure in my house was awful, and that it took forever to get hot water out of the faucets, especially the bathtub. I had 42 year old galvanized pipes and they were corroding and needed to be replaced. I got three estimates and Repipe Specialists was my middle bid. They did a terrific job replacing my pipes, all the way out to the street, and boring a hole thru my crawlspace wall to get into the house. They did the job in one day and now I have fast flowing hot water all over the house, with a wonderful new shower head, outside faucets that don't need insulation in the winter, and all pipes insulated. I have an 11 unit apartment building located in SW Portland (near the downtown area). It was built around 1910. I was having problems with debris in the old water pipes collecting and clogging faucets and shower heads resulting is very low water pressure. So I contacted Repipe Specialists. I met with Jon from Repipe and gave him a tour of the building. He wrote up an estimate and we scheduled the work to begin in December. Since this was a large job it was scheduled to complete in two weeks. The workers arrived every day around 8:00 AM as scheduled. They managed to run all the pex throughout the building before connecting the new pex to the water line. This meant the tenants only had to deal with water shut off for two days (water was always turned on at the end of the day). The plumbers were very good at showing me some of the difficult areas where they had to use some clever work arounds. The work completed two days early and the tenants are very happy with the results as am I.

Things seem pretty good, the salesman wasn't a pushy jerk and the price seemed right. The problem came when we found out the salesman didn't disclose all the information. He inferred that all work would be done in-house. At no time did he say his company's subcontracted to other plumbing companies. Throughout his sales pitch, he continually badmouthed plumbers because they didn't do the job right. It was always we do it this way they do it that way.
Today I received a phone call from some plumbing company that I had never heard of wanting to schedule the repipe. I've never heard of these people and told them that we were already doing it with repipe Specialists of Oregon. I was then informed that's who they are working for.
I know it may seem like a minor point (and so does repipe specialists. In fact one""customer service rep"" flat out told me he didn't understand my problem) but it made me want to know what else the salesman didn't reveal. This only makes me wonder what else the salesman did not reveal.

It is minor, but all he had to do was tell me that they're going to subcontract the job.
The long and short of it is they ended up canceling the job because they felt I could never be satisfied and I am now scrambling to find somebody to repipe my house in the same time frame as the rest of the construction.

They were so easy to work with, from the estimate, to scheduling, to repiping, to sheet rock patching (which only took one day), the whole process was easy and transparent. Great work by great people!
