Not happy with these people. Too bad I can't give a negative star. After spending thousands with them to re-pipe our house, I called 11 months later to have them come out to fix a leaking pressure valve they installed. Some idiot on the phone told me they didn't install the pressure relief valve, and it's not their responsibility. That's interesting, because the pipe the pressure relief valve is attached to was installed by them. They just deny responsibility for everything.

According to Repipe Specialists, after 2 months past the installation date, they will charge you a $125 service fee to come out. I paid the $125, the plumber replaced the bad valve, and I called the office to get a refund since the pressure valve that they installed was defective. They refused to refund the $125 service fee unless a signed a paper acknowledging that they did not install the pressure relief valve originally. They did install the valve, so I won't sign a paper stating they didn't install the valave. I don't know what kind of head games these people are playing, but I urge everyone reading this to have another company do your re-pipe work. I wish I had read the other comments on Yelp before hiring Repipe Specialists. They do not have a lot of happy customers. They just have a bad attitude.

My husband and I had a really good experience with this company.
They did the job exactly the way it was described, on time and the cost was really fair.
I would recommend Repipe Specialists without hesitation.

This company was extremely professional. The repipe was done in a day. We had original pipes, circa the 60's. Water pressure was horrible. We now have great pressure. The team was very nice, answered all questions, cleaned up after themselves. No mess left behind. Would recommend them to anyone. Super job!

We had a very good experience with Repipe Specialists. They really did repipe our entire house with copper pipes and install a new water heater in one day. Our pipes were original and the house was built in the 1948 They discovered our drain pipes needed replacing as well. We somewhat expected it so we decided to have them done as well. They completed that job in one day. I think we got lucky with the inspector as he came out that afternoon and passed the project. The inspector also complemented their work. The next day one person showed up to do the patching. He did a great job. Everyone we contacted from Repipe Specialists was very professional, and clearly took pride in their work. They explained things very clearly from beginning to end. The written materials they give you when you get the estimate are superb. Very clear and thorough. John Oscarson was our sales person/estimator; Ed was the crew leader and Gorgis did the patching. Everything was cleaned up when they left. It's been a bout 10 days and no leaks or problems of any kind. Oh, did I mention, their price was also the lowest of 4 estimates we got. The only small thing I could recommend is calling us a day or two before the start day to confirm time of arrival. Not really a problem though, we called Telma in the office and she knew everything about scheduling.

I researched repiping our house for months. I called only local plumbers and got a variety of quotes. Everyone who quoted us gave us their take on how to repipe a very difficult house. Our house is on slab with pipes in the slab. I insisted that all pipes be in the walls and not on the roof or over windows (we have no attic, vaulted ceilings throughout the house). The sales rep. (sorry I can't remember his name) was very professional and helpful. He listened to my concerns and made recommendations. He understood that our home was not going to be easy and said he had a crew that could handle the job.

The job was scheduled. The workers showed up on time and worked HARD for the entire day. True to their word they repiped the house in one day. The next day the drywall and stucco team came out and did an excellent job matching texture and stucco. I understood it would not be perfect, but their job was top notch.

It's been 4 months and we've had a couple of minor problems. Both the sales representative and Steve (plumber) have very responsive.

Oh and their price was amongst the lowest we got. I can't recommend them enough.

We had a GREAT experience from beginning to end. I dreaded getting our re-piping done (but our pipes were 60+ years old) because we had just finished with a window project and I had dealt with 5 contractors - I wanted to do my due diligence. I really dreaded going through that many re-piping contractors, but when Raphael and his partner shared the process and the product with us, I was really impressed and tempted to just go with them and not get any other bids. No only did they really know their stuff, they were not pushy and I really appreciated that - BUT, when I saw the bid I knew I was going to have them do the job. As it is very important to everyone, they gave us a great price with a very detailed, clear contract. The price was almost half of a bid we had gotten from someone else a few years back. I was almost worried that it was too good to be true but the entire process went well every step of the way. Cynthia, one of the office staff, took care of scheduling inspections and keeping us informed every step of the way. The workers were all wonderful, everyone seemed to have a specific job and they all did it well. It was really a smooth running operation and we even added a couple of tasks for them once we saw what great work they did. We were very happy with the results of the extra work too. At the end of the job, they left our house cleaner that when they started. They had covered everything anywhere near the areas where they worked, and afterwards, to ensure all was clean, they swept and vacuumed. Once we painted where they repaired what they had to install the new pipping, you couldn't even tell there was ever a repair.
Everyone was nice and polite and just took care of business. I thought maybe it would take two days but all was done under 8 hours. I can honestly say I wouldn't do anything different, if you are looking to re-pipe your home, I don't think you will be disappointed at all with Repipe-Specialists!

Repipe Specialists is a broker and subcontracts out its jobs. We had heard horror stories about how crews come in on a one day repipe and just start tearing into the ceilings. We were very lucky to get OC Repipes. Andy, the owner, walked the job prior to any of his crew starting demo. He determined that the best method of doing our job was to run the plumbing through the attic and then down through the walls. He explained what they were going to do in terms that we could easily understand and approve. Because Andy took this extra step, we had very few openings cut into our walls and none into the ceilings. He even came up with a solution for our kitchen island which did not require cutting into the tile. We were worried about that because the pipes come through the slab.
The crew started by hanging plastic to protect our cabinets and putting coverings on our floors. They even put up plastic to separate our living room to protect the furniture there. The crew worked hard all day and called for the first inspection on the morning of the second day. The inspector was impressed with the ability of the crew to do the repipe without all the destruction he usually sees on these jobs. After inspection, the crew patched all the cuts they did have to make. The final step was the texture coat, and once again Andy and his crew went above and beyond to try to match the texture that was there. We are highly impressed with Andy and his crew at OC Repipe and would recommend them.

I'm very happy with the re-pipe work done. Water flows so much better its like night and day. My scheduler set it up, kept in contact with me before the work was started and after that, was when it went off the rails a bit. The communication afterwards was a bit poor, I received a call the day before telling me they had to switch me to another day, mind you as a working person I can't just drop what I'm doing and schedule another 2-3 days to deal with a re-pipe. We worked it out for them to come as scheduled but it took almost a week to get the job finished. This is where the communication prep should have been tighter. It takes a day to re-pipe, but then the city has to come in, that was a cluster, they (the city) didn't approve the work the first time, we then had to schedule another day for the fixes to be done and then wait for the city to come out again, then another day for the re-pipe team to come back and patch the holes, so my house was open for almost a week, we had to temporarily seal the holes up until the work was done. This last part was the most frustrating. All in all, I highly recommend re-pipe specialist, just be sure to ask questions about the after they come in process so you can prepare.

We are very pleased with the results. We completely repiped and replaced our water heater a few weeks ago, and so far everything is running nicely. All around excellent and fast service. These guys knew their stuff, explained everything from start to finish and we couldn't be happier with the quality and service. Amazing drywall repair work too! We'd highly recommend!
Happy customers! Covina, CA

I will keep this brief. The subcontractors that Repipe Specialists hired to re-pipe my house were very good. Although they discarded all of the old pipes underneath my house and didn't take them and dispose of them properly.
A tankless water heater was installed and it began leaking. I called Repipe Specialists and they gave me a very hard time. In order for them to send someone out to take a look, they required a prepayment of $150.00. They sent out another sub-contractor, Steve Lovell of Lam Plumbing whose license has been expired since 2011. (I just found out about the license being expired recently).
Steve looked at the unit and said it was not leaking although the leak marks are still on the pipes. The unit needed annual preventative maintenance which Steve agreed and scheduled to do. HE NEVER SHOWED UP OR RETURNED ANY OF MY PHONE CALLS ASKING TO RESCHEDULE. Steve Lovell, in my experience with him, is completely unprofessional, unreliable, and lied about the heater not having a leak.
I contacted Noritz (the tankless heater company) and had a Noritz approved plumber come out and take a look. He confirmed the heater did indeed have a leak, and also said the black iron pipes that were used on my unit are for indoor use not exterior. He provided me with a photo of what the pipes should be.
In the meantime, Repipe Specialists will not refund my $150.00.
TOTAL RIP OFF!!
