I live in a very old house, which has many charms but also many problems. Recently, and out of nowhere, we started having some serious issues with our water pressure. I know absolutely nothing about plumbing, so I decided to call in an expert. I called re-pipe specialists, the guy I talked to was super-nice and he was able to send someone out to look at the issue right away. They explained the problems to me and got right to work. Within a couple days everything was fixed, it was totally affordable and I haven't had any issues since. In fact, they even left our basement cleaner than they had found it. These guys are total pros and I would recommend them to anyone!

A happy ending thanks to Repipe Specialists of San Jose. My landlord knocked on the door to personally deliver the message: he was re-piping the entire duplex and there would be no water for up to a week. Sure enough, two days later we had no water and his so-called 'contractor' friend had been there for an hour, ripped out a section of exterior wall and then disappeared. Well, I jumped in and I called Repipe Specialists of San Jose. A guy was there before the sun went down to describe what the next steps should be to my landlord, along with breaking down the affordable costs involved. The landlord seized the solution to all his problems. Next day a Repipe crew arrived and finished the project way under a week. It turns out Repipe Specialists of San Jose saved him money. Nice going guys.

My neighbor used Repipe Specialists and recommended them. He's a tough one to impress and he said they were pretty good. I had a couple companies come out for a bid, and they were all competitive even though Repipe was the lowest. Plus their salesman Randy did a great job telling me how they were going to do everything and answered all my questions. We set a date and they were on time, and did the whole house in one day, as promised. I wasn't sure if they were gonna make it but they stayed late and got it done. The inspector came out the next day and everything was done right. I must say I was surprised how clean they were the whole time. They covered our furniture and were respectful. I'd say check them out, you won't go far wrong. We are happy to have all our plumbing problems gone.

I do construction for a living, so I tried to repipe my home myself. It turned out to be a lot more complicated than I thought. I ripped out all the old pipes myself and gave Repipe Specialists the job of installing new pipes. I thought their salesman Mike was very professional. He was able to answer any questions I had, which is why I went with them.

Since half the job was already done, I got a very good deal. They came out with a big work crew with a foreman who oversaw the entire job. They were quick and clean and did a fantastic job. If you're looking for a company that specializes in repiping these are the guys to go with.

I have a lot of custom carpentry and bookcases and shelves. And a number of my walls have beautiful murals on them hand-painted by my wife's brother. When we had two pipes start leaking under the house, we knew we finally needed a repipe, but I didn't think it was going to be possible without destroying some of the custom work inside the house. I must say, though, that the crew from Repipe Specialists figured out ways to get around the carpentry and murals, and make the smallest cuts possible. I was really impressed.At one point during the repipe, the crew found out that they couldn't go through a particular wall, and took the time to figure out a few different options, and then present them all to me. They didn't just do it the easiest way; they gave me the choice. And I went with one which I think gave them a touch more difficulty, but they did it no problem, and with no bad attitude. I really appreciated that. The job is done now and we have no more leaks, and what is amazing is that everything looks as it did, like nothing was done at all. If you have a tricky house, I would highly recommend this crew.

After I found five repipe companies on the Google search and interviewed them all, I finally selected Repipe Specialties. This company made excellent sales presentation, plus gave me a well prepared sales folder which contained all the info I needed to know, such as, material quality, license, insurance, lifetime warranty, BBB record, etc.
The repipe team was excellent as well. They were here on time with a 5-6 members. The foreman was very knowledgable. They finished the repipe in one day! They covered all the walk way plus plastic covered any areas may get the dust. They did the repipe efficiently and cleaned up after the work was done. The patching team did a great job too! Their office coordinated smoothly with the city inspector and patching team quickly. The whole work finished in three days. All in all, I am really pleased with their work. I have no problem to recommend Repipe Specialties Inc. to anybody!!

I am updating after my recent experience with Repipe. They have responded pretty actively since the long weekend &have been pretty active with in communicating progress

i have increased my star rating to 3 since i feel as a company they are ok. one thing you might want to do when working with them to ask pro actively about the timing of every work & turn around.I see that if they promise something they keep it up

1 star for the outsources plumbing guys who came & did a great job.

-3 for exposing our backyard for 4 day s & still counting to find out when the inspection is & when we will get patched.

Randy the estimator convinced us they were the best & not regular handy mans. They are super professional who lay the pipe in 1 day the next day the inspection will happen & then the same day or the next patching & covering will be completed.

Even when we booked the appointment we were not informed of a delay in closing out the dug portion & patch work on exposed walls.

The re piping work was awesome all credit to the outsourced plumbing company. They are the most efficient bunch of workers i have ever seen, they did finish in one day & cleaned up behind them without even a trace they worked in a close to 2000 sq ft house. i will go over to their site to give them a five star rating, if they are in yelp.

After the great work from them is when our ordeal started, no call or information on when the inspector will come, i call them in the morning & i am promised a call back but did not get any, then i call in the after noon to hear the shocking news from their front office that inspection is not until 5 days.

My back yard has almost 30 ft long 2 - 3 ft deep trench, my passage to the bed room have a bid portion of the wall cut with a elect panel exposed & my bedroom wall has about 3 big openings( i am not mentioned the basement area cos we do not access it much]. All this i have keep my 4 yr old son away & safe from.

I'm very pleased with the work done by Repipe Specialists Inc. My Sales guy was Randy , he worked with my agent and gave competitive quote. His quote had detail work description. Even when I was on vacation I was able to understand the work order and approved it over the phone. Berenice from back-office was very prompt in scheduling city inspector's visit to fit with my tenant's availability. She kept me posted with progress of work. I highly recommend this company for Repipe work .

The estimate and repiping job was performed very effectively. The crew worked hard and carefully and in general did a very good job, working late into the night to finish the work. Based on this, I would have given them a very high rating.

On the negative side, they are very slow to resolve problems. One problem was they replaced the water line from the street and the connection in front of the house was atrocious. The returned twice to finally get it done correctly. The last two remaining problems were the pipes make a terrible noise like a train coming through and the drain line is still plugged. (This is not normally a repipe activity, but I included it in the contract.) They have made three appointments that they have not kept. I am in the process of stopping payment on credit card in hopes of getting the job finished.

In summary if you use them, keep the final payment until at least a week after the work is complete as when the problems show up you will need it to get service.

We had our entire home repiped this month. Rusty pipes, and low water flow were the reason. I couldn't be more pleased with the price, quanlity of work and awesome crew who did the work.

The crew showed up on time and immediately starting placing plastic down over the carpet to product it. They cleaned up as they went along and finished earlier than projected.

When they left, I wouldn't have known they had been there, except for the open holes in the walls, needed so the city inspector could check the work they did. Actually, I knew they had been there because I finally had the water pressure and no more colored water when initially turning on the faucet! Sweet! What used to be a several minute wait for hot water in the kitchen has been reduced to less than a minute!

The city inspector was out a few days later, and once he approved the work, they guys were right there to patch up the holes.

I am a very happy customer and would not hesitate to recommend them to family and friends.
