Update! Emilio came and re-inspected the work. He verified that the work done through Repipe Masters was all correct. It was a former remodeler's work that was found to be inadequate. He was willing, too, to drop everything and fix this, even though it wasn't HIS crew's problem.
So--my update is not just ""I was wrong and these guys are still great..."" it is they are the Best. Ever.
Make sure everything is written down. We discussed permits at time of contract signing but on the day when I asked when inspector would come, I got blank states and was told it'll be extra. Pipe insulation was sloppy.
Brynnen B.It has taken me a long time to determine what to say about this company and our experience. This is long, but I feel it necessary to share. Our experience was mixed. We initially dealt with Nick who was very willing to complete the task. We all went over the project of repiping our house with pex. We explained what we wanted done and he then explained the process and what we needed to do. My husband and I felt we all understood each other. We liked the idea that it was a family business and we like supporting that, the reviews were very good and I find that a helpful when looking at people to hire for my house projects. We felt Nick was honest and straightforward. When we scheduled the project, Nick informed us that he would not be doing the work, his relative would, Nick had to go out of town. That's when things went down hill.
Four 10x10 holes were cut into our family room ceiling, which we were told about after the project started. Debris, wood, rocks, tile, nails and sheet rock were left for us to clean up. We have dogs and cats and this debris was strewn outside and in the house.
When we first discussed the project with Nick, he told us to purchase a plate to cover a hole that would be cut into our upstairs shower. The plate was about 10x10 in size. The hole ended up being about 18x12. The plate would not cover it and we were left with a huge hole in our existing shower. We ended up having to hire someone to retile our entire shower due to the damage and not being able to find the same tile to match what was already there. When we asked about repair work and clean up, we were told we would need to pay for it and because my husband helped with some of the work, he needed to clean up the debris. Now, to be fair, we asked them to put in a drain in the tub, which was not part of the bid and they did that, albeit reluctantly. My husband asked they put in a water manifold, which they did as well, for extra. I just want to point out, on their website it clearly says they will repair walls as part of the job as well as clean up. They were very happy to take the old copper piping away (there is $$ for that), however, they were unwilling to clean up the rest of the debris in our yard, patio, driveway and in the house.
For the amount of money we spent on this job (over 13k), yes our house was repiped, so I gave them 2 stars for completing the job. But the overall job was a big disappointment. We now have holes in our ceiling which will mean we have to repair the entire ceiling in our family room, we hired someone to retile the upstairs bathroom, my husband had to redo some of their work under our kitchen sink as well and we have had to clean up after their work.
I am very disappointed with the job. I had high hopes. But it was a very expensive and sour experience.
James L.Bait and switch?
Website clearly says they repair all sheetrock and clean up their mess. I have holes all over my house and a pile of debris on my porch. I did notice all the copper was removed, must have stopped by the recycler?
I hired a professional, payed professional prices, and am left with thousands more in repairs.
Totally regretting my decision to use them.
Had major work done by Nick and team in a Shoreline property (replaced main line, repiped internally, electric water heater replaced with outdoor tankless gas unit). Fast response, flexible scheduling, significantly lower price out of 6 quotes, honest, down-to-earth family business. Very highly recommended!
Linnea N.I had my home repiped with pex by repipe masters in November of 2020, and have had no issues with the pipes in the year since. The price was fair and it only took a day for the repipe crew to complete the job for my home (1600 square feet). Nick (the owner) is very friendly and easy to schedule with. I recently had an issue with the main water valve that turned out to be user error, and Nick graciously helped out with that.
I usually do not leave feed back unless it is outstanding or a scam. I am happy to say Repipe Masters is a fantastic company all around to deal with. I am a contractor myself and after 40 years running my site contracting business I kind of know something about quality work and professionalism. First the quote was quick and very completive, it was right around what I estimated to self perform the work which was much less than the other bids I got. The crew showed up on time. I was on my site working, my wife called in a big panic, she said 3 trucks and 6 guys showed up and are taking over the whole house. I came home to find Nick and his crew attacking the project which delighted me. Nick told me they were even down 2 men but would still get my 3,000 sq. foot home done in one day. They were very strategic about wall and ceiling penetrations and covered all the floors and carpets. They changed out a shower valve as an extra but did not gouge me on the price. They started at 8:30 and had the whole project as agreed finished cleaned up and down the road by 4:00. My professional option is if you are considering anything that will include repiping or any other service offered by this company, don't even bother looking elsewhere these are your guys, just book them.
Everything about the experience was amazing. I got three quotes and Repipe Masters where the lowest price(significantly), and they provided the most for their work including all of the repiping, wrapping cold and hot water pipes in the basement, I even saved money by having them install shower fittings I purchased. They did our house on a Monday after quoting the job on a Friday, since we had an active leak. The on-site team was amazing and very professional, they finished our entire home in 1 day. I highly recommend Repipe Masters, a local company that does high quality work at an honest price.
Professional establishment! Contacted Nick to repipe my home. Super friendly and responsive, and Doug came by next day. Quote was tailored to specific needs and was very competitively priced.
I ultimately didn't move ahead with the project, but would totally recommend repipe masters based on my interaction.
First off, hands down the best decision we made going with Nick and his crew. He was very patient with all of our questions and answered them promptly. They arrived as scheduled and performed everything we discussed to include our main line. We had water back on the same day.
They were very professional and respectful of our home. They covered all of the walkways and kept the dust down. Once completed, they patched all of the walls and even came back to make sure the patch jobs were finished correctly.
I would 100% recommend Repipe Masters to anyone. They undercut the competitions price and DO NOT sub out their work. Very reasonable for what we paid. Absolutely stellar service!
