We decided to use Repipe Home Hero to repipe our entire house after receiving several estimates from various companies. RHH was neither the most nor the least expensive bid, but the reviews on both Yelp and Google were excellent. I can confirm the five star reviews. The entire team is outstanding. They were always on-time, respectful, professional, clean, and performed at a very high level.
The repipe process is known to be the worst kind of hell a homeowner can experience. Every length of the old plastic (polybutylene) piping in our home needed to be stripped out and replaced with high-grade copper. This requires cutting large rectangular drywall openings in the ceilings, walls, and anywhere else needed to access the old pipes throughout the entire house. All of my neighbors who had already had leaks in their old 'poly-bute' and been through the process before warned me that it would be a hellish nightmare.
The Repipe Home Heroes made this much less traumatic than what I was expecting. They hung plastic from the ceilings very systematically in order to quarantine the messy process of cutting out the drywall and they laid plastic over the entire path they traveled by foot throughout the house. I work from home and it was impressive how respectful they were in keeping the noise to a minimum the best they could. I had a neighbor friend who worked as a plumber for years take a look at the finished pipe installation, before they guys replaced and repaired the cut drywall openings. My friend was blown away at the quality of the work performed. He said it was on a ""different level"". The owner, Stefan, and his son Simeon are some of the hardest working skilled tradesmen I've ever witnessed. The other member of their crew, Yosef, is equally impressive. They all worked quickly and expertly every day and often into the evening in order to complete the job ahead of schedule; making sure to leave at least one bathroom and shower 100% operational so that we did not have to stay in a hotel even a single night.
I'd read the reviews describing how this crew does such a perfect job repairing and texturing the replacement drywall and that the scars are invisible. I agree 100%. We had planned on repainting the ceilings where the crew had to cut in order to access the old pipes, but after the drywall repair job was completed it looked so perfect that we didn't have to re-paint. The RHH crew definitely have made it into an artform and I'm so glad that they didn't outsource the work to someone else. I'd challenge anyone to show me where the drywall repairs were made.
The Repipe Home Heroes also exhibited INTEGRITY. One morning, Simeon approached me with a sad look on his face and said that he would replace a valve/cartridge in one of the showers that they cut into because it was found damaged. He said that it most likely broke because it was so old and brittle, but there was a slight chance that it was their fault and they would take full responsibility with no charge. How refreshing! They could have lied and said that they found it broken or that it was too old and needed to be replaced no matter what. So that was a $550 job that they did not charge for due to their integrity.
The only thing I would include as a caution to potential customers is that these guys are not inexpensive when it comes to small repairs. It would be like using an orthopedic surgeon to give you a yearly physical. For example, I had them install a kitchen sink faucet and the labor cost more than the faucet itself. I also had them replace one of the other bathroom cartridges and it was $550. I called and got an estimate from someone else and that quote was $350. So RHH will not give you a good deal just because they are already onsite (I know Stefan will disagree with me on this one as he would not budge on the price and said it was a much better deal than he would normally give to an one-off service call), LOL.

That was a lot, so here is the summary:

I am very happy that I used Repipe Home Hero to repipe my home for the following reasons:

1) They are highly professional and skilled.
2) They are very polite and punctual.
3) Their craftsmanship and expertise is at the highest level.
4) They are honest and demonstrated that they operate with integrity.
5) They completed the job ahead of schedule.
6) They are considerate enough to make sure you have a functioning bathroom/shower at all times.
7) They stand behind their work (e.g. my wife did not like the faucet handle installation, so Stefan came out on the weekend and repositioned it).


FYI: I waited several months before writing this review in order to make sure all of the work held up. It has held up so far and I expect it will continue to function well for many decades. Cheers!

So glad I found this company. There aren't too many plumbers who will do a repipe. Or if they do, it will be very costly.

We had to reroute our pipes from the water heater to inside the house. The job took only one day. Stefan was very responsive. They were quick to schedule an estimate. They were also quick to get the job done. They showed up on time, and did a really nice job patching up the walls afterwards. You can't even tell that there were holes in the wall. They also do a good job cleaning up at the end. Prices are reasonable too.

After the job was done, we had a question about our water heater. Simon drove back to our house just to make sure that everything was okay. That is great customer service. Thank you Repipe Home Hero!

We chose Stefan based on his reviews, and we are very happy with the results. They were friendly, responsive, and worked quickly. They used plastic and drop cloths, were really good about clean up at the end of the day. They definitely went above and beyond the scope of the job. They were doing a repipe behind walls and in the attic, but they also took the time to caulk bathtub fixtures that needed it- totally unrelated to the repair- just to help us with mold down the line. Their drywall patching was immaculate. All around really nice guys. We can't recommend them highly enough.

Whole house repipe with City Permit and Inspection. A major project made minimally invasive by Repipe Home Hero Plumbing. My family and I stayed in our home during the entire process, only having the water turned off for 2 of 3 afternoons where we made accommodations to be out and about. Initially, Stefan excepted our reach for help having Simon come out for an estimate just a day later - only because I was at work that same day. Simon was very respectful representing his company professionally as he walked us through the initial process and answered all questions. Stefan ended up taking the lead on the project. Only small patches of drywall was removed as needed. Extensive plastic coverings were used to respect our home and belongings. Although we offered to move whatever was necessary, Stefan and Alex insisted on doing everything. They are on-time, diligent, knowledgeable, and detailed always sweeping up messes and keeping tools and equipment neat and in order. I believe Rudy and Erkov (forgive my spelling) helped on separate days. These gentleman also deserve mention as their work and respect should not go unmentioned. Finally, the morning after completion, we contacted Stefan with a concern for sounds in the wall. Stefan unexpectedly showed up a few hours later without hesitation. He was arrived with tools and ready to work. Luckily, nothing had to be done, but Stefan's commitment and reliability to good service is top notch. Granted, it was a pretty penny for the project, but we are happy to have chosen Stefan and his crew. Highly recommended

It's a big and expensive job repiping a 11 unit apartment building, so I called a lot of plumbers and repiping companies for bids. Most were more expensive, and a few cheaper, but provided incomplete bids. I was concerned about hidden charges and the typical contractor B.S.

Stefan and his small team coordinated with my property manager and the residents to make this as non-disruptive as possible. The result was no more expensive slab leaks and happy residents. The few things that made sense to change out at the same time were priced very reasonably.

I would highly recommend Repipe Home Hero for any re-piping job. They totally deserve the 5 star rating.

Needed to do a full house repipe due to pinhole leaks in original copper piping. Stefan and his crew were great. It was three days of extensive and disruptive work, but their speed and quality of work was terrific. They were always on time and did everything they said they would. They also did all of the drywall and stucco repair (excellent work) - not outsourced to a separate contractor.
This is a local, family-owned business. Highly recommend.
