Repairs and Remodels did a great job for us repairing a custom shower drain leak, which involved replacing the drain fitting in the first floor ceiling and completely redoing the shower floor tile and mortar down to the subfloor, including a hot mop, on the second floor. They took time and attention-to-detail to get the tile and drywall as close to original condition as possible. They are reasonably priced, communicate well and often, are courteous and clean up behind themselves, and they got the job done on time. Charles visits often during repairs and after to ensure expectations are met. I would definitely use them again and recommend them.

I've used this company two times and both times the results were better than my expectations. They've done 2 bathrooms and a kitchen remodel. They have skilled workers and get the job done fast with excellent quality. Charles is a good manager. He communicates frequently and is detailed oriented and follows through quickly. Charles was a well known and respected at the Home Depot design center. He asked pertinent questions from the designer and made me feel like I was in good hands. The bottom line is very little stress for you the homeowner because they handle all the small details and the end result is fantastic!

I wish I could give zero stars I am so angry and disgusted with this company. We contracted Charles Gilbert's company to install patio doors and deck in November. The first worker Charles sent out stayed gone alot and we smelled alcohol on his breath. He had made several mistakes that my husband caught and spoke with him about. He apologized and sent a new crew out to correct and finish the work. The first set of doors they installed were in-swing instead of out-swing. Three weeks later, they brought a door that was the wrong size. We waited another three weeks. Finally, in FEBRUARY!!! they brought the correct door but they SHATTERED the glass during installation because they did not secure the door while working on it. Charles Gilbert promised to return in two weeks with ANOTHER door, then called and said he couldn't install until the first week in March. Now Charles is saying he can not install on the 19th, but instead, the 27th of March. Charles was condescending and patronizingi. He is refusing to finish the patio door. He and his company have been paid in full. They breached our contract twice previously. He is unscrupulous and fundamentally dishonest. He was given multiple opportunities to make these wrongs, right but chose instead to make excuses and offer lies.
MY RECOMMENDATION: DONT HIRE HIM OR HIS COMPANY. NOT WORTH THE HEADACHES.

A glitch in the Contractor Board's computer system apparently caused the inaccurate information

I've had three different home projects done by RROD and each one has turned out great. Charles and his team are helpful, responsive, and great at what they do. Each project (bath/shower remodel, bedroom conversion to home office with built-ins, and front door upgrade/replacement) turned out beautifully. The team was prompt, efficient, did great work, stayed on schedule (even slightly ahead of schedule at times!), and within budget. Charles makes sure to oversee every detail and keeps you informed of any issues which arise and/or any changes that are required. He always follows up to make sure everything was done properly and to your satisfaction. Highly recommend RROD!

From meeting with the owner, Charles, right through the end of the project this was a great experience. Charles called daily to keep me updated, which I appreciated very much. The work crew, Lead person Ron, Joe, Alex, Martin the plumber, Heran the electrician, David the stucco person, were all very professional, knowledgeable, and polite. Lots of precautions were taken to protect floors, walls etc. The work site was cleaned up daily at the end of the day. Overall, this company is GREAT! A BIG thanks to Charles and crew!!

R&R exceeded my expectations. Their work was exceptional, they were friendly and professional, they offered fair pricing, and when they were done they cleaned up so well that you couldn't tell any work had been done. Additionally, Even for a relatively small job the manager/estimator came out and visited while the work was being done to check in and make sure everything was going well.
