Company Overview

Our mission is to offer you a complete handyman solution. As a start-up in our region, we identified a need for quality tradespeople, and we are eager to meet that demand. With over 25 years of experience in the industry, I have been employed by major construction companies across the country, and I am leveraging that knowledge in my new business. I look forward to the opportunity to showcase what we can achieve.

My career started immediately after high school in 1990. With the help of my schooling, I secured my first position with a construction firm in Greenville, SC, and from that point, I progressed through trade schools and moved up the ladder. I ultimately became part of one of the world's leading construction firms, serving as a Foreman until the onset of COVID-19 halted operations. I recognized this as a chance to seek new opportunities. After witnessing many friends struggle to find reliable help for their homes, and experiencing similar issues myself, I decided to channel my skills into creating Rent A Guy Upstate with my daughter and youngest son. Since our launch on March 1, 2022, we have been active for 10 days. So far, we have accomplished 5 or 6 successful tasks, and we are focused on addressing our most significant hurdle—advertising.
