Company Overview

Our mission is to offer you a complete handyman solution. As a start-up in our region, we recognized a demand for skilled craftsmen, and we are eager to meet that demand. Having spent more than 25 years in the field, I have been employed by major construction companies across the country, and I am leveraging that knowledge in my new business. I hope you will allow us the chance to demonstrate our capabilities.

I began my journey right after high school in 1990. Through my training, I secured my first position with a construction firm in Greenville, SC, and from that point, I progressed through trade schools and moved up the ladder. Eventually, I joined one of the largest construction companies globally, where I held the position of Foreman until the pandemic brought everything to a standstill. I decided it was time to consider new ventures. Having seen friends face challenges in finding trustworthy workers for their homes, and facing these problems firsthand, I was inspired to bring my expertise to the community and start Rent A Guy Upstate alongside my daughter and youngest son. Since our launch on March 1, 2022, we have been active for 10 days. During this brief period, we have completed 5 or 6 successful projects, and we are working hard to overcome our greatest challenge—advertising.
