Scamster, fraudulent. Owner took advantage of a new homeowner. Charged me $1,500 for a simple bath unclogging that should cost $50 or less. Charged me 30x initial quote and then yelled at me when I tried to protest. Provided completely unnecessary services for a minor issue.
I am a little, old lady and I guess I look like a nice victim. Right away pressuring me to buy a new $16,000 boiler before even starting the maintenance. I said no, that gas boilers last a long time and my last one was over 50 years old when I sold my house. After cleaning the site glass and pig tail, the boiler started up fine like it always does, but the worker said ""see that smoke?"" and shut the boiler off. There was no smoke! I realized what he was doing, left the room to call my friend in the plumbing field and during that time he shorted my transformer. He put on a new transformer that did not even look like the same part and of course it did not work, stating that my low water shut off valve or my pressure-trol were shorting every transformer. He said he'd send the owner out for the new boiler quote, took my money and left. I had the transformer analyzed and it was open on the primary coil, which was difficult to do and had to be intentional. The next plumber tested my system and all of the points where Renshaw Plumbing said my system were shorting were working fine. Now I am out another $225 to pay the other plumber. Do not trust these people. It is not actually Murray Renshaw anymore - it is a fellow named Brian Rude who bought the business in 2020.
I had Renshaw do a couple of jobs for me - the first one out of the gate was a brand new gas boiler to replace my old oil burner/boiler. Top notch work. Murray Renshaw retired, and a guy named Brian has taken over the business, and did a great job with a kitchen remodel - we put in a center island with a sink and an electric hot water heater/tap for tea, and we moved where the range was and installed a gas range, as well as a pot filler over the range. We also had them install some kick-space hydronic heaters in the kitchen to make up for the removal of the older base ray heaters. Lastly, we had them install waterlines to the new sink and dishwasher as well as a new garbage disposal. Top notch work, professional, and on time. Brian is willing to work with you to make sure your vision is met. Don't hesitate to call Renshaw!
I was in a bind and used another company for my heating repairs. $500 later the unmentioned business left me still broken. I called Renshaw and they completed my repairs in 3 hours. You would be doing yourself a disservice if you go anywhere else. Highest recommendation given.
Michelle A.If you have a heating or plumbing problem this is the company to call, hands down!!! I am very pleased with their work for the second time this year!! This time I had no heat on my third floor and no water coming out of my bathtub faucet. The young man showed up on time and very professional. Just before he finished the job, Rich from the office came by to check on the situation. He was very pleased with the work being done and the smile on my face I now have heat and water in my bathtub. When you call them to make an appointment, tell Rich I sent you!!!
William G.Used for plumbing on several large bathroom installations. Good work. Finished jobs in timely manner.
Had a nightmare situation with my pressure tank and well pump. Jim came out solved the problem and there were plenty to be solved! No one wants more plumbing problems but he was a pleasure to work with and I would definitely not hesitate to call again!
An amazing company: highly professional, promptly returned my call and repaired my leak. The technician was friendly and efficient. I highly recommend and will be using Renshaw Plumbing in the future.
Mark W.They came out about two hrs after I called and fixed my ac unit..Brian the tech did a great job..highly recommended
Came to my house to check the problem, told me to call him later, I called several times, sent emails; it's been about a week, tells me he will call me back but he doesn't return my calls. I have a leak under my kitchen sink, now I have to find somebody else and wait a few more days. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS
