Dave jumped on my failed water heater with the first call. I push the boundaries they operate, near Smith Rock, but he moved forward anyway. The tech, Josh, was great. He had the replacement and installed it when the appointment was set. The workmanship he shows, especially brazing, is exceptional. I'm very pleased with Renew Plumbing and highly recommend them.

The pressure tank for my hot water system sprung a pinhole leak. The system was 16 years old, so, while I wanted the leak repaired in the meantime, it was time to investigate a replacement. I called Renew Plumbing first thing the next morning and they had exactly the replacement unit I wanted already in stock. I said schedule me in! And they weren't messin' around - within a couple hours, they were at the house ready to work. While I looked at the leak as a minor nuisance that I could have easily dealt with for a few days, I really appreciated the priority they put on the job. Even the price was reasonable. The guys (Dave and Josh on this call) were personable and knowledgeable, and I felt like I was in good hands. I'll definitely do business with Renew again.

Don't bother calling around... save yourself time and hire Renew Plumbing. Dave and Josh are professional, thorough and most importantly, honest. I've had them replace a hose bib at a rental and install a shower valve in our own home. I also had them come out to replace a hose bib in our garage because I thought the back flow protection was broken... after Josh assessed the situation he said, ""I could replace this for you, but I would be charging you for something that is working correctly."" No charge for even showing up. These guys are the model for how trades should run a business. Thank you Dave and Josh for your exceptional service!

Very professional (took COVID-19 precautions seriously), and helped me know what to do to get my bathroom ready to receive this porcelain masterpiece. Friendly and knowledgeable service. This company is the best! We've had two plumbing emergencies in the past three weeks and they responded right away, fixed the issues, took care of the problems, not only timely but friendly and professional. I would not recommend this company, very unprofessional and inexperienced.
Renew plumbing recently visited our home to address two issues: leaking washroom sink and noises coming from pipes. After paying almost $300 for the repairs both issues were NOT repaired. The first time I went to use the washroom sink water leaked everywhere. Really?? They didn't even turn on the sink and let the water run to see if the problem was fixed. Josh did come out to fix the leaking sink..... for a second time. We told him we continued to hear noises from our pipes and he said to record the problem and
send it to him. We did this and later discussed with him what the problem might be. He said he had an idea but wasn't sure. I contacted the owner and he said he wasn't sure either. He said they could continue to GUESS what the problem is and we would have to pay for repairs as we go. I am shocked he wanted us to pay for more repairs with no guarantee it would fix our problem AND would not give me a quote for further repairs. No way!!!
We will seek help elsewhere

Everyone needs a great plumber! Dave and Josh are true professionals. They showed up when they said they would, they were thorough in their service, explained everything along the way, had excellent follow up and were very reasonably priced. We couldn't be happier.

I found water around the base of my water heater. I live in a newly-built home, so this was alarming.

I called Renew Plumbing -- Dave Schmidt (541) 480-9450, who showed up the next day. It turns out that the leakage from a failing overflow tank rather than from the water heater itself. It is unusual for one to fail so soon after installation.

Until today, I didn't know how an overflow tank worked. Apparently, they are supposed to be calibrated at a certain pressure level. It is possible that ours was either improperly-calibrated or not calibrated at all at installation.

They checked my house water pressure (75PSI--normal), replaced the overflow tank, calibrated it, and replaced the pressure release valve. Cost: $239. I would highly recommend this plumber: friendly, professional, and fast!
