Erik responded quickly and was able to identify the plumbing issues we were having and fix them right away. It turned out our water heater was failing and sitting in two inches of water as well as some clogging issues affecting water pressure. Our condo's water heater stopped working - flooded the garage. I sent out a repair request from HomeAdvisor. Eric from Renegade Plumbing reached out quickly and began helping walk me through what would need to happen. He reviewed a few pictures I sent, advised me against getting Rheem brand (from Home Depot) and confirmed that the brand I currently had (Bradford White) was respectable.

He spotted a huge snag very early - the way our condo's ventilation was set up meant that we would have to buy the same model, not just the same make. There were only a few around, and he got right on it - was able to procure the model in question quickly. There were some minor delays, but not from his side. I'm sure he had to make a lot of calls to get it.

Through all this, he messaged promptly and answered questions thoroughly.

The actual replacement went smoothly. He called ahead and arrived on time. He uninstalled the old machine and installed the new one. I was instructed to run through the house to make sure everything was working - he let me know what to expect. It all worked out.

Since he's a local guy, I feel good about asking him for help in any future plumbing related issues.
