Beware of this company. First the price they quoted me didnt come with an estimate so I could see exactly what they are charging (that was my first mistake but I was desperate to get the work done) Then at the end after I already gave them two payments they tell you the price you agreed upon doesn't include stuff you did in fact agreed to. I gave them two stars because the work they did does work so far. I am renovating my entire house and this is the only contractor I've had issues with - the only ones I didn't get a written estimate for too. Will not happen again.

I called Remedy at 7:30am to request a new toilet installation, and they were able to get it done the same day at a very reasonable price. The technician took his shoes off before entering the house and kept his mask on the entire time. He was professional and courteous, as was the office personnel I spoke with. They removed the old toilet, installed the new toilet, processed the paperwork, and disposed of the old toilet, all in less than an hour. I would highly recommend Remedy Plumbing and will certainly use them again if needed.

Our toilet stopped flushing and we had a reputable plumber come out who said there were no issues he could see, but that we should replace the toilet for ~$750. We declined his offer, choosing to obtain a second opinion. We called Remedy Plumbing and they came out same day! They conducted a thorough examination of the existing toilet and also recommended a replacement. They even recommended a specific brand of toilet. Same day Remedy drove to Home Depot, bought a toilet, installed new and removed the old. I am pleased to say they charged much less than the other company and did a fantastic job! Highly recommend!

I could hear water running in my utility closet, but cannot find a leak anywhere. Rema arrived within an hour and did a complete inspection, finding no leaks, and confirming that the meter showed no usage. He suggested it could be between the meter and the street, though no water was visible. My townhouse neighbor was asked to look for a leak, and WSSC will be notified. Since no leak was found, I was not charged anything for the inspection. A service charge would have been acceptable to me. Rema was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. I will certainly call Remedy for any future plumbing needs.

We have used this company twice. The first time, they came the same day, at the time they would be there. The second time we called on a Sunday for an appointment for them to come on Monday. Again, they were on time. Their work was fine, prices fair, and the gentleman even pointed out an issue that we had to pay attention to, and as it turned out, he was right. He cleaned up after himself. We have no complaints. It was a no nonsense transaction, no upselling and we definitely do NOT feel hosed. Nice, for a change!

In my experience Rema was dishonest, haughty, and generally a poor quality businessman. I cannot speak to his plumbing skills. Rema quoted me $2700 for a rather large job (replacement of a bathroom's drain pipes). When he showed up on the morning of the job, he walked around the house with his job partner for 20 mins before telling me he didn't have the tools to do the job, that he had quoted me too low (despite him visiting my house a few days prior), and that I would have to pay him $3500 for him to do the job 7 days later. He taunted me, saying that if I could get another plumber to beat his (new) price, that he might come down.

Most concerning of all, when I told Rema that I would share my experience on the internet, he said, ""I don't care. You can't damage my reputation."" Any plumber who doesn't have a reputation to be accountable to won't feel compelled to be honest in his work, either.

I found another plumber who completed my job in half the time Rema had said it would take, and charged me $1600.
