Worked with Ruben on one project. The guy is really nice to talk to but he is one of the worst plumbers I've ever met.

His style is to show up, do some minor thing and leave. Then he is sending the invoice for working on the project for the whole week.

To some extend, I could leave with that, but when I had five leaks under three-compartment think right before inspection I had to stop him. I marked every single area where it leaks on pictures, but he couldn't fix it before the inspection, so I hired another plumber to finish the project.

After couple of weeks I found some other leaks and asked if Ruben can fix them, but this time he was not that nice said that he is busy. When I asked about the warranty for his job he said that there is no warranty.

One more thing. He didn't check the existing lines and connected hot water instead of cold and of course didn't want to fix it.

I don't know what experience other clients had with him but if you decide to choose him, be prepared for a not pleasant surprise.

The gas company came out because we were smelling gas. Of course, this happened on a weekend. The technician made an incorrect diagnosis.

Enter Reuben. He was able to come within an HOUR! I was preparing to be without hot water until Monday. No way! Reuben found the real problem and fixed it at a very fair price.

Amazing plumber, recommend highly.
3 weeks ago, he came over, crawled underneath the house, and replaced the pipes under the bathtub.
Today he came over, while I was at work and fixed the sprinkler.

Amazing! Ruben came within an hour of my calling him and was very knowledgeable with our professional kitchen equipment. He connected a professional stove, fixed a toilet - and then noticed a faucet leak and fixed it as well as a bonus. I had another plumber out at my place before my friend said he knew a good plumber and gave me Rueben's number. My water heater would not stay on. Rueben was very knowledgeable and explained everything in detail about my water heater was behaving the way it was. Because I'm a nice guy I won't mention the company that gauged me and did it wrong and tried to fix by selling me another one! But thank GOD for Reuben!!! There was actually nothing with the unit itself, He tested my gas pressure which was low and fluxuating, he found 2 leaks and 1 leak at a union under my house, which that should not have even been there, he also suggested that I call the company and have them change their regulator, which I did and Rueben was correct about that as well. He also made my heater up to code, he also informed me that there was enough intake air for unit to work correctly. He fixed everything and educated me!!! I sleep so much better knowing I will have hot water every morning when I shower. He was very reasonable with his pricing, My bank is still intact!!! LOL I will never call another plumbing company again!!! Rueben is the Man! I highly recommend him all the way around!!! Thanks Rueben!!!

I am a Southern California Realtor since 2002, Remedy Plumbing is my go to plumer for residential, and commercial. Remedy Plumbing has been around since before the crash of the Ressession. I met the owner ""Ruben"" at a Amazing Vintage Historic Renovation in Highland Park 90042. The city inspectors were being very demanding, as the job was a ""Historical Home"" and Ruben was able to comply and get the job done on time. I thank him for his professionalism and being able to communicate with the inspectors without issue. I truly believe, if it had not been for Ruben having the knowledge of home building , the renovation project would not have gone so smoothly. One of the things that makes Remedy Plumbing Great, is that the owner operator ""Ruben"" truley loves what he dose, he realizes that a persons home is their castle, or the owners income property has to be done ASAP and works to give his best service to give you value, not just a quick fix and never to be seen again. I've never met a plumber that actualy loves getting down and dirty, and after the job is done, actualy stands back and admires his sculpture of pipes! LOL! His specialty is sewer lines!
