I had a leak in my bathtub from the spout and that continued to my kitchen ceiling. Apparently there was a hole in a pipe above kitchen ceiling and mold was formed on the sheet rock. Plumber just wanted to fix/replace the pipe. I had to argue w him to remove the part of sheet rock that was moldy. When it was time to pay he did not itemize the charges. Told me receipt will be emailed to me. It was when I received the email that I saw that he charged me extra for fixing leak in bathtub.

I bought a house which had 15 empty one-gallon water bottles in the basement. That should have been a clue not to buy. There was disgusting black water from the first shower until Rely came out and fixed it. I had tried a couple of other plumbers and was about to drill a well but a young plumber from Rely came out to replace a part and we talked about the issue which he told me it was in the hot water heater. Bingo, it was replaced and the water was perfect after that.

Rely has been very reliable and honest throughout the years. We have had many small plumbing issues and they have been easy to deal with and prices are reasonable. Sometimes you cannot get an appointment immediately, but they are worth the wait if it is not an emergency. I have tried other plumbers occasionally for comparison and I keep coming back to Rely.

We have found Rely to be a very honest and reliable service provider. We have used them for our air conditioner and furnace maintenance and plan on using them for a water purification system.

We previously used AJ Perri at our last house. After we moved 2 years ago to our current house we had a problem with one of the air conditioning units so we contacted AJ Perri. Their tech told us the whole unit had to be replaced for $8,000 and pressured us to sign a contract immediately. Rely was recommended by a neighbor and they fixed the issue for $300. Has been running fine since. We decided to use them for the annual maintenance of our furnace and have found them to be professional, polite and knowledgeable. They show up on time (contrary to the other 2 reviews on here) and explain exactly what they are doing. No pressure, no extra sales, and very reasonable prices.

Would like to express my sincere appreciation to RELY Mechanical Plumbing Company, proudly a three-generation plumbing company owned by Robert ELY, hence RELY. When I had an emergency that was an easy fix on Saturday afternoon, an associate plumber of the company answered my call courteously and fixed the problem promptly on site with ease and experience. Monday morning I bought two new toilets and had them installed Wednesday, as well as a new showerhead, and have plans to have another one switched out soon. For that, I will be calling back to RELY Plumbing. How I wish I'd known about this company sooner. All service done to my satisfaction was very professional, economical, prompt, and courteous. When we bought our house, our system was already installed by Rely so we continued to use them. They are anything but RELYable. They don't return phone calls, they say they will come, and then don't show up...they also overcharge (by a lot) compared to other companies and are not friendly people.....HERE WAS OUR STORY--our system had a malfunction, they came fixed it and then left. A few days later the system was still malfunctioning, they came back replaced something else and then charged us for both appointments and both parts even thought the first part had nothing to do with the malfunction....they charged us labor and parts and expected us to pay for it all when they were the ones who did not insert the correct part the first time around. We gave them such a hard time that now we have another malfunction and this is where we came to realize they are truly unprofessional. We have called 4 times and they will not return our phone call. We decided to go with another company who responded immediately and helped us with our problem. I highly recommend NOT using RELY.

This business is not closed, despite what the listing says.

I contacted Rely as I need to replace my current POS water purification system. I spoke at length with someone who seemed to be quite knowledgeable and he scheduled a time for them to come out to take a water sample.

Fast forward to the date/time we scheduled, and no one showed. I gave them an hour and still no one. I called the office to see where they were and apparently the appointment was never added to the book. So I scheduled another date/time. This time the guy showed, an hour early. Fortunately I was home.

A week went by and I had not heard from anyone regarding the results. I called, and I spoke to the same gentleman I initially spoke to. He told me he would contact the testing company and get back to me either way. I never heard anything. So I waited another week (now two weeks since the sample was taken) and called again to find out the results.

The woman I spoke with said she hadn't seen anything, and asked me to hold on a moment while she inquired. I could hear in the background someone saying ""That was the water sample that I had left in the truck"" meaning it had gone bad before they dropped it off for testing. The woman told me she was going to find out what was going on and would be back in touch.

It's now two weeks since that last call, a month since my sample was taken, and I have not heard from anyone. Apparently Rely (more like UNrelyABLE) has enough work so don't waste your time or money by giving them your business.
