I had a leaking bathroom sink that seemed like a minor fix. I saw some good reviews for this company and my partner made us an appointment with same day service. The service fee was $89 and gets waived after you accept further work.

Ray Baker arrived as our technician. I showed him where the sink was leaking from and he explained that he thought the installation of the sink was bad, which I didn't necessarily disagree with. During his diagnostic of the leak, he loosened another area of the sink. After his diagnosis, which only took one or two minutes, he went to another area of my house with my partner to provide her with a quote.

I stayed upstairs to assess whether or not the sink had been put together in a way where it'd be usable while we got together the money for the quote Ray was about to provide.

I noticed the part he'd loosened was leaking and it hadn't previously leaked, so I went and asked if he could tighten it before he left. Ray responded and said, "No." There was awkward silence and I politely asked again, but this time he agreed. I mentioned that I just wanted it tightened in good faith, so that the sink was somewhat usable while we got together the money to make the permanent fix. I didn't think this was an unreasonable ask, considering we'd paid the $89 service fee that's not refundable.

Once he started tightening the pipe on the sink, I again mentioned that I just wanted it tightened in good faith, to which he replied that he'd just get money from the next job and didn't need our business. I didn't know how to respond, so I just didn't say anything. During my silence, I noticed Ray getting progressively more hostile and upset. Unprovoked, he mentioned several times that the sink was broken and tightening it wouldn't fix anything, that we needed to pay the money for the quote to fix it. What confused me about this interaction is that I never once said I wouldn't want the permanent fix, nor did I deny the quote.

I won't be using this company again due to Ray Baker's behavior.

When I had an issue with my water pressure, I was able to make an appointment for the next day from 8-noon. Justin fixed the problem quickly and got everything working perfectly. The receptionist and the plumber were both very friendly. I would highly recommend Reliant to anyone needing a plumbing company. They are fast and friendly.

Service was fine, but the pricing was egregious. $495 to flush a tankless water heater?! Admittedly, I paid the price this time since they were already at my home and charge a $90 fee even if no work is done (which is obviously why this fee exists), but they are playing the short game. I was a customer for this one day, but I'll never use them again. Look elsewhere to get the same quality work for half the price. It just feels awful to get ripped off.

Sewer line was backed up and toilet began leaking water into our bathroom floor. Sewage backing up in our bath and shower as well. All at 9:30 on a Monday night. Reliant to the rescue! They had a technician out to our home in less than 30 minutes - his name is Dominic, and he was extremely professional and pleasant. He cleaned out the main sewage line and also resealed out two downstairs toilets. He answered all my questions and was great at answering all my questions. Can't recommend him enough!

Horrible company, avoid at all costs. Jacob Whitley came to our home and didn't even test pipes and claimed they had leaks quoting over 16k to repipe just the hot water lines in 2 bathrooms (manager came out and confirmed they did not have leaks; actually testing them) the pipe we knew was leaking was not capped and he capped the wrong one (in a completely different room) and ended up with more damage than necessary after claiming the leak was fixed. Manager had to come out the next day and correct his errors. Jacob was not up front with the pricing and we have surprise charges over $2000 for leak detection that was only half done and just damaged our home without fixing the problem. Been waiting weeks and several phone calls to get a copy of what I signed for the leak detection. Came to our home at the end of May and is now 2 weeks into July still waiting.
The not sure if this is how the company normally operates or just a terrible employee but it is not a good representation of the company.
Way overpriced. Over 3x any other plumbers and sadly that is not even an over-exaggeration. Save yourself the hassle and the money and avoid Reliant Plumbing

Edit: response to Max H- I've been calling that line given and the girls that answer just give a run around and claim they can't transfer to a manger directly. I've also been in contact with the manager directly for over a month. Though Alec has been kind and understanding and I believe a good manager, Its taken over a month to get what I've asked for and still haven't had the issue resolved and being charged a surprise fee that I was not informed about and thought I was signing for the fee that I was told about and the amount shown on the bill. It only states at the end of the description of what is being done about the extra fees so all in all appears as a hidden fee in the text. only reading the start appears as just a description of what work was to be done and not added fees. Had I known about those additional fees I would have refused the detection to begin with as the initial amount was too high already. I put my trust in signing for a company that advertises no hidden or surprise fees and here I am being charged an additional $1000 I had no idea about for a problem that Jacob didn't even fix and only damaged our home

I should have read the other reviews. I was not provided any quotes online and was told that they could only be provided when the technician showed up. He showed up 90 minutes into the time window. He looked at it for 1 min and quoted me $515 to start to unclog a sink. I shared my concern that usually, it costs between 100 and 250 and that it was a bit of a bait and switch. That I would pay the $89 call fee, but it would come with a review describing my experience. The tech told me it was very unfair and wrong for me to do that. I told him that for me, it was important to be factual and let others know what to expect. The tech then got anger management issues, got furious, and walked away, telling me not to worry about the fee. I asked him to please document it, and he just told me, don't worry, you won't be charged. I would have probably not left this review if he had been professional.

I just hired someone on TaskRabbit who did the job in 20 minutes and charged me $85.

Dominic Joseph showed up on time and was very polite. He was very accommodating as I was needing to do some work while he did his job. I had a stuck drain that I could not possibly fix myself. He quickly got it un-stuck without any issues and didn't create a mess. Very nice and quick!

Would highly recommend using them and asking for his services.
