My toilet has had a slow leak/hiss in the tank for a few weeks now and it's bloody annoying & a waste of water! Time to get it fixed. I open the tank and the hiss and slow leak is coming from the tower.

Background (I try my damnedest to be a DIY guy, but whenever I try, the shit literally hits the fan). There is a reason why I am an accountant and not a handyman. Especially with electrical/plumbing issues, I could die or flood my condo & neighbors. Better get it done right.

Usually these projects go for $150-$250 for labor itself from the big guys/companies. So I am looking for something less but also, someone who does quality work. I put it out there that I need a toilet repair done. Lots of contacts but you have to give them tons of info before getting one simple quote. Reliance Handyman Srrvices (no Yelp reviews) asked what needed repairs and for me to take a picture of the issue. He gave me a flat fee/affordable reasonable price with parts & labor includedl. And he could do it same day but it would be later in the day. I asked if he could take personal check. After Zelle, CashApp which I do not have but I should, he agreed to a personal check which I am appreciative of.

The appt was from 6-7pm and he was stuck in traffic but showed up 6:40pm. Well within reason figuring that traffic sucks around here. He started on the job and 25 minutes later after making sure there were no leaks and such, he called me over to explain what was done. He replaced everything in the tank (Tower/flapper/hoses), installed a rubber ring where the flapper was and adjusted the water level. It was going to overflow if I didn't call when I did. Whew!

Mohamed Kabia is his name and I will start using him from now on. I trust his work and he guarantees what he does for 6 months. Here's his first 5 star review and hopefully more! Thanks Mohamed!
