Michael Jackson established this company in 2006, during a time when the trade industry was slowing down, and good trade jobs were harder to find. Knowing it was essential to move forward, I decided to take a chance to apply my knowledge and expertise to embark on an entrepreneurial journey. Fast forward 9 years, and Reliable Home Improvement is still going strong, offering high-quality workmanship to our customers. I am honored to serve the community. We hold all necessary licenses, bonds, and insurance. Our BBB rating is A+, an A rating with Angie's List, plus, we are certified by the EPA.
Educated in several trades, I appreciate connecting with customers, and I am patient and understanding. Being a family-oriented individual, I enjoy spending time with kids and pets. I participate in local volunteer efforts.

My experience with Reliable Home Improvement & Plumbing LLC was absolutely HORRIFIC!!!!!!! I'm sorry that I ever hired them. I wish I could give this company a zero star. Unfortunately, this site won't allow me to do; so, I hired this company to install my kitchen floor. What a mistake that was on my part. I encountered a series of issues. The incorrect measurements were taken and as a result there was not enough tile to complete the job. The same tile was no longer available. Mr. Michael Jackson the owner never apologized for his mistake taking the measurements. The floor is uneven as the subfloor was not completely replaced instead it was patched. The molding on the floor was not properly resealed as the tile was not measured and cut evenly all the way across. The granite crown molding was removed from the wall when my stove was moved to place the tile under the stove. The grout sealant was not administered to the floor. When I contacted the owner Mr. Michael Jackson regarding my concerns he never responded. This company should come with a warning ""work with me at your own risk."" If, you want excellent quality service, this is not the company that will provide that to you. Work with them at your own risk.
I would hire this company again. Michael was very knowledgable about my plumbing problem and he was able to tell on the phone what was wrong. He fixed my tub faucet and it is working well.
Rae M.Too bad I can't give this company zero stars, because it deserves it. A few weeks ago, I had a plumbing issue and shared this info with my sister. Since she's a member of Angie's List, she volunteered to look me up a few reliable plumbers in the area. The first name she gave me was Mr. Jackson from Reliable Home Improvements. I called him on a Monday and spoke to him about possible resolutions to my plumbing issue. We decided that Thursday morning between 9-9:30am would be the perfect time for him to stop by and inspect my issue.
I remember that I specifically asked him if I needed to call him back to confirm my appointment with him later that day. He said, ""no, I have you on my calendar, but if their is a problem, I will call you back."" I thanked him and told him I'll see him Thursday. Well, Thursday rolls around and I didn't hear from, nor did I see Mr. Jackson. Extremely unprofessional! I worked from home that day, so thank God I didn't have to take off, but it was still an inconvenience.
Why on earth is it so hard to find honest, competent and reliable plumbers? This is a give and take situation. I pay for a service, you fix the problem...plain and simple. I wasn't asking to fix the problem for free, I was a paying customer! Moreover, if he wasn't available, a simple call to reschedule would've been the proper thing to do. Two weeks to the day and I still haven't heard back from this company. Horrible customer service!
Take it from me and don't even bother contacting this company. My sister suggested that I call him back, but I refused because it's plenty of plumbers in the area that are willing and able to assist me. I found one too, he fixed my issue lickety split and was very professional! One and DONE!

Allegra A.This review is based solely on customer service. I called to get a quote on a bathroom sink install and was quoted a price that I was told was subject to change. That's fine with me. At this point I offered to send pictures of the job so he would feel more comfortable with the quote being offered. He was friendly on the phone, but when I texted the pictures of the job and asked about using the coupon offered on Yelp, he never responded. That was 2 days ago. Professionalism and customer response goes a long way.
Leslie R.Our garbage disposal of less than one year went on the fritz. I was pleased Reliable replaced it and dealt with the warranty on their own. The manufacturer Badger did not appear to make that process easy. Still had to pay $375 to cover labor and snaking the drain however.

This company started off right the owner appeared to know about home repairs and seem to be honest. His son came to fix items the first time and everything went well. I called the father again and he sent his son out another time and that's when the problem began. The son came to the home and did not clean up after himself and tried to overcharge me for items that I was already given an amount from the owner. I was told that an item in my home needed to be repaired, but after hiring someone else to check out the problem I found out all the item needed was to be plugged in to the outlet. I was given a quote of between $800 and $900 to fix that problem boy am I glad I got a second opinion. I did take the time to send the owner of the company an email pertaining to the matter, but never received a response. What ashame because I thought I had found a reliable and honest company.
We had a pipe burst and needed a plumber right away! Mr. Jackson called us back and we were lucky to get an afternoon appointment. I should mention we had been living on our house 5 days before this happened. Not only did he find the leak, repair the leak, explained what happened and addressed it so it won't happen again. We also figured we'd ask all of our current plumbing questions which he happily answered and had him do work on our sump pump. Going with Reliable Home Improvement worked out well for us and it's good to know we have good, honest and fair plumber we can in the future!
Marcus M.I left a message, he never called me back. I found this odd as waited several days for a call back since I stayed over a friend's house. Who doesn't call back?
Update: Called me back a week later, said he was on vacation. That's cool and all, but could you leave a message on your voice mail stating as much since you also use this phone for business? How am I supposed to know that?
