Reliable heating and air installed in August, 2019 Trane gas air condition with a TXV valve that was leaking refrigerant and Reliable denied the 2019 Trane gas air condition had a TXV valve and has refused to show a HVAC or a readable EPA certification and has refused to repair. The model# for the 2019 Trane gas air condition and gas furnace installed do not match Reliable Equipment information. Reliable Equipment information list equipment never installed in residence.Reliable Union City mechanical permit is for an electrical air system not a Trane gas air system installed.

I had such a great experience with them today. My technician was Armando Rosas who came out because I wanted my AC unit tuned up after receiving a $250 bill from Georgia Power. He took the time to show me where to change the filters and it was disgusting how dirty mine was. I got everything done I needed and now I hope to see that reflected in my on going energy bills!!!! I have a contract with them so they will come out twice a year and check my AC and my furnace and I feel really good about that.

Within two months, same problem, was charged over $200. I won't be using them again. The guy was in training & the other guy walked in & didn't speak. SMH

When my last HVAC system went I reached out to Reliable for a new system, and they provided a great quote. That is where the positives end. After the initial installation in late 2019, the system immediately broke down and would not heat. The technicians that Reliable sent to inspect the error said the installation team did not install it correctly and broke the entire system. To remedy this they replaced the system and installed it again. Fast forward to the following spring (2020) and the system breaks again as it was only blowing air and not cooling. Reliable claims they fixed the system as it is working, but to my surprise come the next year it breaks again... (spring 2021. It was determined that the issue was with the last repair and installation of how the draining pipe was routed. Finally, after this last service, they decide to charge me for the repair even though I am under the standard warranty of 5 years of labor. Then come 2022 and the system breaks yet again and they will refuse to serve as the warranty dispute is still ongoing. This was a colossal mistake to work with Reliable, as their service, parts, system, customer service is a complete mess and the opposite of reliable. Their repairs team does not speak to installations, and their customer service is completely disconnected from any other departments rendering them useless. It's a wonder how anything gets done. I have now seen other reviews stating the same issues. If you have the opportunity to go with another provider go with them, it will be worth it even if it costs more upfront.

I am begging you... please choose any other HVAC company. I have been without heat for 5 days. The unit that broke is 2-3 years old. It was installed by Reliable. It has been maintained by Reliable. I have called for 5 consecutive days. Each day, after a 15 - 30 minute wait, I am connected to a """"receptionist"""" who takes down the same information... because they are not linked to any Reliable system. They then promise to pass on my information to the local field office and dispatch team ... i have been waiting 5 days and no call back. Today, the receptionist offered my an appointment. In 30 days. I explained that I did not have heat. He apologized. Said it was the best he could do. Literally. The worst company ever. Try anyone else.

Problem #1. Reliable never respects customer's time. 1. They provide you a two-hour window, almost never shows up at the 2-hour window. If it happens occasionally where the technician got delayed with their previous job and are running late, I can understand this. 2. I was provided 8am-10am window for a plumbing problem and this is supposed to be the first appointment for the day. They call me at 10am saying they are still waiting to hear from the plumber and unable to provide me an ETA. Problem #2. I am having hard time trusting Reliable. 1. Previously I had them come check out my air-conditioner, the technician recommend I replace the a/c instead of repairing it. I was told the trip charge for $89.95 would be refunded if I choose to go with them. 2. I signed up with them for comfort as a service - but guess what? Reliable never actually refunded that $89.95 charge. 3. For proof I can provide both my credit card transaction and the comfort as a service that I signed up with them 4. I was going to let this refund issue go as a mistake on their part, but after today when they were still unable to fulfill their promised schedule - I am convinced they simply do not respect you as a customer or your time. Please do yourself a huge favor and go through the negative reviews about Reliable here before you make the mistake of calling them. When ever you think about calling Reliable, please keep in mind they are totally Unreliable.

This company is dishonest, provides unreliable work, and does not hold themselves accountable for their mistakes. We had an awful experience with installation in 2019 where we sat in 90+ degree house for a day and a half because they installed our system improperly the first time and wouldn't send someone out. On 3/29/21, we paid this business $134.99 for the required annual maintenance inspection on our system (invoice attached). During that time, they said that everything looked great. On 5/11/21, our AC lost power so we requested service because we were leaving the country the next day. They said they did not have anyone to send and couldn't help before we left. I left a negative review on Yelp and paid Coolray $79.00 to come out within a few hours (invoice attached). Coolray saw wiring issues from instillation (broken wire) which caused a fuse to stop working- hence no power. They said they could either fully repair the unit, or they could replace the fuse alone to make it work until Reliable could come fix the broken wire, but warned that they can't touch the unit without voiding the warrantee. Reliable did end up sending someone that night after my Yelp review to fix the issue which they confirmed what Coolray had said (aside from admitting it was from instillation). I was asked to amend my last review because the business accommodated our schedule. We were very grateful to have a working unit so we could leave for our trip so I removed my last review. Because our AC would not have had issues if they had done the inspection properly and caught the issue then, I submitted a complaint to the BBB requesting a refund for that inspection (incorrectly noted in my initial complaint - but no offer for the actual amount I did pay or to cover the cost of Coolray given their """"miscommunication"""") because they clearly missed this broken wire. The company's response was that the wire wasn't broken when they checked the system and that the systems vibrates which could have caused the issue. I have copied that transcript below from the BBB complaint for your reference. There is a clear history of improperly wiring/installing my system, a 2nd certified option confirmed it was an instillation issue with nothing to gain because he knew we're stuck with Reliable for service, and they still refuse to take responsibility for their errors. I warn you -- go with another company for your service - any other company. Coolray has been really helpful for us, but again, anyone else would be better. We bought our unit from Reliable so now we are stuck with them if we wish to maintain our warrantee, but you have a choice to have a better experience. Even if you have to pay a little more up front, it's worth it. I promise you. The only way you'll have hope of get anything done is by leaving a negative review online, and the work they do is completely unreliable. Our AC works for now, but I have next to no confidence that it will last for very long. I have no doubt I'll get the pleasure of """"working"""" with them very soon.

770 594 9066 I was a customer for over 10yrs. now """"family Owned"""" seems to be false advertising, The Jaffe family sold the business! When the company was owned solely by Mr. Jaffe & son, it was and an honest and """"reliable"""" company...Since he sold the company, the prices have risen significantly, and customer service is terrible in the office. I called at 7:30am having had no heat all night in January. The office guy's first question is are you our customer? I waited 6hrs for a tech to show. I never received a status/update call; so I called another company and he was there within 30 minutes. When I cancelled the Reliable call out the office girl only had 1 question: """"Do you want to renew your service agreement? Not a clue! Very sad end to the Jaffe's hard work to build a reputation!

Called for """"no cooling"""" in a small office building. Tech called to tell me that the HVAC unit was out of refrigerant and recommended replacement of the entire RTU since r-22 would be completely phased out by 2020. I had a previous quote from another company of around $17,000 for a new unit and that was considered an exceptionally good price. I asked the tech to get me a quote on a replacement unit. I never heard back from him. He also stated that the cost of r-22 was in excess of $100/lb and the unit held 30lbs, so the cost would likely exceed $4000. All he seemed interested in was in pushing for complete unit replacement with a maintenace contract To get a second opinion, I called Trane and asked them to check the unit. They replaced a bad condenser fan (not caught by Reliable tech) and fixed the leak and added 20lbs of refrigerant at a cost of $30/lb. Trane saw no reason for replacement of the unit. The unit is 13 years old, but has been unused for 90% of that time. When Trane inspected the unit a year earlier, it was deemed to be in excellent condition.

Our technician Kirk is always very reliable, friendly and courteous. I appreciate him not trying to sell me a replacement filter when it was not needed.....honesty goes along way. We have our semi annual maintenance completed. Reliable replaced our entire heating and air system 4-5 years ago with a high efficiency. Best decision we ever made. Our highest electric bill has not topped $180 in the summer and we keep it set on FROSTBITE......beats a $400 - 500 Summer bill. We had a computer board go bad last year, and reliable repaired/replace and stood behind their lifetime warranty because we maintain an annual maintenance contract with them.....no charge!
