I had a new AC & Furnace unit installed in Feb 2017. The proposal was for $14,300 but with the 2% discount for paying in cash it sums up to $14,014. When the unit was installed they were short of equipment / material so I paid with a check for $13,800 which Mark C agreed and gave me an paid up invoice for $0. They returned in about 2 weeks and installed the rest of the items to fulfill the work and then tested the unit and ran it satisfactorily and I gave Allan a check for $265 (total payments of $14,065) which means I overpaid $51 based on Allan stating he required $265 to zero the account. My mistake for not checking Reliable's math! Six months after this installation I received an invoice asking for $500 more!!? The description states it is for them to install the low voltage control wiring and thermostat and start the unit up! Duhhhh, this was already done and the job completed on March 6, 2017, and paid in full (plus the additional $51 overage I spent). I have spoken to Amber initially and David O in their accounting group and their final response to me is that Chris G the sales man says """"his math is correct, there is still more to be collected"""". They have only acknowledged my $13,800 check payment even though I show the final check for $265 being cashed also on March 8, 2017. So either they had an employee run off with the money or their accounting is so messed up they cannot make sense of it themselves. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY TRYING TO INTIMIDATE & COERCE YOU INTO PAYING MORE THAN THE PROPOSAL & FINAL BILLING AMOUNTS. I have used the company, Superior, before and have had excellent service & billing but decided to try Reliable as a backup provider in order to have two future utility tech firms- Reliable FAILED on this option. This company now will not honor their 1 year free service commitment to check the unit after 11 months of service nor honor their warranty on the humidifier they installed that is now flashing warning errors so I cannot run it. They say pay them the $500 they ask or they will not fulfill any of their obligations. Shocking that companies still think they can operate this way like was done by fraudulent companies back in the 1950s.

Technician arrived on time. He was knowledgable, personable and communicated well. He immediately figured out that an igniter had gone bad. He had the replacement part on his truck. Excellent and efficient service ON NEW YEAR'S EVE!

On December 26 2017 after speaking with an upper management person a new air handler unit was brought out and they replaced the other one. I want to thank Mark for getting this done. Don't know what the problem was with the other, but this process was a nightmare that needed with a good outcome. My major concern in all of this was the health of my wife. The guys that did the installation were very professional and courteous. The also told me i would get a call in the AM from the install manager to setup a date to put Freon in the AC unit.

Had my entire system replaced by them back in July. Initially it was a good experience however the follow up on additional inform work has been awful. Its The end of November and I am still waiting on them to come replace a valve for my water heater...a result from the install. I live in a condo and have scheduled to have it done without too much of an inconvenience(water for entire building has to be shut off) to my neighbors but they don't follow through with time and it has to be rescheduled. Without the valve being replaced, there is no heat in my condo. They should have come out before now to do this, so disappointed. Although they have been back out to fix the wall they cut up, it took more than a month for it to happen and I had to follow up with them. If you use them make sure they do what they say they will do in a timely manner. For the amount of money I spent a four month follow up is not acceptable. Update 12/22/17 Heat not working again this year. Same issue from last year. Brand new system and the pump has to be replaced! A very costly fix that could have been avoided had they replaced it last year when I had the issue. So disappointed with this company.

On December 20, 2017, I had this company unclog my upstairs bath tub and install a garbage disposal. When I went upstairs to talk to the plumber. I noticed paper towel in my toilet. I asked the plumber why is he flushing paper towel down my toilet. He responded that he cut up the paper towel and that it will not affect my plumbing. First, is it your company policy to have your license plumbers to flush paper towel down client's toilets. Secondly, how will your company remedy the issue of paper towel being flush down my toilet.

Gave them 2 stars because they showed up on time. Thats about it. Heater wasn't working properly so, after hearing all the commercials on the radio, we called them first. The tech came out and was very nice. He spent about 10 minutes """"servicing"""" the heater then came to the conclusion that we needed a new unit. He charged us $89 for """"servicing"""" it. The next day the salesman came out and quoted us $6500 for new units inside and out...basically an entire new set up from the ground up. Was told we could pay it all at once, or for $99 for the next 8 years, they could do the work and then service the unit. I was at work and my wife was here talking to the salesman. When she said she would need to discuss it with me, he pulled out the old """"why can't you make the decision"""". We decided to get a second opinion before dropping that much money. Had another tech out from a different company the next day. That tech spent over 4 hours, actually figuring out what was wrong with the unit. $300 later, the house has never heated so good. Was told our unit did not need replacing and that it had many more years ahead of it (it is just over 10 years old).

Reliable has ALLSTAR service members! My mother (Naela) had a gentleman named Rodney come out to do an estimate for us this past Summer after our a/c unit froze over. Needless to say, we previously had 4-5 different companies come out to offer their estimates as well. All of those companies came in, gave us a price, and left. None of them were even CLOSE to how professional Rodney was with his estimate. He walked my mother through all the intricacies of the potential units and gave us tons of information about what specific unit we will need to EFFICIENTLY cool her home -- information about the BTUs, SEER rating, a/c brands they offer, and many other things (Rodney, you are a mad man!). Anyway, after seeing how in-depth and professional the estimate was, we obviously decided to go with Reliable. Yes, the price was a tad bit higher than the other estimates, but the reassurance that my mother was in good hands, and the fact that their warranty was much better, (parts/labor!!) it was a no-brainer. A week later their service techs came out and were swift and efficient with the installation. Our yard is on a slight incline but they set it up to be completely level (the previous one, courtesy of the original builders of the neighborhood, was on a slant). I would highly recommend Reliable to anyone looking for services they cover. Thanks so much!

Company sent out a service tech which said the furnace needed a control board he installed the new box and it didn't fix it so he said I needed a new furnace I called another company and they fixed it for 470.00 not a new furnance

Justin and Harrison did a great job installing my new HVAC system. They worked hard to get everything right. And they listened to me--my comments and questions. Great job, guys!

The only reason they get a 1 is because 0 is not an option. VERY DISHONEST!! I payed for the annual maintenance plan in spring. When Will R came to my house I allowed him in my attack. I should not have left him alone. He was up there an awfully long time. When he was almost done, he came down to get a furnace filter since 'that is part of the plan'. When I finally went upstairs because he was up there so long, he hustled to get to the attack steps. His words to me..""""we gotta talk, downstairs."""" He told me he """"condemned"""" my furnace because it had 2 cracks in the heat exchanger and it could be leaking C02. He never tested for any leaks. When I told him I have detectors he told me """"C02 DECTORS DON'T WORK, and if they do, it can be too late. He told me it would be 2K to repair so """"I might as well just get a new one."""" He had already looked at my AC by this time. He tried to get me to schedule someone for a quote and I would not let him finish. I had a bad feeling about him from the moment I opened the door. I called Reliable and told them I was not comfortable at all with what he did and said and wanted a more experienced person to come check it out. They agreed and sent Cedrick. I did not tell anyone from Reliable what Will had said or done in my attic. (leaving a fuse and the zip ties he thought he should remove from cables and pipes in my attick) I stayed in the attic this time while Cedrick looked at my furnace. He did whatever it was he was doing and climbed inside the furnace. Sure enough I had """"ONE crack!"""" I asked him to take a picture of the crack with MY cell phone. He spent an awful long time in there trying to figure out what he should do now. He took a picture of a bend with a crease somewhere in the furnace. He told me I couldn't see the crack in the picture because it was in the crease. I asked him why Will would have told me he saw not 1 but 2 cracks and he said """"I don't know I wasn't here"""" I asked him why Will would have done anything that he did and he said """"I don't know I wasn't here"""" After I asked him about the 1 vs 2 cracks, he stood up and turned away and I heard him say under his breath """"A little over anxious Will"""" I then asked him why he would replace a furnace filter on a furnace he was condemning, Cedricks response was, """"It's part of the package and we want to make sure we complete everything"""". When I told him what will told me about the C02 detectors not working, his response """"YOU DON'T SEE HVAC GUYS SELLING THEM DO YOU? THAT'S BECAUSE THEY DON'T ALWAYS WORK.WE'RE THE PROFESSIONALS"""" Upon leaving he also thought I should talk to someone about getting a new Trane HVAC system because that is the cadillac of furnaces. After speaking to people about how none of this felt right to me and that I felt they were trying to take advantage of a single woman who wouldn't know any better, I called a different company for a second opinion. (This company was recommended to me by someone who deals with them) Not telling them everything that had happened. GUESS WHAT?? I DON'T HAVE ANY CRACKS IN MY FURNACE! The guy that came from the other HVAC actually tested several areas for C02 leaks. Everything read at zero. He asked me to show him where they tried to tell me the cracks were and he pretty much laughed and said it wouldn't crack there. He also told me that my furnace has a 20 year warranty. That's funny, after Cedrick scrolled on his phone, he told me I didn't have a warrantee. My take on all of this. Reliable Heating and Air is a very dishonest company, and I'm guessing paying bonuses to these guys for getting someone to buy a new system. NOT THIS GIRL!! Get with it Reliable, word of mouth is the best, or in my case the worst kind of advertising! And I've talked to a LOT of people.
