I have been using reliable since 1983, was the previous home owner's company. I did order fuel only one time from another company, it was through a teacher's union. The price I felt was a bit cheaper . But
I soon realized customer service and reliability (pardon the pun) meant more to me. I like my service to be valued.
I was in Florida when my kids called and the furnace had a puff back, I needed a new furnace they were on it! I realized loyalty works two ways.
They have merged but I still feel they have my back. They still seem to look out for their customers. Companies like this used to be the model but few exist today. Thanks for those years of service Richard.

Stay away from this company. Reliable they are not. Installed a water heater, after I smelled gas they had to come 4 times including telling me it's not leaking from there and had to wait for National grid to arrive to pinpoint it for them. Turns out they installed a unit that doesn't fit the exhaust system. Now they will not take the newly installed heater and sent a proposal for double the price for a different water heater. OMG. will not supply w-9 either. beware.

I have been using Reliable Fuel since 2008. I inherited them from the previous owner of my home and have been very happy with their service. Whether for routine oil tank fills, boiler maintenance, or emergencies, service is always on time, professional and reasonably price. I also love that they're a family run business going back 3 generations, and Lucy who picks up most of the calls is the absolute best.

Absolutely stellar service. Removed my old boiler system and all the incorrectly installed piping and put in a new top notch combi unit, with tidy and serviceman-friendly piping. Helped me with rebates, gave me a crash course in how boilers work and how to maintain them, left the space clean and a thousand times more orderly. Friendly guys too!

I have been dealing with them for three years since my uncle's passing. He was a customer and I kept them, because as their name says they are reliable.
Lucy, at the front desk answers most calls and sets appointments. She is the sweetest lady that you can meet.
Steven & Richard Santoro, the owners answers customers emails quickly and efficiently.
Their staff is friendly, punctual for appointments and very efficient. I had to use them for routine maintenance, repairs, emergency and they are always there to help you.
They tried to minimize your discomfort when a furnace stops working.

Excellent service!
My AO Smith water heater needed service for a pilot light that would not stay on. I chose Reliable Fuel after reading reviews and getting a lower estimate $140 (half) for authorized AO Smith service providers. Also I was able to get an appointment the same day. The problem was fixed within an half hour. The best thing is when it was time to pay the technician said to wait a week to see if it works and then send in the payment. Reliable Fuel is a family owned business - from the initial call to completion of the job the service was great, honest and dependable. I highly recommend Reliable Fuel and would use them again
