Customer service is awful. Don't waste your time. Grace actually hung up on me when I was attempting to make an appt. She was rude and unprofessional. Call Shalom instead!!! They were so helpful and came out the next day, no wonder they have over 100 five-star ratings.

I was referred by Edison through the Energy Efficient Program, Reliable Energy came out to replace one of my shower heads in bathroom, before it was replaced the shower worked, but after a new one was installed, water never came out, and some dude named Saul is refusing to fix his mistake, this is very unprofessional, and I will go above and beyond to not recommend this company, I a m in contact with the Gas company and I make sure Reliable Energy loses this account due to their not willing to repair all of their mistakes

Nana S.I had service done with this company through the energy saving program through Edison they came out and installed the air conditioner unit. There wasn't anything wrong with my unit I just wanted to update the unit. However within 2 weeks their air conditioner that they installed was messing up not working. I gave two stars because besides no air the manager Guadalupe did call back so far she's been nice and sent the tech guys back to my home. When the tech guys came they flushed the system and were acting as if nothing was wrong I explained to them that it's not the unit it's the pipe and adapter they installed in the garage he then told me don't worry about that he doesn't know why the manufacturer made it. Umm the adapter is a key part in letting you know if it's about to flood or malfunction. Air came on few days later same thing happens no air coming out vents and yellow light is on adapter called again they come out this time I ask them to change adapter and explained what it was doing. he wanted to disconnect it I ask him why would he do that he then told me it's a lot of complaints about that adapter. But at the same time telling me that it's true about the adapter letting you know. I told him no I just want it changed not disconnected and hopefully it will work. air started working well now a couple days later same issue but this time it's dripping water and solid yellow light on and no air. I left a message now waiting on the company to call me back this time I need a tech that knows and wants to do job this will have to be redone pipe, evaporator, and adapter. Hopefully this can be done correctly it's over 100 degrees. I will give an update on issue

We have the energy savings program and Reliable was the one chosen to come and put a new heater and thermostat in. The installation was fine and they left saying that everything worked perfectly. We realized that our AC wasn't working anymore ( previously had absolutely no problems) but the heater was fine. We called and spoke to Oscar and he started accusing us as if we broke it and his workers were experts that fixed everything. After accusing us, he finally agreed to send someone to check it out. After 3 of his guys came out, 3 separate times to check it, none of them could figure it out saying you need a new AC. It was working perfectly, and you can tell it was a wiring problem. They are obviously not trained! I'm giving them a star because the installation went okay. The guys were nice and did it pretty fast. They respected my home, and I was so nice to them and fed them and made them feel comfortable. The piss off at the end was this fool Oscar. He made us feel like crap being so defensive and all he new how to say is "" I trust my workers."" He made us feel like because it was the energy savings program, he can manipulate us! This is a BS company! Not reliable by any means! Don't know what the hell they're doing! Made us feel like we did something wrong when it was 100% them. After the 3rd guy came and did nothing, I was done! I didn't even want them to fix it anymore! God only knows if they were to fix it and it was wrong, I could see my house explode and "" Oscar"" saying it was our fault, I trust my workers! After all the BS drama, I looked on yelp and found Boming Air. The guy responded, showed up, and fixed it within an hour. Reasonable price too. It WAS the wiring they screwed up and couldn't fix. Like come on! They couldn't figure out something so simple! What a joke!
Sarah G.Don't waste your time. We had an inspector come on Tuesday to check the wall heater, which had no issues. Two days later it's not working.

Will be complaining to social gas company
They were called to do evaluation for energy saving recommendations. They ended up turning off our heater in order to send a tech out for review. Our heater never had any issues prior to them coming. We are in the middle of winter with this weekend lows of 40 with elderly people in the house. I called them multiple times and spoke to the furnace department supervisor Oscar he was rude, trying to brush off on it being a government program and I should have expected that prior to signing up. Instead of addressing my concerns and trying to help he was saying this is what we have to do and you have to wait. Very ruse uneducated guy who ended up hanging the phone on me and canceling my appointment next week for the technician to come out. This is illegal and legal action will be taken. He willingly jeopardized my families health and well being.
Do not get this company to do anything!!! Their inspectors don't know what their doing , give you false alarm and think it's okay to laugh and say theirs nothing they can do and just cancel! First of all they will stop so many unhappy customers if they where upfront since the beginning rather than tell their customers you qualify and at the end they don't!!! WORST company ever as well with their employees!
I'm on the CARE program thru SCE, I guess SCE has-sub-contracted with Reliable for their in home energy upgrades. Saul came to my house last week to install my energy upgrades. He installed a new door threshold in my kitchen, he left my floor with a bulge at the door. He adhered my wall heater to the wall ( without my permission) with 2 metal bands. Put them on crooked and half-assed and damaged my stucco. He put a latch on my waterheater (again, without my permission) put it up with drywall and 2 nails, it looks so darn unprofessional. I would NEVER hire this company, they are totally incompetent !!!

Had a worker named Francisco install a new water heater and he messed up our water lines. If we turned on our hose in our yard we got NO water inside the house, it was like it was completely shut off. Called to have someone come fix this & management was arguing with us saying our lines were already broken yet we have never had any issues until they stepped foot on our property. They sent 2 other workers who fixed that issue BUT NOW everytime we turn on for hot water, no water come out at all. Called again & was going back & forth with management again. Said they'll send someone out again but we'll see if they actually fix this
