Tonya Q.Reliable put a new heat pump and air handler in the upstairs of our house. Two months out of the 12 month warranty, a freon tube failed dumping the freon from the system due to bending fatigue. This was identified as an installation issue due to a vibration a month after the installation and was told the issue was ""resolved"". They would not stand behind it and I hired a competent company to complete the repair for $500.
Now ~ a year later it's around 0 deg ambient and our upstairs is 55 deg F with a set temp of 70 degrees. Either the electric back up is failed or the system was downsized on installation (never had a keep up problem with the old system).
The bottom line, stay away.
