Money hungry, greedy ass business. They offer ""free estimates"" then charge you. The owner thinks he is too good to chat with clients on the phone regarding problems/errors. Extremely high turnover rate also due to the owners shitty attitude.

It took over a year of appointments to get my heater and air conditioner to turn on. Both heater and A/C turn on, but thermostat doesn't read auto temperature or auto adjust to be the correct temperature for the house. After 1 years worth of work and ordering the same part multiple times, I decided to find another company in order to complete the work.

When calling the company to adjust the bill (since I paid for a part that didn't work, but had a warranty) I was told multiple times over a period of 3 months that the owner would call me back. The owner never called me back.

The company gets 1 star for finally taking off a portion of the balance due to incomplete work.

Have used Reid for the last 10 years and they always respond the same day or the next day. Found a water leak under my house on a Saturday morning and someone was there within the hour and fixed it. Just last week my A/C quit and I called them at 8 am and it was fixed by 2 pm that same day and you can bet they were busy as we were have 90 to 100 degree temps that week. I am going to start remodeling my master bathroom and you can bet I will be calling for their plumber again.

I lived in a house that was managed by Reid Rentals, the same people in Reid Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning. The house was cooled by window AC units that were inefficient and so loud that I couldn't keep my bedroom unit on at night, but the property managers couldn't do anything about it apparently. The worst part was definitely the roaches! I wasn't told about the roaches when I moved in, despite asking. The first few times I called about the roaches, I was told they would send a pest inspector over when I was out. That never happened. When I put my foot down, Cathy Reid told me it was my responsibility to pay for it since the roaches ""weren't there"" when I moved in to this multi-family home. (That was a lie. There were canisters of roach spray under the sink when I moved in. That's why I asked them about roaches before moving in....) Luckily, I know the law and managed to get them to pay for one (ONE) treatment. Which didn't get rid of the roaches, of course. Please, NEVER RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE. For your own sake.
