We purchased a house with a water heater installed in 2007. As this heater was corroded and clearly showing its age, to be proactive, we decided to replace it. Ed responded immediately to my call, came and provided an estimate. He was able to schedule the replacement the very next week. He arrived on time, did an excellent job, and left the basement so clean you'd never know he had been there. His pricing is excellent, as is the customer service. I would recommend his business, and will certainly use it again.

DO NOT HIRE. We hired Husbands Helpers & Rehm Mechanical to install Central Air and Heating into our home. The project started on November 23rd, 2020. I had concerns and spoke with Eddie on Monday and questioned alternatives to the setup. He said there were no alternatives. After my husband and I discussed the progress, we had a few more questions. On November 24th, I sent an email to Eddie voicing more concerns and questions. When Eddie arrived, I questioned the ductwork and asked if that met regulations. Eddie said that it met regulation and there were still no alternatives to the work. The bathroom is cluttered with ductwork and a 5 ft vent that protrudes from the wall and less than 6ft from the floor. When we attempt to use the bathroom, we must duck and our heads brush against the ductwork. There are holes in the drywall due to miscalculation. On November 24th, we sent Eddie an email on Tuesday with our decision on bringing in other professionals to get their opinion. When picking up his tools on November 25th, Eddie and his team finally decided to give us other alternatives. When investigated, there were many violations and inadequate work.

Used them a couple times. Every time got better. Ed is very upfront and honest about pricing. If he even thinks that something could potentially go wrong in the repair he lets me know ahead of time and gives me a best and worst case scenario. Highly recommend for plumbing, heating, air conditioning, and electrical. They are very knowledgeable in all areas.

Worst customer service ever. Liked what I had read and heard, but 2 weeks out from estimate and I had not heard a word. I called and asked that someone call me back. A week later still no call. Called to ask why and got yelled at.

On time, very professional, explained everything to me throughout the process and came up with an honest price. I will always use this company thanks to the outstanding service I received. (They also found lots of past mistakes made by other companies and were able to redo that work for me as well. It was disheartening to see how much other companies got over on me)

We purchased a home in late May of 2018. There had been an inspection that gave reassurances the HVAC was working properly. During the summer the air conditioner worked fine. Then the temperature started to drop.
The furnace would randomly turn on and stop within the next couple of minutes. As the outside temperature was in the 50's that did not seem to bother us since we had moved from Chicago. When it dropped to the 30's it became a problem.
Being new to the area, we searched the internet for an HVAC company that could respond quickly since it was a Sunday. After making a couple of calls we were successful when we contacted Eddie Rehm at Rehm Plumbing. He responded immediately and reviewed the situation.
Initially, he replaced a faulty electrical switch and a fuse that seemed to solve the problem. However, it was only part of the problem as the initial problem resurfaced as the temperatures continued to drop.
Once again, we contact Eddie who responded within the hour. The analysis was clear, the electrical control board was failing with additional water damage to the heat exchanger walls and faulty grounding as a result of corroded contacts.
There was only one solution, get a new furnace ASAP. To his credit, Eddie found a replacement and said he would return later in the day with a replacement.
To my surprise, his partner Kenny was here within two hours and started the decommissioning and replacement. Four hours later we had a new reliable furnace and heat; just in time.
Eddie, Kenny and Steve(sp) were a unique team. Throughout the replacement I never heard anyone giving directions. To their credit, they worked as a well-balanced team with each one owning a given task and completing it without any other involvement. I was impressed and thankful.
It was a relief to have chosen Eddie and his team and would recommend them without any reservation.

Diligent service and very fast response to a 5am Saturday morning water pipe burst.

Eddie responded to the call instantly and arrived when promised. He made an immediate repair to return the water supply to our home. Then he outlined a definite long-term solution including an on-the-spot consultation by Ken Husband for future structural and aesthetic repair options. Ken explained the process and defined the timeframe that he would return to evaluate the full extent of the water damage.

The rate for emergency service was right in line with expectations. The approach was clearly customer-focused and team-oriented. This is a local business that I trust and absolutely recommend.
