Chris and David arrived a couple hours after calling for an appointment. Both men were extremely helpful and professional. They did a great job servicing and cleaning our ac unit. Thanks, Regional!

On May 25th David Taylor from Regional Plumbing came out to perform an A/C clean and check. Temperatures that morning were 56 degrees. Days prior to appointment temperatures were in the 80s. Our unit ran perfectly during the heat wave. Unit is only 5 years old and thermostat was 2 years old. The technician could not get the ac to stay on to perform his task. He then quoted my wife $467 for a new thermostat. Stating our thermostat was broken. I then called the office to discuss this issue. I suggested it was too cold outside and that was preventing my carrier unit from running long enough for him to do his task. The lady then told me on top of the $69 cleaning fee I'll have to pay $100 for diagnosing the problem. I refused the diagnostic fee. David then was on the phone with his manager talking through his situation. After numerous resets he was able to perform the checkup. I never needed a new thermostat and I believe in my heart this was an attempt to take advantage of us. I was told are you sure you want us to leave the unit inoperable with the 90s coming that weekend. I said yea it was fine before you showed up and it was an outside air temperature issue in the first place. I purposely waited a while to post the review to see how things turned out with my inoperable unit. It's June 15th and everything has been running as it should. Once again it's time to find another hopefully honest company.

All I'm going to say is get a second opinion they were called out to fix a problem in my home quoted me 3000 out of pocket for a outside clean out told me it's was a code called and found out it's not code it's optional to the owner to have one only required on NEW construction and documentation was falsified and sent to my warranty company I guess to get more money the city sewer ppl told me my line was half of what they claimed to have rodded and it wasn't possible to go that far and it was no busted pipe!! They also told me for the amount they was charging I could get my whole sewer line replaced ALWAYS GET A 2ND OPINION!!

Thad came out and charged us $1700 to clean out the water heater. He seemed so nice and knowledgeable. I live out of town so he spoke with me on the phone and told me what needed to be done. My mom called him back out to give an estimate for a clogged outside drain and he was so rude and dismissive to my elderly mom. This time the quote was $1400, but this time he treated her like trash. I wish I had've been there.

Very disappointed - bought new furnace and AC in November 2021 and everything was fine until I turned on the AC in May 2022, two weeks later on Memorial day it stopped working, when a service person arrived they told me the outdoor unit was completely fried, they thought a lighting strike but there was no visible damage so I doubt that is what happened. They installed a new outdoor unit and also replaced the lines to the indoor unit. Less than 6 weeks later it also stopped working. On Friday a service person thought there was a leak but the pressure was fine so obviously no leak. When they came back out on Monday, the new service person confirmed no leak and got unit running again. Two days later is stopped again and this time it was determined to replace the blower motor and circuit board. During one call i was told to check the cooling coil and in fact it was frozen and on the first call there was all kinds of water on unit and floor but service techs were clueless.
I was never offered any kind of apology despite the fact i was without air conditioning for nearly two weeks during this hot summer.

My toilet valve was leaking. It had an odd type of flapper cover. I described my problem, I told Regional that I was certain the tank mechanisms would have to be fully replaced. Two plumbers came in a few days. They looked at the toilet and came to the same conclusion as I had stated. They had to go to the hardware store to purchase a replacement as they did not have one on their truck. Arriving back at my home in 10 minutes, one plumber proceeded to remove and replace the entire tank mechanism. It took less than 7 minutes. I was charged $370.05. There was no need for two plumbers (one might possibly have been learning) and the cost for 17 minutes total and a tank mechanism assembly was, in my opinion, exorbitant. I will not use their services again.

I am a business owner that leases my commercial building. The landlord was ordered to have the plumbing redone; he contacted Regional Plumbing. They came in on quite a big job- that required them to schedule with me; since they had to do all the work inside of my business; that I OWN. I scheduled them to come the week I was off for vacation; and told my employees that they could not work those days; due to water being shut off.. to make this as short as possible... pulling them up on my camera while I'm 9 hours away; from the start- was to say the least horrific. I watched my business get torn upside down... ZERO respect! They bent, broke & left over half of the ceiling tiles out- we have 3 buckets currently out from leaks we didn't even have before; they got plumbing glue on everything!! It was a disaster!!! We also opened our camera the night they said they finished the job; to see my business door WIDE open, lights on & no one there! They didn't even lock it up!!! I can not express this enough; how unethical this company is; how disrespectful & absolutely unprofessional. I have videos & photos on my Facebook review on their Facebook page. If I could load it to this review; I would!
The owner had zero remorse..
I worked so hard to create my business & for people to come in to fix a problem & created many more, is heartbreaking!
The owners only concern was who signed his contract & who paid the bill.
He spoke down to me as the owner of the place of business, & had no respect towards me.
I hope they are ashamed of themselves

This place sucks! Of course no plumbing problem ever happens during a week day. Regional was contacted by NIPSCO Home Solutions, who we have our warranty service with, they said they would do it for a $99 emergency fee since it was a Friday night. Fine, I'll pay it, but after hearing the situation their tech said sorry, I am not authorized to do after hour emergency calls. He said they could come Wednesday. What?! It says right on their website they do emergency calls 24/7. What a joke!

Thad came over, went to my leaking shower drain and rooted it out for a few minutes, did not clean up his mess, came downstairs to talk to me and ordered me to put my barking dog outside so I could hear what he had to say, which was that he had no idea what to do or how much it would cost. I was dumb enough to comply. Neither of us knew the gate was open and when the mailman brought my dog to the door I flipped out. Thad acted angry and immediately gave me the bill ($336 for a few minutes of rooting out the drain). I finally called Weiler. Karl fixed the problem completely for half the price and was not disrespectful and angry like Thad from Regional was.

Through our water and sewer line protection contract we were advised we would be required to use Regional Plumbing to determine why we had a sewer smell in the yard and inside the garage.

Regional techs arrived and used a camera to check the lines. They identified three areas they felt were problems and provided an estimate for repair. I confirmed twice with the tech on site that the estimate would need to include repair of all three areas.

We received the estimate and saw that only two of the three areas were specifically identified but the third problem was not specified in the estimate. We called Regional, and through their secretary asked again to confirm that all the problems, including the third area that needed repair, was included in this estimate. The secretary contacted the tech who prepared the estimate and assured us that the tech said ""yes"", the third area was included in the estimate. After this confirmation, we then scheduled the repair.

The owner of Regional and a tech arrived and began work. Two of the three areas were repaired. We asked the owner and the tech if they were going to repair the third area. The owner gave a ""thumbs up"" but said that he was going to try to contact the protection contract rep to see if they would cover that repair. It was our understanding that we would pay the entire estimate for repair of all three areas and if the protection contract company covered any of the repairs, we would be reimbursed for those portions of the estimate. The owner said he had to leave to check on some other jobs they were doing that day. He promised to return and camera the lines again as soon as their camera was repaired. We thought he would be completing the third repair when the camera was fixed.

For over a week we continued to try to contact the owner of Regional, to find out when they would be returning to fix the last area. We received no return call. We were finally able to get in touch with the second in command who reviewed the information we had given him, spoke with the owner and determined that no additional work would be done without additional cost to us.

I wouldn't use Regional again, nor would I recommend them to anyone in the future due to their bait and switch tactics in billing, apparent amnesia when it comes to remembering what was agreed upon, lack of professionalism, and non-responsiveness. As others have mentioned in their reviews of Regional, we also felt ""shook down"" when it came time to pay as they wanted all the money noted in the estimate under a guise that they would return and complete the job. We definitely were misled by this company. Common sense would lead anyone to know that the estimate should have included all three areas requiring repair identified by them, not just two of the three. We are not plumbers, therefore we sought clarification, twice when we first requested the estimate and again when reviewing the estimate, and were assured all three times that all three areas were included. Apparently common sense does not prevail with this company and in fact, when we specifically asked ""why would Regional's estimate only include two of the three areas that Regional identified as problems?"" the second in command didn't have an answer and quickly changed the subject. Regional is not concerned with common sense, only dollars and cents!
