Called for dishwasher install in my home which never had a dishwasher. This entailed attaching water line and drain hose to existing plumbing and rearranging the trap. Not a major job yet the first quote the Reeves technician gave me was $859, more than I even paid for the dishwasher. I asked if that was the best he could do and he lowered it by $50. I ended up having a plumber do the job for $300. I complained to the company and one of the Reeves emailed me back saying the best he could do would be $549. Why would they not have quoted that number initially? This is why service providers cannot be trusted. ALWAYS ALWAYS get 3 estimates!
Joseph M.i had my house flood and reeves was the plumbing company that i chose for all of the plumbing work because special considerations needed to be taken to re-do and re-route plumbing and waste lines in a professional and to code manner while at the sdame time taking cost into consideration. jack laid down a plan that was executed nicely. any hiccup that arrose was addressed immediatly. i would reccomend this plumbing company to anyone. we are now back in our home and its nice to look at the quality of work.
I'm new in town and need some work on our new house and they were the ones who came first.
They totally impress me from the beginning with their professionalism and teamwork.
If I need anything more done they will be the first and the only one I call. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for AC or heating or plumbing work.
It's hard to find this kind of quality work and someone who care about their work as they do.
I got lucky on my first call.
Plumbers came out and started out saying we would be at $450. I agreed. 10 min later he comes back and says he called his boss and actually we would be at $650. They then diagnosed the issue and tried snaking my main sewer drain. Said they would need a larger snake or we would have to tear up the front yard for $3800. I said I'd like to try the larger snake to avoid a huge bill. They got the larger snake and then 5 min later said they didn't even want to try because they were worried about getting it stuck. I said I would hold off on the larger repair until I looked into it more.
The next morning the office calls and says they'd like to get their senior guy out to try and unclog the drain. I said I was td they couldn't get the larger snake in. The Office said oh we were told that the plumber forgot a part so they couldn't do it and they wanted to send their senior guy out because he was great with drains. So the price originally shot up $200 when I had already agreed on a price, then I'm being told one thing and the office another on snaking the drain. What if I had went ahead and just did the $3800 repair because I felt pressured? This kind of service is unacceptable and I am very disappointed with the back and forth.

Update: after declining to have their senior plumber Jack come out to try and fix the problem, Claire from the office called me again and said that they were going to refund me my money and send Jack out to try and fix the issue without charge. They said they would want me to remove the 1 star review I posted to do this. I told them I would consider removing the review if they made things right. I was told Jack was on a job in Akron and would come over right after. Fast-forward to 5pm and I never heard anything. I called the office and got a return call from Jack. He said that Claire tried to call me a few times so he could come out sooner but I did not answer. This is not true and I never received any calls from Claire. Jack said he was going to a job in Lakewood and asked if he could come in the morning. I mentioned I was upset that I wasn't called and have been waiting around all afternoon after being told Jack was coming out to ensure this gets worked out and they weren't going to charge me. Jack then said they don't do work for free and stated he was around Claire a lot today and she never said that. I told him this is what happened and I wouldn't make something like this up. Jack basically called me a liar and said he would call the owner. Jack then called me back and said they were going to refund me my payment made for this first day of service and decline to do any further business.
This company has lied to me multiple times, called me a liar, and is now going back on what they told me. Completely ridiculous.
Highly recommend. They came out the very next day to do a walk through and give advice on what services to perform. The actual repair process was smooth and the techs were professional and polite.
My kitchen sink was clogged and they could not fix. They recommended cutting up my floor to replace The pipe. Charged me 150.00 to not fix it. I fixed it myself with two bottles of Draino. Then they shortened a gas line for me and them never relit the pilot for the hot water tank and I've spent all weekend with no hot water. To top that off my stove now has flames that are way too high. Called in complaint Saturday and still have. It heard back apparently because it's not an emergency and they already have my cash
My basement is pushing up sewer water, I called Reeves to come check it out with their camera. Jack and Eddie came to my home. First they introduced themselves and asked what was going on. They came to realize that my crock system in basement is incorrectly hooked up and one pipe is not hooked to anything basically. Jack called his boss to find out if they would be able to do such a job, they were able to write me an estimate on the spot for repairs. Jack explained every line item and what it meant, leaving no questions. The team from Reeves was very professional and polite. Have a great day Jack and Eddie.
Lulu J.I was sitting at a stop light behind 2 Reeves vans in Cleveland Hts., Ohio, and was very disappointed when I saw an empty MTN Dew can get tossed out the window. The driver in the 1st truck got out of his truck, ran to the second truck and poured a bottle of water on the driver of the second truck, then ran back to his truck before the light turned green. I guess they were playing a game with each other, but I don't appreciate them littering in my community.
Phil provides us with a quick diagnostic and fixed our furnace in a timely manner. Everything was completed same day.. Very friendly and polite. Would definitely use this company in the future as well as recommend to friends and family!
This is my second experience with Reeves, and it was a good one (as was the first). Our hot water tank needed to be replaced. Jim stopped out first and gave the inspection and estimate. He is easy to talk to, and just a straight-forward kind of guy. I appreciate that. The next day, Mark and Tom removed the old hot water tank and installed a new one. They were professional, but not overly formal. Again, easy to talk to. They were also conscientious about keeping things as neat and clean as they could. They handled the install without any problems and took away the old tank. I will call them again for any plumbing or heating issues I have.
