Recommended Customer Reviews

On December 23 I called about having a hot water heater replaced. I've been went to Lowe's to get the hot water heater they showed up a few minutes after I had arrived at my property. Within an hour and 10 minutes not only was it installed but I had hot water. Great service and very reliable. I don't understand all the negative reviews about this company they did a great job at a fair price. I will definitely use them again and I encourage others to use them as well.

If you will notice most of the good reviews are from years ago and the bad reviews are recently. I don't know what has gone on in this company the past 4-5 years but they have gone downhill!!! Communication is horrible! There is none! I have been dealing with them for a week on our AC. And still waiting......

We were assigned Reese HTG &A/C by Sears Home Warranty, which is actually administered by Countrywide Home Warranty. The technician would call and say that he is on his way and then never show up. We called back and he was unreachable. We were told that WE were unreachable, but there were no missed calls on our cell phones or the answering machine where they had supposedly left a message. When we called them the next day, Katy said she knew nothing about it. We were not even on their schedule. Finally the technician came, said your Freon is low, supposedly filled the Freon and they called to set up appointment next week. Again next week, the technician called to say he is on his way, again no show. When we called the call would go to his voice mail. We finally switched to a different company.

On October 23, 2015 I called Reese Plumbing for a water heater not working at a rental house. The tenant had notified me late the previous night. She said she was unable to light the pilot light. Dispatch said they could have someone out in the afternoon that same day, on a Friday! That was impressive. The young man, "Bob", that arrived that afternoon was pleasant. He checked the water heater and said the pilot light was lite. The dial was still set on Pilot Lighting and all that was needed was to turn up the heat setting to A, B, C or Very Hot. He was there less than 10 mins and charged me $85.00!! I know that is the hourly rate for Plumbers but he said that was company policy. I feel that was a ripoff! The plumber even said "I don't think they will charge you anything because I didn't do anything." He was definitely wrong. I think the right thing for the company to do was charge me $40.00 because I know drive time was involved and a professional was being sent out. I own/manage seven rental properties in Lubbock and am not pleased with the service I received from Reese Plumbing. I wish they would reconsider their "company policy" on hourly charges when there turns out to not be an issue which can be determined in less than 10 mins.
