Reeis
Company Overview
Established in 2009, Reeis is a locally owned and operated service provider, offering complete home solutions for homeowners in Arizona, such as air conditioning, plumbing, electrical, heating, and insulation. Our whole-home strategy focuses on providing enduring comfort, energy efficiency, and peace of mind through skilled diagnostics, quality repairs, and customized solutions. No matter if it’s urgent air conditioning or plumbing repairs, system enhancements, or scheduled maintenance, our experienced team is focused on delivering honest, fair, and high-value solutions. Additionally, we offer the Happy Home Club, a convenient membership that includes yearly maintenance for air conditioning, plumbing, and electrical systems, plus a filter subscription, priority scheduling, discounts, and additional benefits. At Reeis, we are committed to doing things differently—and we promise you’ll appreciate our presence. I started Reeis after noticing that conventional A/C contractors delivered incomplete solutions to their customers. With my background in home building, I understood that a home operates as a cohesive system, with each part influencing the others. Focusing on just one component while overlooking others results in an inadequate solution. Research from the National Comfort Institute shows that the average new A/C installation only achieves 57% of its cooling capacity. Regrettably, the industry has lagged in making necessary improvements. Our technicians at REEIS receive training in home performance, air conditioning, and airflow. We take the time to conduct essential tests to identify what your home requires to enhance its health, comfort, and energy efficiency. Our method leads to superior outcomes.

TLDR: Poor quality products, poor craftsmanship, and if anything goes wrong they'll find any way to make it your fault.
Our AC went out 5 years ago and we contacted Reeis for a replacement. Based on all the good reviews online and being promoted by Rosie on the House, we thought we were making the best decision. The sales process of buying a new unit went smoothly but that's where it ended.
After the AC was installed I found that they did not wire up the new AC correctly. Only one stage of the AC was able to turn on and the technician argued that it was wired correctly; turns out it they were missing a ground line connection. During the sales process, we had included the installation of a secondary return vent which was not done at the time of install and I had to argue with a tech to get it done.
The AC has had a major failure EVERY year since it's been installed. Most recently we spent the Labor Day holiday ( with outside temps reaching above 105F ) without any air conditioning due to the compressor failing (at this point the unit is only 4 years old). They ordered a new one since the unit is still under warranty, but they refused to overnight the part, and due to it being a holiday weekend we were unable to get the repair done for a few more days. The internal temperature of the house reached above 90F during this time.
Upon selling our house the inspector found multiple issues with the system. The breaker was not properly sized, the wiring was not properly terminated, grommets were missing, the fan was leaking oil, the list goes on. I had to pay $700 in repairs for their poor craftsmanship and they claimed all this was my fault even though they've been out every year to work on it.
A one star review is being generous at this point. I've never had so much trouble with an air conditioner before. I don't believe this company stands behind the products they sell. With how frequently the unit needs to be fixed, I also question the competency of the repair technicians. When spending over $10K on an AC unit I'd expect it to work without flaw for many years. I don't normally write reviews, but I feel other consumers should know the trouble we've had with Reeis and consider taking your business elsewhere.
The attached images are of few examples of Reeis' poor craftsmanship taken by a home inspector.
They installed 4 units for my remodel 2 years ago. I have to have a gas valve replaced in one of the units, diagnosed by Southwest Gas to discover the gas leak. I called them to service it and they told me it would be $150 to come out, and after many questions I asked them how much a replacement of the valve would cost. The phone rep told me that it would not be covered under warrantee because I did not sign up for annual maintenance, and that the charge would be anywhere from $700 to $1500.
I called Crane to get their suggestion for a service for Trans, they gave me Reliance. Over the phone she looked up my unit, said it was under warrantee, and put me on hold to check if the part was available, it was, and they sent a technician the same day.
Reeis is dishonest, rude and overpriced.
William W.The A/C air handler that was in our home filled up with condensation and our ceiling fell through. After paying to fix the ceiling we called Reeis to install a brand new setup (condenser and air handler) as well as add insulation to the whole attic. Shortly after install, the brand new air handler filled up with condensation and leaked on our new insulation and new ceiling. The air handler was fixed and the team went up to ensure there was no mold.
During the winter, the new unit makes a banging noise. After two winters, a tech was finally able to find the cause in the third winter. Reeis was able to send out a tech to secure the lines and reduce the knocking so it is barely audible now.
After being in the attic figuring out the cause of the knocking, the tech told me that there were spots in the attic that didn't have much insulation. Reeis sent out a team to fill in any spot that needed.
I can trust that Reeis stands behind their work. I would recommend this business to others.

Chris L.Last night, just before bedtime, one of our AC units shut down. Never a good thing in 100 degree heat. These units are old enough to legally drink. We were/are planning on replacing them but were waiting until the fall to do this.
I called REEis, who have been servicing our systems since we moved here 10+ years ago, and left a message on their after hours emergency line. The recording stated that someone would call back. They did... 15 minutes later. The were extremely helpful and reassuring. I was told that they would have someone there first thing in the morning. They did. At 7 AM their service technician was here and had the system running again in 20 minutes. We still need to replace them but at least now we can be cool while the order is in place.
Saskia B.3rd time is a charm ... Lol.
This company is very disappointing!
3rd time that they're a NO CALL NO SHOW for an appointment. How professional, right?
We have things to do, places to be. We made arrangements so we can be on location for the appointment.
NO CALL NO SHOW 3rd time... Would you want this happened to you???
Reached out several times. Only VM.
Do yourselves a massive favour and use another company.
Jose B.Disappointed with this company and it's inability to communicate with there customer... they have now no show'd me twice which both times I took time off work to accommodate the time they said they would be in. I sent them a message asking what was going on and got no response back. Not a company I would recommend to any friends or family.
Barbara K.We had Johnny come to help with some problems. Ee couldn't get our thermostats regulated. He spent a long time and is returning to be sure everything is correct. Annie in the office was great!
Dennis arrive within the promised time frame to perform our A/C maintenance. He was polite, friendly and professional. He explained what he was going to do as part of his service and then presented us with a detailed list of his findings when he was finished. He recommended a couple of items that needed attention, which I already thought there might be issues with these items. He explained the repair costs, which seemed reasonable and then did the repair work. Upon completion he again asked if we had any questions. Great job Dennis!
A.O. K.I have been working with another air-conditioning company on their annual maintenance plan but they became suspect when they told me I need to replace my entire AC system due to a noisy fan.
Antonio came out from REEIS and diagnosed a faulty capacitor supporting the fan. He checked everything else out and promptly replaced the capacitor and the unit sounded great. I joined REEIS comfort club and look forward to having my system checked every six months. Antonio explained everything and even showed me his multi meter with readings to explain why things were working and not working. Excellent contractor experience!
