I received such great service from this plumbing company. Mike came out first and he is very familiar with my house. He assessed my need for a hot water heater and was ready to install it. Since it was later in the day I asked that the installation of the new heater be put off until the next day. Mike was very willing to work late but I preferred to wait. Alex and Jesus came in the morning at exactly the time I was quoted. They told me exactly what was going to happen and they were done in about 2 and 1/2 hours. The bill was exactly as quoted by Mike. I felt that the bill was reasonable for the work and materials provided. Mike, Alex and Jesus are all very respectful and friendly. I recommend Red's On Time Plumbing without reservation.

TOO EXPENSIVE: Clogged bathtub drain. Yes. They unclogged it. Cost 89$ service fee + 246$ to run a snake through the pipe = 335$ to clear a drain. I own units in nice part of Los Angeles. Do drains all the time. Have never paid more than 165$ for the same result. AND YES, ""Red's On Time Plumbing"" also ""offered"" an opportunity for a tip to be added to the bill as well. (Which my son, who was present during the work and is unexperienced in these matters gave!!!) Given these rates I'd like to believe their employees are adequately compensated without needing a tip subsidy. I called Reds to complain and Jessica (at other end of phone) offered to inform management, but I have not heard back. There has to be more reasonably priced plumbers in the area.

On June 11 I had Reds Plumbing come to do a small job at our house. The plumber told me it would be $500. I thought that was outrageous but I was in a bind, so I authorized the work. The work took about 1 hour to complete. That's when I knew I'd been had. I did all the digging for the job. Here's their summary of the work.

Does that sound like $500 worth of work to you? Me neither. They sent me a bill for $589. That's $89 for the parts it took 1 hour to install and $500 to cover the authorized work. Really $89 on top of the already outrageous $500!

I paid $500. If you want to get SCREWED call Reds Plumbing.

I'm new to the area, and have tried three different, well reviewed plumbing companies as I have done work to remodel my home. I would have to say Red's has been my clear favorite. Clear, reasonable pricing. Excellent, detailed work ( done with care ). And just a very friendly, customer focused team. They really want to understand what is important to you, to disrupt your home and day as little as possible, and then ensure they have fixed things exactly as you would want before they leave. And as their name implies - they actually are ""on time"" ( usually early ). And everyone is friendly, personable, and makes you feel important as their customer. Five stars on the work. And probably Six stars ( if it were possible ) on their customer focus.

If you want fair, transparent pricing - along with on time, exceptional work done with a focus on you as the customer, I couldn't recommend Red's more highly.

Red's Plumbing replaced a water heater for me. Every aspect was done with total professionalism. And Oscar and Philipe were very nice to deal with. My cold water valve was a gate valve that was not quite completely shutting off and they said it was probably still good enough. I asked them to replace it anyway with a better quality ball valve. This shows they don't try to sell you things you don't need. They upgraded my gas valve and setup to bring them up to code (they were at one time, but the code has changed.) They have an extremely well equipped truck and I imagine they can do almost anything without having to ""go get parts.""

Red's replaced my gas water heater with a heat pump water heater that purrs like a kitten while keeping me supplied with plenty of low-cost hot water. They did a great job with a somewhat complicated installation because my gas water heater wasn't installed according to code. This one was done right! And they helped me get a $3,300 rebate, as well!
