We were referred to this HVAC company since we are new to the area, and haven't used anyone else. What a terrible mistake. I hope if you are reading this, you call someone else. Todd is the owner, and he sent one of his techs to the house. As we thought, there was no refrigerant in the unit, so that had to be refilled, and since there was no ovious leak, the tech suggested a leak kit. He did give us a price for the R410 refrigerant that seemed very high to me..$250 lb-I questioned it and he assured me this was a fair price. The A/C was not working, it was a 90 degree day, he was there late instead of the scheduled 1PM, and we trusted the source of the referral. The bill was $1800 for this service. Next day I called several other HVAC bsinesses in the area and was shocked at how badly we were overcharged(ripped off actually). The cost per lb from ""Best for Less"" was $89-not $250!!! The leak kit should have been $350 and we were charged $475. It took me 2 days to reach Todd, and he said he would not change the bill. Those were his prices.
So, if you have plenty of money, and don't mind being overcharged, use Todd at Red Line. Otherwise, use someone else or check the price before trusting them to do the right thing by you.

We've been dealing with Redline with our new build home for months, over various issues as Redline is the contractor for the builder of our home. In these interactions, our issues were not always resolved, but the technicians were professional.

Today, Derek came to our home for the first time. Did not resolve the issue, told me I was a liar, refused to address me directly (Im a woman) and instead only spoke to my husband, and walked out of the house. He said I was a liar when I pointed out that one of our registers doesn't work with AC ( a fact that is well documented because Redline came in the summer for that very issue, but failed to resolve it-- they suggested covering the vent so I don't notice it anymore)

Overall, the 3 Redline technicians I've dealt with over multiple interactions with were incompetent; and Derek in particular was very disrespectful!

Derek is the man! I have A rental property that other companies could not identify why our AC wasn't working, Derek came out Took the entire unit apart not only identified the major issue but also identified several others that could have been catastrophic. I truly appreciate him telling me about that instead of just waiting to be called back to fix it again.
