Our roots extend to the 1800s, giving Redlands & Henry Bush Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning a proud heritage. Terry Vernon Davenport launched a small plumbing and tinning venture in Redlands, CA, marking the beginning of our story. Soon after, Terry brought his son-in-law, Harry Higdon, on board and became his mentor.

In the same year, Henry Fisher founded a plumbing and heating enterprise known as the Redlands Plumbing Company. Ultimately, in 1938, Henry sold his company to Harry Higdon.

The name changed to Redlands Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning, and Tyler Miner started working part-time in 1991 while he was a high school student.

Following his education and training in plumbing and HVAC, Tyler took ownership of the company in 2008. Tyler remains the owner and president of Redlands & Henry Bush, thanks to his unwavering commitment.

Being a long time customer, on Mon 7/27 I made an appt for Josh for Wed from 12-5pm. Called Wed and was told a different plumber would be coming. No phone call all afternoon so I called and was told Robert was finishing a job. He showed up after 6pm. Very nice man, installed new fill valves on 2 toilets. Next day, water was running in 1 toilet tank. Called Fri 7/31Regis said plumber could come that afternoon 12-5. Told her couldn't be home till 1pm so she kept arguing that it had to be 12-5. Robert came late afternoon. Next day water continually running again in tank so called Mon 8/3 for 8-12 appt. Regis called at 10:30 said plumber on his way. At noon, no plumber. Tomorrow scheduled for 8-12 again. Will the plumber show up tomorrow?

Service Tech Josh Rosbrugh was knowledgable, informative and very polite. Work done in a timely fashion. Love the fact that one Tech was able to work on both plumbing AND AC and got everything working again. Although the bill was twice what I had expected, Josh's work was thorough and we would use him again. Thank you for service Josh and Redlands/Henry Bush Plumbing.

I made an appointment and requested Randy to do the service which he has done for many years. Well they sent another plumber who unlike Randy did not give me an estimate and repaired the flapper on the toilet which took around 15 minutes. On our sink he did minor adjustments to the sink stopper. The bill came out to be 244$ which seemed high. The invoice he told me would be sent to my e-mail. Well the invoice had only the total 244$ and no itemized costs. I have been with Redlands(AKA Henry Bush) since 1976 and now will chance to one of 2 other plumbers with high yelp ratings in the Redlands area

Unfortunately we went with this company for our plumbing issue. We had a water main blockage which led to waste in our front yard. When the guy came out he just would not listen or wait to see if the blockage was clear. After just catching him as he was leaving to report that the blockage in the kitchen was not fixed. He stayed to complete the work. He then snaked the pipes and the snake broke our toilet. After being told someone would contact us he left and told us not to use the toilet. Two days later I was contacted by the company asking if the plumber could return right then. As I work for a living, I asked if he could come later on in the day when I was able to arrange for time off. I was told he would be here at 130. It is now almost 230 and he is not here yet. After calling they said he had trouble at his last site and would get here within the hour.

Needless to say I will not be going with this company again and I advise other against it especially for plumbing. I am sitting in my kitchen not getting paid and waiting for someone to fix something they broke. I am so glad I had to use my sick time for this. I could have stayed at work. Not to mention the inconvenience of not having a toilet.

You won't be sorry if you choose Redlands Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. to do work for you. They're professionals who take pride in doing a good job. We just had them put in a whole new HVAC system in our house. They were on time every morning, worked all day and were more than happy to answer my questions about the work. We'll definitely call them if we ever need plumbing help.

Called early morning regarding a fully stopped main sewer line. The person advised they would be out between 9-10 am. At about 10:30, we received a call saying they would arrive at 12:00. By 1:10 they had not arrived so I called them and they advised the technician was just finishing up his first call and he would be coming by as soon as he had lunch. Well, by 3:20 he still had not arrived (either he is a very slow eater or was not ""almost finished"" with his last job). I called back yet again and was told the plumber kept running into problems on his last job. It appears they only have one plumber. In two of the last times I called them, the technician that responded advised that they were actually AC/Heating technicians. I would not call them unless you like wasting your time waiting for a response.

Needed AC repair as mine wasn't cooling as well as it used to. They arrived at the designated time and the tech appeared to be very helpful. He spent a couple of hours trying to diagnose the problem and left not really telling me anything...but left me with a bill for $240.
He said he refilled my coolant and cleaned the compressor outside. I was told I had a leak and he kept filling coolant and it wasn't changing his gauges, so he stopped and wanted to ""save"" me money. He then told me in order for them to tell me if they could even fix the leak, they would have to take apart the evaporator and it would cost me upwards of $700-$800 and then they might not even be able to fix the leak. He recommended a whole new system and referred me to ""their guy"" to come and give me a quote.
Well the guy came by a couple days later and I was given quotes ranging from $10K-$16K!! I could buy a new car for that price. But of course they then pushed the HERO program to help finance it. By the way, the first guy never even cleaned my compressor. I looked in their when I had a second opinion come by and it was filthy!!
Since then I have had other AC repair techs from another company come by and they have found the leak using their diagnostic equipment and also said the coolant was overfilled which was causing the loud noise I heard afterwards.
Overall for such a reputable long standing company I found them to be shady, charging for work that wasn't done and really giving me no options for repair but tried to up sell me into a whole new system that I clearly cannot afford.
Disappointing....

Another Mom story lol. My mom had one of her pipes bust at her house today. I've had a few competitors (AVIS) in the past come and fix things and the end result was having Henry Bush Plumbing come and fix it right. But It's seems like when the other companies saw my mom they just tried to take advantage of her, and over charge her! oh yeah, and not fix the problem. But I found a winner with this company! the quality of work, and them being completely honest is going to make me call them every time.

Came out for a visit to my mom, to find out her ac was blowing hot air. Great, it's a weekend. Great they were open on Saturday! I went into the shop when they opened. Told them my predicament, from mom's issue to I needed to pay from a distance. fully understanding I wouldn't get a appointment until next week. Just like I thought. Monday. Better than not at all. Then all of a sudden, 2 hours later, I get a call saying if I was still there, they would be there within a hour! Perfect! Makes it less stressful being able to talk to the guy instead of back and forth on phone. He tested all it of stuff, even tried doing a couple fixes. But no. The original installer fucked up the wiring and power loaded with wrong size breakers etc. He (Roy villegas) really tried his hardest to make sure replacing the 3 year piece of crap unit... with the smell of Electrical fire, no avail. Gave us a quote, was pretty average, so here I now thought I had to wait a few weeks. Nope. He will be out Wednesday for install. Very professional, and I will definitely be keeping his card for future use!

About three years ago, A/C problems; they said it was a failed capacitor...paid almost $400 for the repair. 7 days later, A/C goes out again. This time they said I needed a new unit. They quoted me a very high price and would not give me any credit from the previous repair if I hired them, nor a refund for misdiagnosing the problem in the first place. So despite what they say, I would argue that they do not guarantee their work. Hopefully customer service has improved since my experience.
