Joe arrived at a good time, spent an hour or so inspecting the home for leaks, he found a few, noted them and checked the meter. He recommended a total re-direct and repipe for 18,500. Price is okay, he did provide options for payment. Prices are up throughout the economy, understandable. Thanks for the service.

Had a plumbing emergency at my rental unit in Grand Terrace on August 15, 2022. They gave me a quote over the phone, did the work, and charged me $1718 for a few valves and regulator.

I think it was outrageous.

Marshall Mathews called me on 8/24/22 and asked if I authorized the work and the quote which I did.

But I believe they were gauging me.

They did not provide me with a written quote nor an itemized detail of charges, although Marshall promised that he would.

We recently had a major cast iron pipe failure in our kitchen drain line where we had to replace the entire pipe from the back of my Redlands house to the front. It was a three-day job and eye-popping unexpected five-figure expense that required tearing up part of the concrete foundation to remove and replace the failed line. But the job was completed very professionally, with care to protect paintings, books, furniture, and nearby surfaces as much as possible from dust. Deserving special recognition are Marshall Mathis, who drew up and supervised the project, and Vicente Castillo, who managed the work on site and even voluntarily came over one day very early before his regular work hours to move back our heavy dining room furniture with a co-worker, with no expectation of compensation for these services.

Then even more recently a toilet began spewing and leaking water when the water pressure regulator failed, and we had to replace both the pressure regulator and the toilet. Plumber Richard Tirado arrived in the morning to assess the problem, and, after replacing the water pressure regulator, that same afternoon installed a new Toto toilet, which is now functioning well.

Over the course of several decades I have found Redlands & Henry Bush Plumbing plumbers to be honest and skilled workmen who quickly respond to needed calls for service. Prices quoted for parts and services have almost always been on the high side compared with their competitors, but the high cost is offset by reliability, quick response, and fine workmanship. One time when I was getting a second quote after another company had told me that full replacement of an air conditioner was needed, I was saved thousands of dollars when the Redlands Plumbing plumber pointed out a tiny leak he discovered in a metal part, which he quickly repaired at a relatively nominal cost. After adding some Freon, the unit worked perfectly again for years. So, Redlands & Henry Bush Plumbing will remain my go-to plumbing company for plumbing, heating, and air conditioning needs in Redlands.

I have used this service for 14 years. The quality of the service is very good. That said on the website supposedly they have a 24 hr service. On 31August2022 at approximately 10:30 pm the fan on my A/C that pulls air over the condenser coils went out. This causes the compressor to overheat and shutdown. This happened about 10:25 pm and has happened before. I called HenryBusch plumbing to see if I could get immediate service. I was not called back and I persisted and finally spoke to ""Wes"" and he said that they can only be available up to about 1130 pm. So why then do they advertise ""24 hr service""?

I highly recommend this company. Marshall really came through when my AC went down. The technician
was clean, polite, and explained everything that was wrong with my unit. He had all of the parts needed and didn't have to schedule another trip. Tried calling another company and they had to order the parts and wouldn't get out for two days. I called this morning and my a/c is fixed same day.

I called them for an emergency repair. They came and completed the repair. However they over charged me by many times what it would cost. DONOT use them unless you want to OVER PAY.

Unfortunately I wasted my time driving over to this business. Anyway, as I approached the parts counter an old unpleasant man, Douglas, was asked if they carry Jacuzzi brand faucet parts to which he remain silent and glazed at me. He finally came to and said, "" I know what a Jacuzzi is "" I explained, which I shouldn't of had too, that it was a plumbing product sink faucets etc. still coming out of his coma he shook his head and mumbled something. Anyway, I walked out and went to another local plumbing store for service. You guys do the same!
