I have an old home and yesterday, one of the outside faucets, just blew right off the house! Had to get the city to come turn off the water. I called several plumbers and and left messages. Mr Rooter offered to come out within 2 hours and said an estimate would be $169,depending what the problem was..........the pipe was open to the outside, the threads were showing. EIther the faucet was old or cracked or something the way the faucet blew right off..........but all this guy had to do was screw on a new faucet..............he said his boss told him to charge me $180.............I asked for a receipt and he said his boss would have to do that. The guy was just rude........... I think Mr Rooter scammed an old lady in a difficult situation. I am the daughter of a plumber and can't imagine my father ever charging anyone that much for a simple job. I appreciate that they came out, but I won't be recommending them to anyone. Still haven't gotten a receipt, though I called this morning...........the man on the phone said next time, they would give me a senior discount!!!! I told him there wouldn't be a next time. Intend to do some research now and find an honest, reliable plumber so if i ever have an emergency again, I will know someone.......lesson learned!!!!

Rooter came out in good time and got a valve replaced. When the city turned our water back on (and it took awhile, so the tech couldn't stay around) the hot water wouldn't work around the house. I contacted the technician. His schedule was full but said he would try. After three days without hot water, I call the company. They send me to the manager who sends me a text ""Hello, this is Michael with Mr. Rooter Plumbing. We have decided to not return to your home for service. Please contact a different Plumbing company for your future Plumbing needs. Thank you."" I call and and get brushed off very quickly, saying you did not pay, since I was waiting to pay when the job was fully finished. They claim ""
""No Quibble"" Guarantee - ""If the Service we provide fails to perform as we describe, we will make it right!"" They did not.

Called company after they didn't finish the job the first time around. They sent a text two days after the fact declining service. If you want a job done right, go to somebody else.
