Steve B.Don't know what happened to them. They use to be my go to plumbing company. Last few times I've used them I have had to cancel and call someone else. They always did good work when they showed up but I can't have a plumbing emergency and wait 5 or 6 hours for someone to call me back. Sucks because their prices were the best in town but what good is it when you never know if they are actually going to show up or not.
I tried to schedule service for a broken furnace at my rental house. Unfortunately they couldn't get to me until late evening that day. I understand they are busy, so no problem. Then I get a call that they have to cancel that appointment. Tenants have a night without heat in 35 degree weather. We reschedule for noon the next day. I had a call at 10:30 when I'm in church and can't take it. As soon as I can I give them a call around 11:00. The dispatcher tells me I missed my appointment last night and this morning and I will have to wait until the following day.
This is completely unacceptable. It seems there is very poor internal communication within the company which translates into problems for the customer. Tenants have been without heat for two days because of this. They certainly lost my business.
HVAC service. We called just after 7am because the AC was not blowing cold air overnight. We were told they would arrive by 10am. At noon, no show no call. We called them and were told that they were busy but would be there soon. 2pm no call no show, I called them (female owner of the house) and the lady in the office was very apologetic but still could not give me a time they would actually be there but reassured me that they would be there sometime that day. Finally got a call about 4:30 that someone was in route and showed up at 5pm, seriously 7 hours late!!!! Also they failed to inform me that it was going to be $175 just to show up. Over the 7 hour waiting period, I asked several friends on Facebook what the problem was and was told probably the capacitor (which was under warranty still) which is very inexpensive and only takes about 20 minutes to install. They were correct. So I paid $175 for 20 minutes of work on a warrantied part and the service tech didn't even bother to clean the unit to make sure it was running at optimal capacity. I called the office the next morning to complain, the lady listened to my story and said she was going to talk to the owner. I week later, I have heard nothing. I had used this company several times prior and never paid that high a service call charge and had been pleased with there work BUT after this mess, I will never use them again.
Very very very disappointed with this company. Our water heater was not working. The repairman came over. He thought he could fix it with a thermo-coupler. The charge was going to be $295 He started to fix it and then said we needed a new water heater. Their charge for a new water heater was $1,400. We told him we will think about it and look around for a better price. We called another plumber who came out within 1/2 hour after Reddi Services. He fixed our water heater for $125. The thermo coupler was NOT put on correctly and the Reddi Service repairman left a part off. He left the sleeve off to keep the part in place. Seems this company just wanted to sell us a water heater. I'm sure our water heater needed the new thermo coupler, but we did not need a new water heater! Would NOT recommend this place. The only good thing with this company - no service charge.
Tania H.Thank you to the dispatcher, Phil and Don, our service tech. An hour after I called Don was at our door, figured out the problem and was able to get the replacement pump, install it and got us back in business quickly and efficiently. I would highly recommend Reddi Services.
K C.The plumbers are good. However, the dispatching and planning is horrible. No set time or even a reasonable window when they arrive. You might find yourself camping at home all day hoping they show up. They call 30 min before they show up. So camp at home ALL DAY and wait for a phone call.
1 star? Not a surprise. If professional skills anywhere near their lack of courteous driving skills don't touch this company. Vehicle license ending in 5868 Friday June 28 at 9:22 pm. Rude.
Allyssa F.A friend of mine referred me to reddi services. I had a what I consider to be an emergency in the bathroom with my toilet within 10 minutes of calling (super nice lady on the phone) I had to call that I was next in line and someone would be here within 30 minutes. I found out there's no extra service fee corner basically anything for them to come to my house. They do heating and cooling and plumbing and still looks like everything else. David Wilson, bless him, was my guy that day. He was young and I was concerned at first. He's a very smart young man, he explained everything to me in detail and answered all of my questions. We even had a few laughs. I don't think I could give a higher rating to a company. Your employees are wonderful and yourprices are more than fair and I appreciate the military discount. Updating my review after two bad experiences this month.
Called this outfit a month ago for a clogged driveway drain leading into my basement. They said someone would call right back but it never happened. We are getting 4 inches of rain over the next 48 hours, so I took the day off work today and called again and requested same-day emergency service to clear it before my basement fills with water. Was told someone would be here today and they would call 30 mins before arrival. By late afternoon I was getting nervous so I called. Was told someone would call me right back. So now, as my basement is literally filling up downstairs and I just turned my sump pump on, it's 8:00 pm and I'm kind of thinking they aren't going to make it. Reddi, if I treated my bosses the way you treat your customers, I would be fired. So tonight I'm firing you as a company that I ever call for service again. And I'm leaving this review on every corner of the webisphere. You owe me a vacation day and a dry basement.
Way too expensive . Plus they didn't clean up thier mess. And after it started raining this spring I'm a little disappointed in how they did the job.. I had to add piping to it myself. They charged me about four times what a normal plumbing company would charge... The only benefit to this company is they can usually jump on the job pretty fast and that's why I didn't really care to call around because at the time ( December was selling the home) I was in a big hurry but after talking to other people in this industry I really should have called around and waited....These guys work on commission so it's expensive ...
