Wonderful experience here. Called in for quote on 10/26/2020 (Sunday) 10am when most plumbers are closed. One of the owners (Leslie) answered and was nice, friendly and gave me a reasonable quote. Made some small talk with her about life and then Told me the fixed cost for keeping service under an hour and in rare cases it may go over an hour.

Conrad (or Conner) Showed up about 2 hours later and he was nice and professional. He had to check/clear a sewer clog by removing our downstairs toilet because we could not find the outside pipe to the sewer. He fixed the issue and didnt mind me hovering over him and telling him how ""I could do it but I dont wanna"" =)

Great experience - will use again. Now it's good to know of an honest and reputable plumber in Contra Costa County.

We called around a variety of larger shops and got the standard response of "" we can see you next week, and oh by the way, we can can commit to a time of between 08:00am and 3pm..."" Ummmm, no thanks.
So we ended up with Reddi Rooter, nice enough, turned up within 30 mins of scheduled time to fix a plumbing issue that has plagued us for months....
Two guys turned up, the owner of the business was the lead technician and resolved the issue . His assistant however, was not the sort you want to meet down a dark alley ... tattoos to the hilt, pierced ears (all fine by me), EXCEPT the smell was unbearable; he reeked of cigarette smoke and or alcohol... . You know the sort, breathing heavily, poor hygiene and just left a very bad smell in our home after he left.
It is on that note that if you book with these guys, (the lead tech's wife answers the phone to schedule), I would insist that the assistant either cleans himself up and takes a good long hot shower before turning up, or ask that he stay outside your home!!!
Honestly, the smell was AWFUL!

Reddi Rooter is FANTASTIC! We've been using them for ages. Today Derek and Conway went way beyond awesome! Prompt, polite and phenomenal!
.... 4 months later & Derek saved the day again! I told my husband to NEVER THROW AWAY HIS CARD! Great, fantastic job once again!

Just a clog I thought, but old houses have problems new houses don't. The guys were persistent and professional. Problem resolved at the estimate even though an old pipe can create exceptional issues. Good job.

You would be so grateful as I was to have Dan Thompson, Reddi Rooter's owner and plumber, take care of what ails your home plumbing. A plumber since 1973, Dan is an honest hardworking old school plumber. He knows way more than most plumbers today with their corporate logo polo shirts and paper booties. Dan won't try to sell you on getting some fancy camera photos of your plumbing or $10,000 repiping. He goes under the house and fixes it. And it stays fixed. We've had sooo many plumbers and so many disappointments over the past 30 years we've been in our home. Hooray for Dan. The sewage backups are finally over. He also fixed our wonky running toilets and they have stayed fixed which is more than I can say for Letts, CoCoCo and all the others we've paid to fix our toilets. Letts actually told me one of my toilets, a Toto, was ""worn out."" Absurd. Reddi Rooter is reasonably priced, fast, honest and accurate. Highly recommend.

The company came out immediately and was able to replace water heater right away. Did a great job made everything to code. It was a Saturday and no extra charge. Great company. They referred me to a company two months earlier for a complete sewer line. Their referral saved me about half of what other companies was going to charge. Will continue to use them for all my plumbing issues.

My elderly mother's power had been out for 2 1/2 days due to the PG & E PSPS. When the power came back on the compressor in her refrigerator blew. I managed to get a new refrigerator delivered the next day but the plumbing under the sink that feeds the ice maker line was corroded and the appliance store would not install the appliance. I needed a plumber ASAP. I called several companies and was not impressed. I was told that they would call me back at some later date. When I called Reddi Rooter the woman who answered the phone was VERY sympathetic to my poor mom's dilemma. Dan came out the same day at 4 pm and fixed everything under the sink allowing for the new refrigerator to be installed the next morning. He pointed out that we had water damage from leaking caulk around the sink. I took a close look and realized that the condition of the caulk was awful and the area below the sink and under the faucet was getting dry rot. It needed to be addressed as well. Dan came out a few days later to recaulk the sink and backsplash around the entire counter area. The job ended up being a lot more extensive than he had originally anticipated and quoted but she was not charged more because of that. It is so rare to find a contractor who is so honest. As a bonus Dan also left the kitchen/sink spotless.

I've used Reddi Rooter several times over the years and have always had prompt and courteous service. My father-in-law recommended this company to me.

They have an after hours operator that can schedule next day service, which is a great relief as most of my problems seem to happen late at night!

I've had simple drain cleanings and more complex main service replacement; they've always done a great job the first time! Highly recommended!

Had a backed up main lateral, called them on a Saturday, they were able to come out within a couple hours and snake my line. Very quick, polite, and professional. And also very reasonably priced. Will be calling them for all my plumbing needs from now on.
