Hands down the best da*n plumber in San Francisco! Honest, RELIABLE, on time, efficient, fair pricing, friendly....do you see where I am going with this??!!?!!? I work with a realtor in The City and had a major problem with one of our sold listings. Sean was there when he promised, analyzed the problem, and provided a solution and fix in a timely manner. When we discovered there was more work to be done he made room for us in his schedule and did a superb job making the agent, seller, and buyer very happy people! I highly recommend Sean and Red Wrench Plumbing for any job you may have!

Woke up this morning to a really cold shower. Went down and checked the water heater and it was dripping at the bottom. Called Red Wrench a bit before 8, and Sean said he could meet me about 12. He was here 15 min early and got right to work. Had hot water back up and running before the end of the day.

He was professional, explained what he was doing and why, and left the place clean. Will use him again if the need arises.

Sean is such an honest man. I knew exactly what I need done to my drain due to a couple of contractors giving tips on what needs to be completed. He explained scenarios of what can happen if the drain is not fixed. He also gave me estimates for each work that could be done, and he never pushed me to do anything. He offered advice when I asked him. He also said that he can do it at a good time and he did not disappoint.

I will add to the list of big fans of Red Wrench Plumbing (and the Cole Hardware referral service)! Cole picked up the phone promptly and referred me to Red Wrench (and sent an email on my behalf as well). I called Sean late Friday afternoon, and he was willing to come to my apartment on Saturday. No need as it wasn't an emergency - my bathroom sink and tub had been draining slowly, and I finally needed to address it. We scheduled an appointment for Monday at 11:00 am, and he called around 9:30 am asking if he could come early. Early - wonderful! He dealt with both drains in less than 30 minutes - was incredibly polite, funny, and made recommendations on how to avoid my drain problems on a go-forward basis. I definitely have had experiences with ""challenging"" plumbers in the past, so I was not particularly looking forward to my appointment. Sean made it an absolute pleasure! Call him!

Two plugs here: First to Cole Hrdwr for their fantastic referral service. I have used them often and always with good results. Cole referred Red Wrench to me for replacing a kitchen faucet. Sean was timely, efficient, clean and cost conscious. We talked about a series of other minor plumbing annoyances we were having and he had suggestions - repair in one case, replace in another. I had him come back and take care of those jobs. Very satisfied with everything. Plan to call him next time if I need a good plumber.

Had a list of things to be done that I emailed to Sean. When he arrived he had all
needed parts in the truck.

He called to ask if it was okay to come early. I figured by the time he arrived the house keeper would be close enough to being finished to be no problem. He checked in the kitchen first to view the problem there. He stepped in, a couple of seconds later the house keeper laughed, all went well from there. He did the things first that would allow her to finish.

The biggest thing of the day was the water heater. He checked it and gave what I believe to be a fair evaluation of the life expectancy for it.

Finally, an honest, competent plumber in San Francisco!!! After dealing with know-nothing, absurd ""plumbers"" working under their companies' licenses with little training or knowledge themselves, here's the amazing Sean, referred to us by the good folks at Cole Hardware. YAY! Backed up pipes, horribly messy business, fixed completely and quickly at a very reasonable price (compared to 2 other highly rated on Yelp plumbing companies that gave us ridiculous estimates and couldn't show up that day). Do yourself a favor: don't waste your time calling around, just call Sean. Seriously. You can thank me later.
