Steve help me out in a pinch when I needed leaking pipe faucets replaced and a water pressure regulator installation for my house. Something that should've been in the house before I even bought it! His right hand man, Luis did a masterful job and correctly fixed my current plumbing and gas problems. This crew is dependable and most importantly, handled the job with quality as a priority. Checked and double checked, making sure the job was flawless. They are my Santa Fe go to guys for plumbing work, period.

This company was responsive, and communicative, and even though my job was small, prioritized my needs and fit me into their schedule quickly; within a few days compared with a few weeks like the other local plumbing companies - even the highest-rated ones. Justin was willing to troubleshoot and get creative until the issues were resolved and the project was completed to my satisfaction. I am very happy with the work and as a single working mom, I found the cost to be quite reasonable. I will happily use The Plumbing Company again. Good guys!

GOOD WORK, BUT VERY HIGH BILLING PRACTICES
I called The Plumbing Company on a Monday morning and they were able to send a plumber to repair our toilet by Tuesday at noon. The repair required a new toilet flange and a wax ring kit, which Justin said he didn't have on his truck and would have to go pick them up at his supply house. I was surprised that a licensed plumber coming to do a toilet repair didn't have a flange or wax ring with him, but said OK. Justin returned more than an hour after he left, and installed the flange and reset the toilet. The work was very good. HOWEVER, when he gave me the bill it was almost $500, and the labor charge included 2.5 hours at $140 per hour of labor ... $350 ... plus a $40 trip charge. I paid it, but I was stunned at the time and have grown angrier as I think about the experience. This IS Santa Fe and we are used to high prices, but $500 to replace a toilet flange is excessive even here.

The technician was so-so, not very friendly and while their services say they include leak detection, he couldn't find my plumbing leak. I had to call a dedicated leak detection company from ABQ which I should have done in the first place.

I loved my experience with the plumbing company. I had discovered a leak near my water tank in my garage. It was fixed in less than 15 mins and I'm a happy customer.

The timeline of events was awesome too. I called and left a message at the end of the day on Wednesday. They had someone over to me by Thursday afternoon AND they fixed my noisy toilet too with the extra spare time from the one hour minimum of work.

Happy camper all around. 10 stars. Would recommend to anyone.

When you call the company number you either talk directly with owner Steve W. or you leave a voicemail for him. The first thing you notice is Steve's accessibility and availability. I had to have a shower faucet valve replaced, started by a different company and not finished by them because they quoted a price to finish 3 times what every other plumber in town quoted. Steve sent Luis to do the job, and he was great and the job was done right. Next I wanted a very old and malfunctioning combi boiler taken out and a new standard hot water heater installed. Justin and Luis did that right too, and Steve remained actively involved, even coming by twice before hand to be sure of what needed to be done. And right before Xmas holiday too.
Let me put it this way, I've dealt with 3 plumbing companies in town, and the bottom line is this: call Steve at The Plumbing Company and relax, knowing you're getting the best available, at competitive pricing. Thanks Steve, and the guys.

The Plumbing Company staff worked with me to resolve confusion over work done by one of their plumbers. They were very responsive to my follow up calls and Justin was great to work with. He said several times, on two follow up visits, that they wanted me to be happy with their work. I give them 5 stars for their customer service focus.

Also, they were the only plumbers that made time the same day I contacted them to come out on a service call. Everyone else I contacted said they couldn't schedule an appointment until a week or more out.

Don't use this company. Did a sewer line scope a year ago for a home inspection and ""found nothing"", I bought the house and lo and behold there is a sewer line back up and now it turns out my entire sewer line, all the way to the street, needs to be replaced because of massive root invasion.
