installed a new main water line with Pex A pipes due to my backyard water leak (pipe burst). Even though I had to wait for a month to finally get the work done, I am so blessed and glad I did. They Also repiped my house inside with Pex A pipes to replace my aging galvanized pipes. Would highly recommend this company. Have good crew although Repipe Specialists subcontractors the work to Red Cedar Plumbing Plumbing&Drain Cleaning. Work was done in 1 day and the 6 man crew cleaned up after they finished the job. They used carpet covers to protect carpet from excessive dust due to cutting sheet rock. Repipe Specialists also referred me to patcher through their subcontractor to patch up drywall after the repiping was done. About 7-8 hour patchwork for about 16 drywall pieces in my home.

They offered a free in person consultation to check the water stain issue on a wall of my guest bathroom. The technician was very honest and told me that it was due to the moisture in the bathroom which caused the stains. There are also stains in other walls in the same bathroom though less visible. They also helped double check the water meter and confirmed the water meter was not running (thus no concern over broken pipe in the wall). Would definitely recommend them for any plumbing issues.

Our water heater was at the end of its life so we decided it was time for a replacement.
After exchanging messages from various local companies, Sandeep from Red Cedar was the only one who'd send out a tech free of charge for a consultation which was awesome.
Their tech, Adam, came out promptly 30 mins later; said this was a simple swap and provided me a super competitive price and straight away I agreed. In fact, their rates seemed to be 30-50% less than other bids I had gotten.
I asked what his availability looked like and said, ""let's do it right now!""
2 hrs later and boom, hot water babies.

Red Cedar did a full re-pipe and water heater replacement in 1 day to switch us from galvanized to PEX pipes. This was great until 3 days later when many of our fixtures clogged up with rust. They came back out the next day and tried to clear the clogs but eventually said that they couldn't clear the clogs as the rust was coming in via our water supply line which was still galvanized. They evaluated replacing it for us but recognized because of the steep slope that they couldn't do the job. After we got the main line replaced they came back out and again cleared all the fixtures all of this under warranty.

Even though we had unforeseen issues with this job Red Cedar was responsive and willing to cover their warrantied work even though the root issue wasn't with their work.

We really like this company. We noticed our french drain wasn't draining very well out in to the street, and we also noticed our backyard grass was always soggy. They were quick to come out an address our backyard drain issues. They evaluated, gave us a great quote, and came out the next week to perform the work on replacing our french drain. (Before they suggested replacing it completely, they honestly gave us options to blow it out with high pressure washer) Turns out the previous home owner installed the french drain, and didn't do the best work. Red Cedar Plumbing took the time it needed to get it right.

We would definitely hire them again for any future plumbing needs.

3.5 stars for poor job of finishing---workmen did not backfill hole dug into crawlspace, causing water to leak under our home. 4 stars for quick communication. 5 stars for being pleasant workmen. It would've been great had they finished the job properly. We went with Cedar due to a previous five star review from someone who also had their water pipe leak between street and home. Same situation. Initially were told water would be shut off for 4 hrs...but by the end of day, turns out the old fixture street side was too rusty and broke. Stores were closing and they did not have the part on hand in their truck. So no water for our family overnight. Zero. Things happen. Next day, not sure why it took all the way till almost dark to finish. Not sure when the part was found but the workmen were working till almost dark before the water finally came back. Two days. We never even thought of going down into the crawlspace to check on their work until months passed from summer into rainy season. Needed to check for a future bathroom remodel...my husband found standing water in the crawlspace, under and above the plastic sheeting. Some mold was starting to grow by that area under our boards. Then we saw the hole dug under the pipe filled with water. It was where it was all coming in from. We messaged Cedar plumbing to let them know about the lack of care in their workmanship and they did offer to send someone out to look at it. My husband considered it but decided he didn't trust them to do it right, not after omitting something as basic as backfilling properly in the first place. He bought a sump pump and hand siphoned areas where the pump could not go. Still not sure how we will get the water off the plastic. Real pain to deal with. Not even sure if the mold will disappear. We bought cement sand and filled in the area outside above ground also. We saved money going with Cedar but now we question it for the long run. From now on we will personally check work right after completion. Really hoping no further damage happens from the moisture and that it will soon dissipate.

David said the main pipe was clogged and gave me the price before the work. It takes way longer than expects, but he didn't charge any extra and explained what's going on during he is working. The price is good! David worked excellent!

I have to say this is an amazing company. Sandeep the owner came to my house and did an evaluation of a repipe, he was very knowledgeable and gave me advice as if it were his own home. He listened to my concerns and gave me the information I needed to make the final decision on a preventative issue. I believe his wife is the one I always speak with on the phone and she is an angel! She has worked with me with some things that arouse after the work was done and really cares about the company she represents and gets back to you and that says a lot. I had my whole house repiped and at a reasonable price and was done with quality work. Then I also had some of their plumbers install a bathtub and part on my hot water tank and I can't speak their praises enough, really hard workers and were extremely nice and personable. They will forever be my plumbers!!

Great experience. Had Red Cedar repipe my house including the main line from the street. They were very professional and did a great job. I really appreciated the communication and follow through. This is the way a large project like this should be handled.
Cost was explained up front - very good price by the way - and that's what I paid. No pressure, no vague promises just solid work, on time and done right.

Highly recommended.
