I am very frustrated by the lack of communication and laissez-faire attitude this company has. I scheduled an appointment for an initial service and was told to be available between 10-2pm. It is currently 3:53pm and I have just been informed that the technician """"may"""" arrive between 4:30-5pm. I found this information after I initiated contact with the office. Additionally it was expressed that the technicians don't have time to call their office to update anyone on timing and yet somehow, the dispatcher is able to give me a new arrival time. This has been a disappointment and a waste of an entire day.

Called Red Cap to the house to replace a faucet in the guest bathroom. We had already purchased the new one so no parts were necessary. Upon completion the bill was nearly $700. I am no plumber but that is ridiculous! When I inquired prior to the service how much it would cost I was informed that the service technician would determine that upon completion of the job. Well, when that time came, I was then informed of the set price of $700 for that specific job. I would have NEVER used Red Cap if I had known I was going to be charged a king's randsom. Total BS! Do NOT use this company unless you want to overpay several hundred dollars for a simple job.

They will be our go to HVAC company. We had another company (And Services) come out and try to charge us $1300 to fix a leak in our HVAC. We called Red Cap, who was able to come the next day and instead told us we just had a backed up pipe. They cleaned it and charged us $15. Michael Bell was extremely professional, efficient and didn't try to scam us. Two of my friends always use Red Cap and swear by them. They now have a new customer in us as well.

Called to get a repair on a small irrigation leak. When I explained to the person what the problem was (during the initial call) she stated that they do 'some' irrigation work, depending. Ok. I was informed at that time of the $29.95 service fee for having them come out and check. When the plumber arrived, I showed him the spot. He called his boss, """"do we do irrigation work?"""", apparently the boss said, """"NO"""", the plumber hung up. The call lasted less than 5 seconds. Then the technician said, """"if its underground, NO...if its overground, YES."""" That'll be $29.95. = DOH! I got shafted. The lady who took that initial call could have asked that SIMPLE BASIC CUSTOMER COURTESY question, """"is the irrigation leak underground? (which 99% of irrigation is underground). TOTAL BOGUS SERVICE CALL. HE KNEW BEFORE HE GOT HERE IT WASN'T SOMETHING HE CAN WORK ON. I lost 2 hours and possibly a better booking from a company who can actually fix the tiny leak. All I can say is, don't spend it all in one place! Never again.

As of my experience, the company seems to be a pure scam. I don't know who are their clients, but they tried to offer me a water heater replacement just for $2600 given that they already applied their 20% discount for the new members... Go find idiots somewhere else!

Absolute fiasco. Lawn care hit the refrigerant line to our unit. Red cap schedules a tech to come out; tech calls us pre arrival giving us every reason under the sun why he can't show up/can't do anything- all without seeing the unit. Says refrigerant will need replaced and will cost """"$2000"""" and we can thank Biden for that. Tech cancels appointment; we call dispatch and get a similar experience with the dispatcher including holding to the $2000 quote. Will never use them again for anything. Absolute garbage.

DON'T USE THIS COMPANY """"RED CAP"""". Poor service. They repiped my home. Poor install. Leaks. Install manager Kyle rude when I wanted the leak repaired. Office unresponsive.

Paid over $6,000 for a plumbing repair last year. I called their accountant Michelle after the job to confirm we had a $0 balance. Less than a year later, same leak happens due to their poor installation. After speaking with Rachel and Kyle, they determined they would not cover the services listed on their warranty because of an """"overdue bill"""". We have signed copies of invoices paid but this company refuses to fix the leak due to their fake """"overdue bill"""".

I called this company because I had a leak with my washer and wasn't sure where the water was coming from. They were very responsive and were able to get an appointment very quickly. They are open 24 hours which is wonderful they can send their technicians anytime of the day. They charge 29.95 for dispatch but there are additional fees if they diagnose it so make sure you ask questions so you know there are more charges. Chris came to check the leak and he was wonderful. He has outstanding manners and answered all my questions and made sure that I understood what was wrong with the machine and explained things to me. I really appreciate him and his hard work and I really recommend him to everyone. He run the washer few times to figure out what was happening. Unlike the previous Plummer who came in and did nothing. I will recommend Red Cap to everyone, ask for Chris!

They changed 2 of the water heater connectors and changed me $700. My tenant was the one that called them and just sent me the bill otherwise I wouldn't have used them with that quote. The worst part is that after charging the $700 they recommended that we change the tank and gave a quote for $2400, it would have been nice of them to recommend that and put on hold the changing of the conector. That would have save me some money but it is not part of their business model. Very surprised that they let the tenant decide it is okay to do the work, my understanding was that work has to be approved by the owner of the property. Spoke with the service manager, very nice person but the only solution was to give me $100 coupon for the next time I call red cap. I am still waiting for a call back from them to explain to me exactly what was done and the price breakdown. For a one hour of work and 2 connectors the price doesn't add up.
