I had a Yelp thread with Mr Mitchell during the "freeze of 2021". Knowing that all plumbers were going to be super busy during this time, so on Wednesday we set up an appointment for Saturday 02/20 between noon-2pm. I had lost water and turned off my main water line just in case there was a problem (Flume was showing 20 gallons/hour being used but nothing coming into the house).

On Friday, I called and personally talked with Mr Mitchell to confirm we were still good for Saturday - he said we were.

Saturday, I received no call or updates from Mr Mitchell so I decided to call him at 2:30pm to confirm he was still coming out. I got no answer but got an automated text message directing me to text him, I figured this was because he was on another job so I texted him when could I expect him to arrive - no reply.

After several attempts to get him to respond, I decided to turn on the water myself and slowly open faucets (started outside then worked my way inside).

Everything was going well so I texted Mr Mitchell that he didn't need to come out - he replied "ok".

4 minutes later I noticed a leak at one of my backyard faucets - the line is fully above ground and there was a 1" gash in the copper.

I immediately (4 minutes later) responded to Mr Mitchell's "ok" text that I still needed him to come and provided a picture. Several calls and texts were never responded to - forcing me to find another contractor willing to come out.

I fully understand that these were unprecedented times and would have understood him showing up later or needing to reschedule but there was zero communication the entire day of the agreed upon repair date and time. Not once did Mr Mitchell attempt to contact me during this whole ordeal.

Just goes to show that in times of crisis the customer is at the mercy of the service provider. A little courtesy would have gone a long way and I would not be writing this review.

Also - the repair took about 15 minutes to complete once the other contractor arrived - easy money. The person that actually came out was $100 cheaper without even trying to negotiate.

We discovered what looked like a foundation leak on Mon. morning. It was fixed by Mon. evening, without an after hours upcharge! Mr. Mitchell made the time to come out within a few hours of calling, and quickly assessed the issue. He quoted a fair estimate, sent two very nice and capable young men to make repairs. Within a span of a few hours, all work was professionally done, and they even cleaned up after themselves. It's not often you hear people talk about integrity, and doing the right thing by charging a pair price while they provide great service. You will if you hire Mr. Mitchell & crew. He is the needle in the haystack.

I had a major problem. I was outputting 23% more water per hour than normal and had a $200 water bill. I had a leak...somewhere. It's just me and I usually have bills under $100. I called a couple of companies, not very customer friendly to say the least then I started look for plumbers by their reviews. Red Brass had a solid 5 star review record so I called. I got in touch with Mitch. He said he could be there by 7 and he was. This leak was not obvious. There was nothing in the house that would indicate there was a leak. He looked absolutely everywhere. Isolated all of the water lines. He is by far the best at what he does. But what I want to highlight here is this. He said to me "nobody ever wakes up thinking they want to call a plumber." It's true. Of everything that goes wrong, you think of your pipes last because we all think those are solid and nothing can go wrong there. He is a person, not just a company. He understood my financial situation and his willingness and persistence to go out of his way to find and almost impossible leak amazed me. Not many people would go out of their way to help like he did. Not only would I recommend him and this company, I will be using them for all of my plumbing needs. Indoor and out.

To start, Uryss M. got back to us on Yelp within 5 minutes...after standard working hours. They were professional, courteous, and mindful of my time. Mitch came to our home exactly when they said he would. He was extremely friendly, professional, and knowledgable. Not only did he explain everything regarding our home's plumbing, he was very friendly with our three dogs! He gave us a prompt and accurate estimate, and went way beyond expectations. He did the work immediately following diagnostic, and he finished the work brilliantly! I would recommend this company without hesitation!

Awesome Service. Called at about 6 in the evening with a leak in my kitchen ceiling. He came out in about an hour. Made the best of the situation then came back the next morning to fix. Great guy who took the time to do it right. And he wasn't trying to up charge with other stuff. Gave honest answers to my questions . I had been debating some bathroom remodeling and he answered honestly which meant no extra money out of my pocket. I would gladly use this company every time.

I called this morning to see if I could get a quote for a leaky hot water valve to my washing machine. He gave me a good ball park figure but assured me that if the work needed more than this, they would stop and let me decide what I wanted to do. He asked me if I was available today and I was taken aback...I was expecting a few days before the technician could come...he arrived within 40 minutes to me calling for the quote. I showed him my issue and he had it fixed within 10 minutes and charged me HALF of what was quoted...HALF! I would use this company over and over again!

Give them a call! You will not be dissatisfied with them!
